A wonderful experience at Acıbadem International Hastanesi. The staff were very responsive, professional, and well-coordinated throughout my treatment. The food offered was also very tasty. They took excellent care of me from start to finish. Starting with the translator Yusuf, who helped me with all the paperwork, and ending with the nurse — especially Meltem, who was incredibly caring and always took the time to explain everything clearly. My doctor, Caglar, is very experienced and truly compassionate.

The night I spent in the hospital was very comfortable, the nurses were attentive and supported me the whole time. I am now waiting for good news, but so far everything is going very well. I definitely recommend this hospital — both for their expertise and for their warm, welcoming approach.

Everything was good — an individually tailored protocol for my case. Well organized, and they are very attentive to everything they do. Satisfied with the service. Round-trip transfer is included. They also pick you up and drop you off at the airport. A private room in the hospital with a private bathroom. Well cleaned, I was able to recover. Much better than Swedish IVF!!

At this group’s branch in Fulya I had surgery in 2022 and was very satisfied; my aunt had major surgery the same year in Maslak, I was her companion and observed everything closely. But I cannot say the same about Yeşilköy: besides a serious hygiene problem, we were surprised by the shortage of staff on the floor and the shortage of supplies. We paid half a million for 2 nights — of course, for our health, but I don’t want to list one by one everything the cleaning worker did wrong. In the post-discharge SMS survey I noted my complaints, and within 2 hours they called and apologized, but the second surgery we plan with my doctor in 2 months I will never do at Acibadem Yeşilköy International. I will recommend it to no one — as a doctor’s daughter and a person who pays attention to details, I will say: all of this is far from pleasant, and as for “class A” — that’s an outright disaster. I cannot fail to mention this separately. The 4th floor nurse Perihan is a person who does her job properly. To the orderlies — Besime hanım and Suzan hanım — thanks again: during their shifts they work alone with all their heart on the entire floor. To those who ask me about my changes and want advice, I will of course recommend my doctor, but the hospital — never. What does it mean when a kitchen worker entering the room of a patient sleeping after surgery has their phone ring? After waking the patient, they apologize. Twice we saw the floor being wiped and then the same cloth used to wipe the countertop. Your hospital is very far from “hygiene,” decorating the entrance with a New Year’s tree is not enough….

I had a great experience at Acibadem Hospital. On my way to Istanbul I got very sick — severe congestion. I needed to see a doctor to figure out how to proceed and whether I could even fly. Doctor Aras Senvar was magnificent. He listened to my complaints and then used his more than 50 years of experience to guide me. After the examination he laid out in detail which medications he was prescribing and why he believed they would help. My translator was a young man named Uruk. He was also excellent. When answers to some questions were needed, he found the right ones. Several administrative issues arose because I was admitted the same day I sought help, and he helped resolve them all. And finally, a girl named Elanara — she was the first to take my call and found a way to book me into the ENT department, whose schedule was already full. I called at 8 a.m. and by noon I was already being seen — all thanks to her wonderful attitude and “everything is possible” approach. If she had simply said the schedule was full, I would not have been seen at all. Thank you to all these people. Although I hope I won’t have such illnesses and need urgent care again, IF it does happen — my first call will be to Acibadem International Hospital.

This is a great hospital, the doctors and staff are very good, and the conditions are above average. My daughter was born here, and the service and support were five-star. However, please be aware that prices for foreigners are extremely high — to the point that they feel exorbitant. For a simple spirometry they quoted me 22,000 Turkish lira (over $500). When I objected, they immediately lowered the price to 15,000 Turkish lira (which demonstrated that the original price really was a rip-off), but even that is still too much. I went to another hospital and paid 1,000 Turkish lira. So, if you are a foreigner, I recommend going elsewhere. And always confirm the prices for examinations before the consultation.

Overall Impression
Acıbadem Hospital is an excellent clinic with outstanding service, highly professional staff, and incredibly supportive translators. The local Georgian translators working at Acıbadem are wonderful, they were extremely attentive, kind, and helpful throughout my entire visit.

Positive Experience
From the moment I arrived, the local team made me feel well cared for. A special thanks goes to Tsira, the invited translator, who was truly exceptional. She helped me tremendously by organizing my appointments, resolving scheduling issues, and ensuring I could see many doctors on time. Without her dedication, I would not have been able to complete so many consultations efficiently.

I also want to sincerely thank Tamar Melashvili, Natia, and all the Georgian staff at Acıbadem. They went above and beyond in every aspect. These are remarkable professionals who are not only skilled but also deeply compassionate. Their kindness and dedication were the highlight of my experience.

Challenges Faced
Unfortunately, my initial arrangements through external providers in Georgia were very disappointing. Nothing was properly planned when I arrived, not even my appointments with doctors were scheduled. The local hospital staff themselves were surprised by the lack of preparation.

The DGS provider team did not assist me properly. They rarely gave clear answers, often failed to organize transfers or doctor visits, and never informed me in advance about preparations needed for tests. Because of this, what should have been a 2-3 day medical check-up turned into 4–5 days, disrupting my plans. Without the incredible help of the local Georgian staff at Acıbadem, my tests and consultations might have stretched to 10 days or more.

Recommendation
For anyone planning to come to Acıbadem for a check-up, I strongly recommend contacting the hospital directly and avoiding third-party providers. The official hospital team is professional, organized, and genuinely cares about patients.

Conclusion
Despite the challenges caused by external service providers, my overall experience at Acıbadem Hospital was excellent thanks to the local Georgian team. They are an invaluable asset to the hospital, and I am truly grateful for their support.

Everything about the place is nice, but the prices are very high. In the end, this is the healthcare sector, and it feels like if you don’t have money, you’re not meant to receive treatment.

So far I have had a wonderful experience staying at this hospital.

One of the biggest conveniences was the free transfer they arranged: they not only drove us from the airport to the hotel and back, but also provided free transfer to all the doctor’s appointments. This support significantly eased the whole process and made it less stressful.

Special thanks to Danna, who was incredibly responsive and kind throughout the entire time. She handled the organization of all our appointments and was always available to guide us through each step. Her communication and dedication to her work truly stood out and meant a lot to us.

Although we have not yet finished the procedure and will continue with follow-up appointments and treatment, the experience so far has been very positive. We feel confident and at peace, knowing we are in reliable hands.

A few days ago I had rhinoplasty at this hospital. Even though the prices are quite high, I was very satisfied with the service. The nurses took very good care of me. They were sweet and friendly. The only negative point, besides the prices, is that the staff barely speak English, so it can be difficult without a translator.

The doctors at this hospital are very good, very polite people who know their job, respect their work, amazing people. However, the hospital itself is run in the spirit of a cunning Istanbul taxi driver or with a racist approach from management: they count the bill. They write 100 for a Turkish citizen, 250 for a foreigner… If you have money — go, let them fleece you.

I would like to sincerely thank you for your attention and concern during my visit to your hospital. Thanks to the help I have received, as well as the pleasant hospital staff and wonderful nurses, I feel much better now.

Acibadem Hospital is the highest category hospital I have ever seen. Orthopedic surgeons are real pros! The staff is very friendly. I am glad that I chose this hospital and was operated in it. Thanks again to everyone.

I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the doctors of the Department of Reproductive Medicine at Acibadem – they gave us the happiness of being parents. My husband and I are 34 years old, we have been married for 12 years, during this time it did not work out to conceive a child. This hospital was recommended to me, and I am very glad that I turned to them. Our son is already a year and a half! Thank you very much!

This is a luxurious private hospital. Private rooms are allowed one companion. For simple operations it is worth coming here. However, in the urology department I do not recommend Professor Bülent Alagöl. As a doctor he has poor communication with the patient, as well as incorrect diagnoses and treatment.

Everything is cool! The hospital exceeded all my expectations.

As a foreigner from the USA, I can say that at this hospital I was received and cared for at the highest level. I fell and broke my elbow. Upon arrival at the hospital, I was immediately assigned a translator who accompanied me through every stage: orthopedic consultation, X-ray, CT, follow-up consultation and casting.

I received medical care of the same level as in the USA, but without the bureaucracy. In the emergency department the entire process took only three hours, and the total cost was 1638 US dollars. I was given a copy of the CT results, and a few days later the translator sent an official written report.

Almost two weeks later, my translator arranged a follow-up visit, and the hospital even paid for my return transport. Honestly, even in the USA I have never experienced such attentive treatment and such high-quality support after an emergency. Thank you to Abdulhamid — my wonderful translator, who also works in the oncology department. I was very lucky to be under his care and guidance.

Today I had a very good experience undergoing a comprehensive medical examination. My translator Ede, as well as all the doctors, nurses and technical specialists who helped me, were simply wonderful.

I especially appreciate how friendly the staff were while strictly observing medical standards. For example, when I thought a stress test was unnecessary, it was explained to me that it had to be performed not because it was part of the package, but because the professional approach to my health required it.

When some lab values turned out to be outside the normal range, I was able to discuss the results in detail with specialists who gave me practical recommendations. It was wonderful!

My only remark is that the names of the examination packages are too similar to each other, so it is easy to get confused about which services belong to which package. But this is easy to fix and it absolutely does not overshadow the high level of medical care that I received.

After a 35-day medical journey at Memorial Hospital Istanbul during the holy month of Ramadan, we are leaving with hearts full of gratitude. This hospital truly became a second family to us.

Our stay was dedicated to my father’s rehabilitation after a stroke, mainly to restoring his ability to walk.

My husband had surgery at the clinic with Professor Murat Binbay. The operation was performed by the professor using the Da Vinci Single Port robot.

We were discharged from the clinic two days after the operation. Rehabilitation went very easily. Already on the second day after discharge my husband walked 7000 steps, and on the third day — 10000 steps.

At this hospital, my husband’s sister was treated in the oncology department, and we visited her every day for several months.

Pros:

A new beautiful hospital with good equipment. However, it has no CT scanner of its own — patients are taken by ambulance to another hospital by arrangement.

Good wards: TV, amenities, almost like a hotel. There is a kettle, a fridge, tea and coffee are provided. You can choose a dinner option. The ward has a sofa for a companion, visits are practically unrestricted.

Strong oncologists and an excellent department dealing with punctures and removal of fluid from the abdominal cavity.

Cons:

The oncology department is overcrowded. Even with a ticket for 15:00, you can only get an appointment at 17:00. This happened regularly in recent months. It is very hard for seriously ill people to wait so long. I also noticed that patients with translators often go out of turn.

During the last week and a half of inpatient treatment on the second floor, the nurses many times could not get into the patient’s vein. In addition, we were told that blood could not be obtained, although it later turned out that the hospital had not even submitted a request.

In our case, stronger pain relief was needed, but we did not get it. On holidays there were also no specialists able to service the abdominal drainage.

If there is an opportunity to choose a ward not on the second floor, I highly recommend doing so. That is exactly where we encountered serious disorder.

For pricing information: an oncologist consultation for Turkish citizens is 2500 lira, the procedure for removing fluid from the abdominal cavity is 15000 lira, hospitalization is about 2500 lira per day.

The hospital has a lot of foreign patients, and due to the constant use of Google Translate the service time increases approximately fivefold.

The best hospital in Antalya for both children and adults. I have a condition that was ignored for years in other hospitals — both in Turkey and abroad. Here it was finally diagnosed and they are doing everything possible to help me control the disease and restore my health.

Yes, the prices are a little high, but that is exactly why it is a private hospital. I prefer to pay a little more than to face rude treatment and lack of attention in public hospitals.

There is only one remark: the cashier in the cafeteria (the woman who usually sits on the right) is very rude.

My respected Professor Ahmet Turan Aydin from the orthopedic department of Memorial Antalya Hospital performed surgery on my right knee, which was in a very problematic condition.

The operation was extremely complex, since it should have been done at least ten years earlier. Nevertheless, my professor and his team successfully carried out the intervention and achieved a positive result.

I was very satisfied with Professor Koray. However, the prices are really very high, additional medical insurance is not accepted, and the meal menu was composed very unprofessionally.

I asked whether you have a dietitian, and I was told that you do. But how can a dietitian work at such a hospital, composing a menu so that in one meal rice pilaf and a milk rice dessert are served at the same time?

That said, the hospital was clean.

Last week I had a hip replacement at Memorial. We were very impressed by the hospital: starting from the valet parking service, the friendly and professional staff, and ending with the cleanliness and modern equipment.

The doctor said I needed urgent hernia surgery. Got in touch at Christmas. Flew in today, on Boxing Day. Consultation at 3:00 pm with a professor of internal medicine. Laparoscopic surgery at 6:30 pm. The NHS (British National Health Service) said — 6 months. Only if strangulation occurred would I have had to hope I’d make it to the hospital in time. You can’t make an appointment, and as soon as you get to the hospital, they charge you about €200 for the doctor’s appointment, and you have to do a blood test for about €400 before the doctor will see you. They provided an interpreter who is very attentive, listens well and explains in detail.

The prices were excessively inflated compared to the USA, which is why they are a private commercial hospital.

We went to the hospital for a hair transplant; they were very nice and responsive. We came out faster than expected, which was great. Saleh was a huge help with the procedure and in translating for us. Thank you!

My father and I spent about 6 weeks in Istanbul for radiotherapy for him in the oncology department.

The experience was quite interesting. The employee who was in contact with our family, Mohammed, was excellent. He was very helpful with accommodation, and especially with obtaining our visa, since Voya Visa in Nigeria spent a whole month after our visas were approved without contacting us. He was able to reach a Turkish employee there who was helpful. I am grateful for this. The transfer from the airport to the accommodation was good, and the same goes for the transfers to and from the hospital. The drivers were different, most of them very friendly; unfortunately I don’t know their names, but I appreciate them. However, there were 2 in particular who were rude on several occasions, one of which hurt deeply. He refused to let my father sit in the front (it’s free seating, and sitting in the back makes my father nauseous, to the point of vomiting, which happened several times) — this angered me deeply, and I reported it, hoping something will be done about it for future patients.

Apart from this, the head doctor, Dr. Fayda, was professional and open to all questions. He could have been a little warmer.

However, his secretary is rude. Not responsive, only to interpreters, and not because of a language barrier.

There were other secretaries in other departments who shared the same strange attitude. This should be checked by the hospital. This is an international hospital, so there will be international patients. It doubles the work — to do the job and make people feel a little more at ease. Please pay attention, as this can greatly affect recommendations and ratings.

The hospital itself is clean, looks good, has a food point, many water points, medicine delivery from the pharmacy to the hospital and an ATM at the back.

The negative part is done. 🙂

The hospital is multidisciplinary and very good, although very expensive, but the attitude here is appropriate, everything is top level. My doctor Merdan Fayda is an excellent specialist, a radiologist, and the oncologist Dr. Meltem Hanım is also an excellent specialist. God forbid anyone ends up in a hospital. Nevertheless, a beautiful hospital — of course, for those who have money. If you have money, it’s like a hotel — oh, bliss.

My wife and I came from Los Angeles, California, to Istanbul specifically for a full check-up at Liv Hospital Ulus, and were truly impressed by the outstanding quality of service and medical care.

From the moment we entered the facility, everything exceeded our expectations — from the hotel-level modern setting to the professionalism of all the staff. We underwent a comprehensive health screening that included extensive blood tests, ultrasound of the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid and breast, as well as ECG, chest X-ray and consultations with a nutritionist, cardiologist and internal medicine doctor. The process was smooth, well organized and incredibly efficient.

In addition to the regular check-up, I requested an examination by an ENT specialist, Dr. Elçin Aritürk, since I have struggled all my life with breathing problems due to a deviated nasal septum. After a detailed examination, the doctor confirmed the need for surgery. Since this type of procedure is not covered by my insurance in Los Angeles and costs about $16 thousand there, I decided to have the surgery here at Liv Hospital.

The cost here was only $4 thousand, which also included one night’s stay. Today is the seventh day after the operation, and the silicone tubes have just been removed from my nose — it has truly been life-changing. For the first time in my life I can breathe freely through my nose. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Aritürk for her incredible care, expertise and compassion. Her approach was phenomenal and absolutely professional.

The hospital itself is world-class — far higher in quality than most medical centers we have encountered in California. The rooms, service and medical technology are all top level. The value for money is unmatched, and in fact the quality far exceeds the price. We are extremely satisfied with our experience.

We also want to express special gratitude to our interpreter and coordinator, Tatyana Kulak, who was by our side throughout the entire process. She translated everything from Turkish into Russian, provided constant support and ensured that we felt comfortable and cared for at every step. Her help was invaluable and added a personal touch that made the whole experience even more seamless.

My interpreter Arzu was absolutely incredible. A real treasure — she made the whole experience much better. She translated everything for me perfectly, calmed my mind and was very kind. The hospital itself is very clean, and the doctors are very good. HOWEVER, if it weren’t for my interpreter, I would definitely have given them the worst review. If you take a package, every doctor will try to sell you something extra. It seems like half their job is to make you spend more money. The first doctor told me to do hormone tests and go to an endocrinologist (after they asked me all sorts of questions about my cycle, etc.), only to find out later that the testing was useless because it wasn’t done at the right point in my cycle, and the endocrinologist said she couldn’t give me any information and I needed to go back to the States and redo the tests and see a specialist endocrinologist there, or stay in Istanbul until my next cycle (lol). Finally, after I complained A LOT, they refunded me for the hormone testing, but did not refund the endocrinologist. The pulmonologist and cardiologist also tried to make me do more than $1000 worth of tests, even though all my tests were normal. My advice, if you take packages — stick ONLY to what’s in the package, unless you absolutely have to do something else. Otherwise they will just keep making what you spend there go higher and higher, making you nervous about things you shouldn’t be nervous about. Even better — wait until the end of your hospital visit, when you meet with the doctor and go through all the results carefully before deciding whether to do more tests.

I recently had surgery at Liv Ulus Hospital, and the service was excellent from the very start. First of all, my interpreter Milagros was friendly and very responsive; she made sure everything went smoothly. My doctor Orçun Uyanık was the best — I had a small complication, but it was promptly resolved, and I stayed in the hospital for one extra night. I had an excellent experience at Liv Hospital Ulus. I came to Istanbul from abroad to undergo a PET-CT scan there. Everything was exceptionally well organized!

First I had a conversation via WhatsApp with a Russian-speaking coordinator, where we discussed the preferred date of my visit, the procedure and prices. I was also asked to specify the exact date and time of my flight, as well as the address of the hotel where I planned to stay, in order to arrange the transfer.

Then I was introduced to a wonderful Russian-speaking interpreter, Katerina, who helped us at every step and was always ready to help.

A transfer was arranged from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the hospital and back the next day, and finally to the airport on my last day in Istanbul.

Katerina met us at the reception and accompanied us to the PET department. She was with me during my consultation with the doctor before the PET-CT scan and explained each step of the procedure in detail.

I received the PET-CT results within four business days, and the English translation was provided the next day.

I want to express my deep gratitude to Katerina and Liv Hospital for their great help in such a delicate matter. I will definitely return to Liv Hospital for a comprehensive check-up next year.

I would like to draw your attention to a matter regarding my recent experiences at LIV Hospital. This week was my third visit, and I must express my disappointment with the secretaries in the MRI/ultrasound area. Their manner is consistently unfriendly, without smiles, and at times openly rude. As a person paying for medical services, like any other client, it is unpleasant to observe what looks like a difference in the treatment of foreigners and Turkish citizens. In addition, the disrespectful and offensive manner in which they interact with the interpreters helping us is deeply troubling. Unfortunately, based on these encounters, several acquaintances advised me to refrain from further visits to LIV Hospital. While I acknowledge the commendable standards maintained by the medical staff and interpreters, I firmly believe that the overall customer service experience requires immediate attention and correction. Despite the hospital’s impressive hotel-like facilities, the shortcomings in customer service undermine its reputation. Therefore, I call for a thorough evaluation and improvement of customer service protocols to ensure fair and respectful treatment of all patients and visitors.

Poor service; the doctors, the staff — everyone is stressed. They focus on money, not on patient care. The hospital is clean, but it’s strange to see a doctor who is angry and trying to treat you…

A clean hospital with good doctors. The waiting time so far hasn’t been too long either.

But, in my opinion, the design of the hospital floors is very claustrophobic. It has a low ceiling, like a metro station, and there isn’t a single window in the waiting area. On a whole floor there is only one toilet. They didn’t think to install something like a urinal — you wait for minutes for who knows what.

The hospital has more of a residence/shopping mall atmosphere. Since my preferred doctor works there, I go to him regularly. There are no parking spaces anyway. Today I gave the car to the valet, waited 31 minutes. You pay 300 lira and wait for the car in the cold.

The hospital is very, very good in all respects, but the prices are absurd — the appointment cost is 5750 lira. Supposedly the system showed 0, we said — let’s go, and it’s good we asked, otherwise there would have been a problem. Besides, paying 300 lira to the valet for not even standing 10 minutes is also a separate piece of foolishness. Look at the system, a person came out in 10-15 minutes — make a gesture, what does it cost you, in this I consider it a minus 🙏🏻

Located in a first-class spot. I have visited many hospitals around the world and can easily say that Turkey knows this sector very well. The doctors are highly qualified, the hospitality is excellent, and so far everything is good.

The missing star is due to the absence of an invoice in English.

I would like to express my gratitude to Experts Medical for providing high-quality services in the field of medical tourism. They operated on scoliosis in Turkey. Special thanks to the coordinator Natalia Storozhenko, who helped with choosing the clinic, assisted with kind advice and was always in touch. The hospital is very good, however people pay 25-30 thousand lira for surgery, and that’s the lowest — like nose, ear. Right at the entrance they created a whole army of valets, mashallah — under the name ‘parking fee’ a bad robbery is happening, they charge 30 lira for 1 hour. The hospital is already located in a traffic-problematic area, and since there isn’t even a street where you can leave a car — you are forced to pay. Fine, charge a fee, but I would say, be a little more conscientious. Not every field is a commercial enterprise; people come there for healing. Respectfully.

A good hospital, the doctors are very good, but pointlessly expensive. If you don’t have private medical insurance, you may pay an excessively high price for laboratory and radiology.

The hospital is excellent. I’ll explain why 3 stars. First of all, they have good, understanding doctors who listen.

Their nursing team is very attentive. The rooms are clean, and they have 5-star service when it comes to cleaning and food.

So why only 3 stars? For an international hospital that targets foreigners, there is a language barrier. You will have difficulties with almost everyone. The reports and everything are in Turkish. I asked for my report, and they said the English version would be ready tomorrow. It took me a week to get one, which was translated hastily and with Google Translate.

Something else I found disappointing — the fact that they told me they would offer me discounts, and actually started billing me every day, and when I ask them about the discounts, they tell me when I leave the hospital! But I am actually paying you every day. I did not like this business model and the lack of honesty.

Otherwise it’s an excellent hospital. If you find a doctor who speaks English — I was lucky to have one — and you can ignore their money-machine tactics, you’ll be fine.

After visiting Live Hospital, we only have good impressions. Dr. Selemi Suzubish – above all praise, he was very polite, correct, patient, answered all our questions in detail and explained.
