Professor Stoffel is one of Europe’s leading experts in the field of neurosurgery. Among other German specialists, he is distinguished not only by his enormous contribution to science, but also by the use of the latest technical advances, such as neuronavigation for minimally invasive operations.

For many years, the professor has been engaged not only in practical medicine, but also in scientific activities, including clinical research in the field of neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, tumors of the skull and spine.

• 2014 – obtaining a master’s degree at the German Spine Neurosurgery Society (DWG).

Professor at the University of Göttingts, Department of Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology.

As a research director, he is the author of numerous publications and treatment methods.

Many of his works were included in reference books and manuals on neurosurgery. Thus, his practical manual “Brain Tumors and Primary Tumors of the Spine”, published as the head of the neurosurgical clinic of the University of Munich, has already been published in four editions and serves as a reference book for many neurosurgeons in Germany.

Author of 139 scientific papers. Some of them:

• Therapy of tumors with metastases to the pancreas.
• Methylation of E-cadherin and DAP kinase in pancreatic adenocarcinoma and associated lymph node metastases.
• Achieving better results in complicated liver transplantation with ABO-incompatible donor and recipient.
