- Graduated from the Faculty of Biology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem;

- Trained in general surgery at Tel Aviv Medical Center and completed a 6-year residency;
- He completed his training in laparoscopic colon surgery at the Central Hospital of Rome, Italy;
- He completed an internship in hemorrhoid removal using Doppler at the Medical Center of the University of Graz, Austria;
- Trained in pelvic floor and anus reconstruction under the guidance of Prof. Longo in Vienna, Austria.

- He leads a research group dealing with clinical immunology at the Weizmann Institute;
- He is a supervisor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Tel Aviv University;
- Author of more than 30 scientific papers.
