I gave birth to my son there. The C-section was scheduled for Monday, the 4th, but my water broke on Sunday, the 3rd. We arrived, and everything was going well. But suddenly a gynecologist appeared, dressed in civilian clothes, and he was in a very bad mood. I had a C-section, and my son was born.

The problem began on the day of discharge. I had a blood test and was sent home. But as soon as I got home, I suddenly felt ill — my temperature rose to 40 degrees, and I had to go back to the emergency room with my baby. It turned out that I had a blood infection caused by the caesarean section.

In the end, they discharged me because they had no more beds, even though they probably already knew I had an infection. I don’t understand how they could have done the tests and not seen that something was wrong with me!

I want to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Aida Deudero and her wonderful team for the exceptional care they provided to my father on two separate occasions. Dr. Deudero’s professionalism, effective communication, genuine compassion, and remarkable leadership were instrumental in ensuring the prompt and effective management of my father’s urgent medical condition. We went to Teknon for the birth of my son. I can’t say good enough things. The reception was friendly and helpful, the doctors, midwives, and nurses were all so nice and helping. All the doctors and midwives and some of the nurses spoke very good English with us. Even the ones who couldn’t, tried their best to communicate effectively. The hospitality was very good, we received nice accommodation and great food. After birth, our son needed to be admitted to the ICU, and they took very good care of him there. When being discharged, they helped us by providing all kinds of useful information and even offered us their phone number to ask our questions later. They also gave us gift boxes and many extra diapers, baby milk, etc.

I am grateful to have such amazing team of doctors that I can trust. I just had a surgery under general anesthesia, the way they prepared for the op was thorough. How smoothly everything went from pre-op to operation and discharge was very pleasant. Thank you!

The gastroenterologist is excellent and the facilities are phenomenal, but the waiting time for appointments is awful and regrettable. I had to wait more than an hour for a scheduled appointment. Is my time worthless? The appointment is already expensive enough without having to waste time in a hospital hallway.

I was there for an operation on my wrist, everything was perfect. Excellent day hospital and conditions.

I liked the stay in this good clinic with a high level of service. The staff is very friendly. There is a translator from Spanish to Russian, she came along with the doctor. The doctor came even on days when he should not be in the clinic. The only negative thing is that after the end of hospitalization, we needed to extend our stay, because we wanted to hear the opinion of the doctor, and it cost us 500 euros per day. In general, I have very positive impressions from the clinic, doctor, and foreign department. A week later we had a Skype call with a doctor, he prescribed a treatment. We will wait for the results.

I brought here mom for the treatment of cataracts. This center (the Barcelona Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO)) is quite famous and attracted me by using the latest equipment and doing operations on the eyes with minimal intervention. My mother was very afraid of the operation, but when she saw qualified doctors and satisfied patients in the clinic, she somehow calmed down and sat her heart on the operation. Now she was operated on and she is recovering. We are waiting for results!

One of the best hospitals for children in Europe. There is a maternity hospital, gynecology, examinations, ambulance, and specialists. Everything is at the highest level, but you have to wait very long. Caring staff, comfortable wards. One- or two-people wards. There is a bathroom in the ward, you can take a shower as well as there is a wardrobe, a table. The beds are comfortable, regulated. There is a TV. Tasty food. The hospital is located on a mountain and the entrance offers a stunning view of Barcelona. There is a cafeteria-restaurant, very beautiful! The menu is about 10 euros. There are devices in which you can buy water, sandwiches, sweets, juices, as well as tea and coffee. There is Wi-Fi.

Three months ago, my daughter had scoliosis. I have only words of gratitude to the entire medical team and all hospital specialists. Thanks so much for everything!!!

On 6 November 2018, I underwent a colonoscopy and oral pandendoscopy. When undergoing the entire examination, the center’s staff was treating me very correctly.

Since childhood, I suffer from constipation, I have dolichosigma (the gut is longer than necessary). In recent years, my condition has become quite difficult – constant enemas, laxatives. Once it came even to obstruction. The gastroenterologist said that it is necessary to operate and the operation is complicated. My sister works in Spain, she advised to come to them for treatment. I was operated on in the surgical center ServiDigest (Barcelona). There were no large incisions – they were treated me by using microsurgical methods. Now I feel fine. There are no more constipations, there are no scars (thin strips, they are not visible).

Good and comprehensive advice. The clinic was received as long-awaited guests. All questions were answered. Willing to recommend to people. The only thing that is inconvenient is that there are no direct flights to the city of Palomna.

The clinic is one of the best in Europe, the attitude of the staff is excellent, the quality of examinations is excellent. The price is moderate, to be honest, not very expensive compared to other European countries

Our son came for treatment from Kazakhstan with a diagnosis of soft tissue sarcoma. During the entire treatment, we were accompanied by attentive and qualified staff. For a little over a year now, we have been visiting various pediatric doctors at the Corachan clinic with our 13-year-old daughter, she has autism and developmental disorders due to a deficiency of the Cdkl5 protein. The main visits are with Dr. Aledo, as well as with Dr. Alvarez, Neus Marie, with the Department of Traumatology with Dr. Peiro, Dr. Vilalta and Dr. Fontecha. All of them are professionals in their field, also very kind and sensitive people, besides, we see in their work clear and tangible results in the evolution of our girl. The director of the department, Adrian Trejo, is a very close and active person, always ready to help and support us. Our daughter was recently operated at the Corachan Clinic by a team of trauma surgeons on the spine, she has a double curve of 77 degrees in the dorsal region and 53 degrees in the lumbar region. An operation that was a success in every sense of the word, the entire medical team is distinguished by its professionalism, and we want many people to know about this department and their wonderful team. Our daughter’s scoliosis was completely cured. The girl no longer has pain, and on the third day after the operation she was already able to get out of bed a little, and a week later she even started walking with the physiotherapist Enric, singing songs. 🙂

We have cancer (neuroblastoma stage 4) it just so happened in life. With high-dose chemistry, we started having problems with the eyes, the optic nerves were damaged. We are shown a certain therapy so that in the future my daughter can see and navigate normally in space. In the pediatric department of the Corachan Clinic, we were examined and concluded that Mia had peripheral vision. It was necessary to quickly solve the problem. After the examination and the conclusion of ophthalmologists, measures were taken to restore vision, we were given the necessary recommendations, advice, and taught to train our eyes. Mia can see better! Since the child has problems with his eyes, he has problems with his back … in order to look at objects, Mia began to hunch over, we also asked for help in this matter. A physiotherapist has been working with Mia for a year now, a very good specialist, I always attend classes, I am amazed at the attitude towards my child and the professionalism of the guys who work with special children. We had a face-to-face consultation with the geneticist Susana Boronat in the pediatric department of the Corachan Clinic. The attention from the staff, the professionalism of the geneticist in the clarity and detail of answers to all the questions I asked, together with her caring, careful and sensitive attitude towards my son, as a small 6-year-old patient, gave a complete feeling of satisfaction and a desire to contact them for professional help and make recommendations to other potential patients!

After a failed surgery for a hiatal hernia and an emergency reoperation, I spent 33 days in intensive care in a serious condition. I want to express my huge gratitude to all the ICU staff — from the cleaners to the doctors.

Their humanity, empathy and professionalism helped me survive. To me they were ‘angels’ I will never forget.

The clinic is excellent in terms of equipment and service. My son has been monitored by neurology since birth, and there are no complaints about the doctors.

But it has become difficult to make an appointment: especially in dermatology and gynecology. Sometimes it is impossible to get a follow-up appointment, prescriptions expire, and one has to turn to other hospitals. Every year the situation with accessibility gets worse.

I underwent surgical intervention, and overall the process was very good: surgery, intensive care, nurses, food, administration.

The only thing that should be improved is informing the patient before the operation.

After the lens implantation surgery I feel severe burning in my eyes, watering and glare that prevent me from seeing clearly. Despite good results on the devices, in everyday life I see poorly, especially up close and at night.

At follow-up examinations they say that ‘everything is perfect’, but my real sensations are a deterioration of vision. I did not receive clear explanations or a solution to the problem. Very disappointed with the result of the surgery.

My mother was in the internal medicine department. I want to note the high level of professionalism and human attitude of the staff — from the doctor to the orderlies and the physiotherapist.

The childbirth experience was excellent. From the moment of admission the staff was very friendly and attentive. The dilation process went calmly under the constant supervision of doctors.

The birth went quickly and without pain. The baby and I received excellent care. During my stay at the clinic the attitude was very human and supportive.

No complaints about the doctors, but the organizational system is very weak. Almost always you have to wait for the appointment with a delay of an hour or more.

After the vision correction surgery I did not get the promised result. I have to continue wearing glasses and lenses. I was not warned about possible complications.

Many follow-up visits passed, but the problem remained. Very disappointed with the result.

The infrastructure is good, the equipment is modern, but the attitude towards patients is often formal and impersonal. Especially in sensitive departments such as oncology, there is a lack of an individual approach.

An experience with both positive and negative moments during my father’s hospitalization.

The positive: the intestine was successfully operated on using a minimally invasive method; beforehand the doctors jointly reviewed the test results and did not rush the decision. The nurses and doctors were friendly.

The negative: noisy rooms and doors; after the surgery a full dinner was brought by mistake when only liquids were allowed, and medications that had already been discontinued were administered twice.

The gallbladder was also removed without warning, which seemed excessive to us, although in conventional medicine this is a common procedure.

A family member was treated at this hospital, and we can only say good things about the doctors and nurses during the stay on site. For the first time I felt that doctors of different departments really communicate with each other. The only downside is that it is very difficult to resolve anything by phone, which is very annoying.

A very good experience related to taking a COVID test for returning to the UK. The whole process was clearly organized, information came by email, and the visit itself went smoothly. The staff was very friendly. Thank you.

I had to face breast cancer, and I was discouraged, knowing the methods and success of treatment in Ukraine. But a friend of mine said that they help people with a similar diagnosis abroad. I myself am not very good at searching on the Internet, so I asked my daughter to do it, who, after talking to several foreign clinics, chose Kiron Madrid. I don’t need a visa, we quickly bought tickets and I went to the clinic. In Madrid itself, I was met by the local coordinator, and at the clinic I was given an interpreter who was present during the communication with the doctors. The first few days were spent on an examination that confirmed the diagnosis, after which I was prescribed an operation to remove the tumor. I was scared, but the staff helped me keep my spirits up. The operation itself went well, fortunately no metastases were found and I did not need additional treatment. Now I’m home and feeling great. I will go for a second check-up with a local doctor soon. We thank the doctors of the Madrid clinic for helping me cope with such a terrible diagnosis. I hope the problem doesn’t come back again!

From a professional standpoint everything is fine, but the attitude toward the patient in the pediatric urology department is extremely unsatisfactory.

Because of the quarantine situation and the snowfall in Madrid, I discovered after the consultation that I had not been given a prescription for the medication. After several days of unsuccessful calls, I was told I had to come to the hospital in person on Wednesday evening.

They refused to send the prescription by email or any other means. After a repeat visit (I live on the other side of Madrid), I was again told to make an appointment.

Very disappointed with this attitude, especially considering that the mistake was not on my side.

There are both positive and very negative impressions. The main problems are related to staff shortages, which lead to long waits and periods when patients receive no attention.

The second problem is the overload of the “star” doctors, who see too many patients, resulting in lower quality consultations and possible errors.

They provided qualified help to my grandfather, he was diagnosed with colon cancer and was treated and now everything is fine. Great clinic!

If you are a foreign patient without insurance, I would not recommend this place. For a blood test and a scan they can charge about 500 euros. At the same time, the doctors and staff were friendly and professional.

In my youth, I got a severe skin burn. When 30 years later I felt sick and went for a diagnosis – I was told that it was stage 3 skin cancer, right there. I immediately decided to sign up for treatment in Spain. And my choice was right. I was treated and given a good prognosis. I was recently re-diagnosed after treatment – everything is fine.

The best clinic I’ve ever been to! And I had to visit many such establishments. Had DBS here to cure a tremor that has plagued me for half my life. The operation is complicated, you can’t trust anyone. And Kiron Madrid proved a long time ago that only the best doctors work here!

Three weeks ago I gave birth at this hospital. I could not have chosen a better place. The care of the specialists from the very first minute was incredible. The work of the midwives in the delivery ward and of all the staff on the floor was excellent. Very humane, caring attitude, a lot of patience and understanding in such a difficult and special moment.

Recently I came to have a blood test, a breast ultrasound and a thyroid ultrasound. Besides having to wait an hour for each procedure, almost all the staff who attended me were very rude, except for the young man who drew blood.
And today I went to the gynecological emergency department, waited two and a half hours, and there was no one in the gynecology office. In the end I left, because the shift change was approaching and no one even knew where the gynecologist was.

On December 3rd I was operated on at this hospital, and I have no words other than gratitude.
Special thanks to Dr. Paniso, who performed my colonoscopy and gastroscopy with incredible professionalism and care. And, of course, to Dr. Pedraza from the abdominal surgery department — he has golden hands… he saved my life. Thank you to him and his entire team. Don’t let him go, you very rarely meet doctors with such sensitivity and kindness.

In May 2024 I came for an initial consultation with Dr. Gutiérrez. He told me that I had arthritis in both knees and that in 15 years I might need prostheses on both knee joints. At that time he offered two options: surgery or hyaluronic acid injections, since the inner menisci were in very poor condition.
I chose meniscus surgery, which took place on September 13th. When my stitches were removed on the 25th, the doctor said I should already be walking without crutches. A month and a half after the surgery I began to feel tingling in my left foot and asked for an MRI, but I was told rather rudely that it was impossible.
A week later I went to another traumatologist at another clinic, who calmly explained to me that an MRI a month and a half after surgery would indeed not give a clear picture. At the end of October I again described my situation, and then I was finally prescribed an MRI.
On November 2nd I came for a consultation, and, without explaining anything and without even showing the results of the study, the doctor said he was ending further follow-up and offered hyaluronic acid injections. After that I went to three more hospitals, where I was told that a prosthesis was necessary.
Now I already have a left knee joint prosthesis — the surgery was performed in February this year. I twice contacted the patient services with complaints, but I was essentially told that if a prosthesis was placed, then there were reasons for it.
In the end, instead of living without a prosthesis for another fifteen years, as I was initially told, I received it just six months after the first surgery.

The hospital itself is good, but they need to provide internet access for patients and companions. For two years now they have been saying it exists, but by some coincidence it never works.
Nowadays it is hard to imagine a private hospital without such a service, especially for patients who stay here for a long time.

I was planning surgery and a consultation with Dr. Nogueira and his office. My nose needed significant tip lengthening. In the end I did not have surgery with this doctor.
The doctor stated that he has no policy on revision surgeries. The secretary became increasingly difficult to deal with. Instead of helping to address my concerns, she began to argue with me and made it difficult to reschedule the consultation date.
The doctor is unwilling to meet and discuss issues even if you come in person.
The cost of the surgery is 8,300 US dollars, excluding hospital stay expenses.

I am very pleased with the medical procedures performed here. The staff and doctors are very friendly, attentive and caring.

We were recently at the Vithas Aravaca University Hospital. Although the surgery itself went very well, the conditions of the stay and the attitude of part of the staff leave much to be desired for a private hospital.
Dirt accumulates in the wards under the beds, sofas and in other places. The cabinet doors were warped. There were no curtains at all — only hooks for them, so we constantly had to raise and lower the blinds. There are cracks everywhere on the walls. The bathroom window was poorly secured.
A week earlier we had accompanied a relative at another Quirón group hospital, and the difference was huge. I understand that this hospital is old, but periodic renovation is necessary.

It’s a pity that this hospital is no longer what it used to be.
They used to provide excellent service here, but now that is no longer the case. Entire teams of medical specialists are leaving here for a reason.
Delays have become a very common problem — waiting two hours has become commonplace. This creates an extremely unpleasant atmosphere in the waiting area: people shout at the staff, complain and get irritated.
The hospital does not warn in advance about delays, although it is perfectly aware of them. I want to thank the staff for their professionalism and good work, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about Vithas management.

I don’t give 5 stars only because of the administrative procedures before the surgery, which were poorly organized due to a lack of staff. They should hire more administrative employees.
The hospital has an open parking lot, the first 30 minutes are free. The cafeteria offers a set lunch for 13 euros. The TV in the room is free. The Wi-Fi works quite well. The in-patient food is rather poor.
I recommend the hospital.

Many modern computers no longer have disc drives, and in my case, as with other patients, there are problems viewing the studies. They only post the conclusion on the website, but what if I want to show the images to another specialist?
In addition, is it normal for a specialist to simultaneously hold appointments and work in the emergency department? I waited two and a half hours for the gynecologist appointment. For a private medical center this is unacceptable. At the very least, patients could be warned in advance.
Two hours thirty minutes of waiting… incredible.

I strongly recommend this hospital, as excellent specialists and staff work here. I have been to many hospitals around the world and I love coming here, because here I feel at home.
Making an appointment happens very quickly, and everything is organized perfectly.

A few weeks ago I gave birth by cesarean section. I want to thank my gynecologist, the midwives, anesthesiologists, orderlies and all the specialists who were by my side. Their humanity and attitude were wonderful.
The pediatricians are also excellent and took wonderful care of my baby.
However, the low rating is related to the work of the in-patient department. The gynecologist prescribed a treatment regimen for me, but it was not always followed.
There are very attentive and kind nurses and assistants, but overall I was dissatisfied. They did not bring me all the prescribed medications. Those who have undergone a cesarean section know how painful it is.
Several times I called the staff with the call button, but no one came or answered. They promised to bring medications and did not, or brought them too late.
I felt left without proper attention. I think the problem is in the organization of the work.

I was operated on on Thursday, and I had to stay at the hospital overnight. The surgical team was excellent.
However, after being transferred to the ward, the nurses and student trainees of the evening shift behaved as if the work or my questions bothered them.
In addition, despite the fact that I reported my food allergy, for dinner I was served a dish with that product. What would have happened if I had had an allergic reaction?
Also, many staff members in the cashier area were without masks and did not observe social distancing.

On Monday the 16th I had surgery in the afternoon. The traumatologist-surgeon and his entire team were exceptional. The surgery itself went quickly and successfully.
However, the work of the reception and the nurse in the recovery ward was terrible. The nurse wanted me to go to the toilet by myself after ankle surgery.
Post-operative information was practically absent, and the medication recommendations were incorrect. She couldn’t even explain how to give heparin injections.
Once home, I called the hospital several times with questions, but no one could give me answers.
It’s a great pity that after the surgeon’s excellent work such an impression remains. This experience is enough to choose a different hospital next time.

Despite the scheduled time, I had to wait 4 hours for a preliminary examination and also for arranging additional visits. The staff in the ENT department was polite. Already at the entrance one could feel a general stressful and tense atmosphere.

The delivery room and the postpartum department are excellent in terms of staff. Everyone was friendly and attentive.
However, the hygiene in the department leaves much to be desired: dirty corners in the bathroom, hair from the previous patient in the sink.

I received a lot of attention, very compassionate nurses and doctors, I was attended to quickly, they told me the tests would take 40 minutes. Everything was done much faster. I recommend this hospital, I have Adeslas insurance and no problems with payment. I hope I won’t be back here for a long time, hehehe.

Very good service. As with all hospitals, depending on the therapeutic area and depending on the time/day you visit the emergency department, you will have to wait longer or shorter. However, in general, it is very good: a wide selection of doctors, an appointment at the right time. The staff is friendly and takes care of everything.
The premises are clean, spacious and bright. I recommend.

In the trauma center, they paid a lot of attention, they treated me very well, they did all kinds of tests until they made a diagnosis. I had to wait a long time. But my 30-day treatment experience was generally positive. The doctor who treated me was very professional.

Every time I went for an examination or received my relatives, both doctors and nurses, assistants, and even cleaners, emergency managers, at the reception desk… EVERYONE treated us well. This was especially noticeable when there were convulsive moments with COVID. Therefore: THANK YOU for such attention and care in these difficult times.

Getting your eye test report should be a simple process, but the only way to get it – is to make another appointment. No help by phone, no messages by mail… This can be solved in a matter of minutes (electronic report!!!). And then they say that there is a long queue.
