Dr. Ahmet Demir is a well-known pediatric oncologist and oncohematologist in Turkey.

He has been workig at Ankara Memorial Hospital since 2014, where he treats children with various blood pathologies and performs bone marrow transplantation.

• Ahmet Demir studied and received his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Jerrahpasha University (1993-2000).
• Received specialization at the Department of Pediatric Oncology, Hacettepe University in Ankara (2000-2005)
• He completed his residency at the Institute of Oncology of Hacettepe University, Department of Pediatric Oncology (2005-2009), defended his Master’s thesis in Pediatric Oncology and received the title of Master of Science.
• Passed the exam for the title of Associate Professor on December 19, 2012 and received the title of Associate Professor in the specialty “Health and Diseases of Children”.
• In February 2020, he was appointed as a professor at Istanbul Gelishim University.

• Until 2008, he worked at the Siirt military hospital.
• From 2009 to 2014 worked at the Children’s Teaching and Research Hospital in Ankara.
• Since 2014, he has been a member of the highly qualified team of the Memorial Hospital.
