I had hair transplant with Dr Bircan on Jul 13th,2022. Overall I had a great experience. It's been one week after the procedure and I am very happy. The team provided excellent care before, during and after the procedure. Prior to the procedure, everything was explained, and after the team perform 8hrs of work non-stop. As the procedure was going, I knew they were taking care of me, and I felt very secure and confident. The day after the team did the wash and explained all the post-op care. Hello people, I just got my hair washed, the operation was yesterday. It was a smooth process. They did fue method 4600 graft, didn't really feel much pain and the Doctor Bircan and his team were very professional and helpful. After the operation they told me what to do and gave me information about the upcoming months, they also gave me lotions and shampoo. The transportation period and hotel were great as well.

Hello Karl here. A friend of mine recommended Doctor Bircan to me and I'm extremely pleased with the result. It's been six months and its amazing. They did sapphire fue method and did around 3000 grafts. The operation took around 6-7 hours and both Doctor Bircan and the team took good care of me, told me what should I do and etc. The hotel was pretty good for its price. How is hair transplantation performed at Bircan Clinic?

Typically, Dr. Sait Birkan’s clinic performs no more than 2-3 operations per day. Each specialist in the center has his own area of responsibility, so the transplant takes a little less time than the world average. However, Dr. Birkan prefers to give each patient a sufficient amount of attention. He operates personally, assisted by 4 nurses.

Preparation for hair transplantation is simple. You need to do blood tests – general and for infections (HIV, syphilis, hepatitis). The operation is performed under local anesthesia. You will not experience any discomfort during the transplant process.

Immediately after surgery, the patient can go to their hotel room and rest. A day later he needs to undergo a post-operative examination. If there are no signs of complications, the patient’s bandage is changed, he is given recommendations on hair care, provided with care products (shampoos and lotions) and sent home. Further observation and consultations are carried out online.

Scientific activity of Sait Bircan

In 2008, Dr. Sait Birkan conducted laboratory research with Prof. Ayhan Bilir at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, focusing on the field of stem cells, tissue transplantation and hair histology.

In 2009, his research focused on hormonal imbalances, and the results were presented in an article at a medical congress in Antalya.

In 2015, Dr. Sait Birkan developed an innovative hair transplant tool that made it possible to perform the procedure on unshaved hair.

In 2017 he took part in the ISHRS Congress in Prague, and in 2019 in the Thailand Congress of the ISHRS Association.
