I had hair transplant with Dr Bircan on Jul 13th,2022. Overall I had a great experience. It's been one week after the procedure and I am very happy. The team provided excellent care before, during and after the procedure. Prior to the procedure, everything was explained, and after the team perform 8hrs of work non-stop. As the procedure was going, I knew they were taking care of me, and I felt very secure and confident. The day after the team did the wash and explained all the post-op care. Hello people, I just got my hair washed, the operation was yesterday. It was a smooth process. They did fue method 4600 graft, didn't really feel much pain and the Doctor Bircan and his team were very professional and helpful. After the operation they told me what to do and gave me information about the upcoming months, they also gave me lotions and shampoo. The transportation period and hotel were great as well.

Hello Karl here. A friend of mine recommended Doctor Bircan to me and I'm extremely pleased with the result. It's been six months and its amazing. They did sapphire fue method and did around 3000 grafts. The operation took around 6-7 hours and both Doctor Bircan and the team took good care of me, told me what should I do and etc. The hotel was pretty good for its price. They welcomed me from the airport and dropped me there also when its time to go back. Emir is the man, he helped me in every possible way and answered all my questions. You can just entrust yourself to these people, they are good at what they do.

Education and professional activities

2010 – continued his academic career at the Department of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Cambridge, England.
2012 – New York Presbyterian Hospital, training in general surgery. Started working in the field of hair transplantation in Istanbul, working with leading Turkish doctors, members of the Turkish Medical Association.
2011 – performed organ transplants such as liver and pancreas at Addenbroke’s Hospital in England. He worked in the Department of General Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical School of Cornell and Columbia Universities in New York, USA, with experienced professors of international recognition.
2014 – expanded the scope of its services to include the departments of medical aesthetics and hair stem cell transplantation. Became a doctor by international standards thanks to the lessons he received in Japan on stem cells and their effect on transplants. This has contributed significantly to improving his procedures by supporting root stem cell transplantation in hair transplant surgeries.
2017 – appointed head of the hair transplantation department at Levent Hospital.
2020 – in addition to hair transplantation, he continues research into scalp diseases.
2021 – in the JCI accredited hospital, FUE, DHI hair transplant surgeries are performed on an average of 3 patients per day, in accordance with international standards.

Scientific activity

2008 – conducted laboratory research with Professor Ayhan Bilir in the field of stem cells, tissue transplantation and hair histology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine.
2009 – researched hormonal imbalance and presented the results in an article at a medical congress in Antalya.
2015 – developed a new tool for hair transplantation, which made it possible to transplant unshaven hair.
2017 – attended the ISHRS Congress in Prague.
2019 – took part in the Thai Congress of the ISHRS Association.
