For almost a year, I received chemotherapy for a stage 3 malignant bowel tumor. I join all patient reviews about the “Helena” clinic. I would like to note not only the high professional level and clear organization of the work of all medical staff, but also their human qualities: mutual understanding, tact, empathy. For them, we are not people to whom fate has already passed its “sentence”, but patients for whom it is possible and necessary to fight. In November 2013, I was in Savonlinna for breast reconstruction surgery. Dr. Helena performed the surgery and organized my stay in Savonlinna. I would like to express my immense gratitude to her personally and to everyone who participated in the surgery, postoperative period, and organization. I liked everything, from consultations in Russia to my stay at the hospital in Finland. Everything was carried out at a high professional level with an understanding of female psychology during such a difficult period. I am very glad that I chose Helena for my surgery. I contacted the “Helena” clinic in August 2014 for surgical treatment of breast cancer and chemotherapy. This is the only clinic that agreed to perform the surgery immediately; other clinics in St. Petersburg, Germany, and Spain offered to start treatment with chemotherapy (as there was a lump larger than 5 cm). The surgery was performed by surgeon Helena Puonti, a very professional specialist with extensive experience, and as a person – responsive, kind; after contacting her, you want to live, you get charged with positive energy. The surgery lasted several hours, I didn’t even feel coming out of anesthesia, I fell asleep, woke up, easily got up and went to the ward myself. Everything is at the highest level. I am also very satisfied with the chemotherapy. Before administering the medication, drugs for side effects are given, and after the procedure, I feel good. The clinic has a coordinator – Olga Konovalova, who helps with all problems.
My impression of the clinic is very good, everything is very clean; Helena is very friendly, a true professional. I felt great confidence that my surgery would be performed with high quality. I could ask any questions and receive detailed answers thanks to the clinic staff Olga and Ivanna.
