• Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University. Started practicing general surgery at the Government Hospital in 2013.

• From 2013 to 2016, he worked at Ataköy Hospital, where he gained extensive experience in the field of surgery.
• After that, he worked for two years at the Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul.
• Since 2019 he has worked at Derindere Hospital.
• In 2021 he joined the team of Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital.
• He performed operations in the field of general surgery and surgery for obesity and diabetes, including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass and biliary diversion.

• Most articles are published in international peer-reviewed journals and deal with various aspects of breast and gastrointestinal cancers (stomach, colon, pancreas) including diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. There are also articles on appendectomy, gallbladder disease and surgical techniques such as laparoscopy.
• He has published in both international and national journals.

• Dr. Ucuncu has presented research at international conferences on topics such as acute pancreatitis, breast cancer and abdominal trauma.
