One of the best coordinators, my mom got sick and made terrible diagnoses. Dr. Konstantin organized everything clearly quickly and comfortably in a few days . For us, everything was organized to the smallest detail, starting with the daily transfer and ending with the delivery of medicines to the hotel, since we ourselves did not have time to go to the pharmacy. He was always available and we are very thankful to him for all these services!

Dr. Konstantin and Experts Medical have been a great help in the way to treat my father’s prostate cancer. They found me the best treatment option for my father which is doing SBRT (a type of advanced radiotherapy) using an MR-LINAC machine. Almost an year ago I got an incredible help from Dr. Natalia. From the moment I arrived, the local team made me feel well cared for. A special thanks goes to Tsira, the invited translator, who was truly exceptional. She helped me tremendously by organizing my appointments, resolving scheduling issues, and ensuring I could see many doctors on time. Without her dedication, I would not have been able to complete so many consultations efficiently.

I also want to sincerely thank Tamar Melashvili, Natia, and all the Georgian staff at Acıbadem. They went above and beyond in every aspect. These are remarkable professionals who are not only skilled but also deeply compassionate. Their kindness and dedication were the highlight of my experience.

Challenges Faced
Unfortunately, my initial arrangements through external providers in Georgia were very disappointing. Nothing was properly planned when I arrived, not even my appointments with doctors were scheduled. The local hospital staff themselves were surprised by the lack of preparation.

The DGS provider team did not assist me properly. They rarely gave clear answers, often failed to organize transfers or doctor visits, and never informed me in advance about preparations needed for tests. Because of this, what should have been a 2-3 day medical check-up turned into 4–5 days, disrupting my plans. Without the incredible help of the local Georgian staff at Acıbadem, my tests and consultations might have stretched to 10 days or more.

Recommendation
For anyone planning to come to Acıbadem for a check-up, I strongly recommend contacting the hospital directly and avoiding third-party providers. The official hospital team is professional, organized, and genuinely cares about patients.

Conclusion
Despite the challenges caused by external service providers, my overall experience at Acıbadem Hospital was excellent thanks to the local Georgian team. They are an invaluable asset to the hospital, and I am truly grateful for their support.

Everything about the place is nice, but the prices are very high. In the end, this is the healthcare sector, and it feels like if you don’t have money, you’re not meant to receive treatment.

I would like to sincerely thank you for your attention and concern during my visit to your hospital. Thanks to the help I have received, as well as the pleasant hospital staff and wonderful nurses, I feel much better now.

I addressed to the Medicana hospital. The translator met me, so there are no language barriers. The first time I signed up for a consultation with a gynecologist-reproductologist Selman Lacinu. He wins someone’s favour immediately. He is very neat in inspection. He offers a variety of treatment options based on your wishes and material capabilities. Very competent doctor! After consultation with him, I immediately decided on IVF. We arrived with my spouse on the next day. The professor himself conducts the whole cycle. Hello, this is the first time I have been examined at this clinic. I want to say that the ophthalmologist explained everything in a very friendly and intelligible way. He really knows his job. Let someone say that heart valve replacement is already an ordinary operation.
But knowing the cases when it ended with serious complications, I decided to play it safe and chose a clinic with an excellent reputation – Yeditepe University Hospital. The hospital itself is located on a pretty territory, with a small garden. This, of course, is my subjective opinion, but according to the quality of the operation and the care of hospital staf, I really appreciated the staff working there.

Hip replacement is a very difficult operation, specially when you are 55 years old. However, my daughter said that I had nothing to fear at Yeditepe Hospital. She accopmanied my in this hospital. It was pleasantly surprised that we were met there and taken directly to the hospital. We were even assigned an escort, or rather a coordinator. After taking all the necessary pictures and passing the necessary tests, I underwent the operation. But I cannot say that rehabilitation was as difficult as I expected. After all, literally after 2 weeks I was able to move around calmly. My daughter was very happy that I recovered so fast. And what?! You also need to play with your grandchildren!

I underwent a complex surgery of spinal cord tumor remuval at Yeditepe University Hospital last November. I just want to leave a review about this place. Our daughter was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer aged 18. In the UK she was told to make memories and given 6 to 14 months. Not good enough.! So after much research and speaking to people, IOZK in Cologne, Germany caught our attention and thank God it did. We made an appointment and met Professor Stefaan Van Gool who explained the ethos and procedures to us and offered us a plan which made complete sense. We never once thought we could beat this disease, but we did give it a real fight and this was undoubtably down to the kindness and expert medical knowledge and care given to Laura by IOZK.

Unfortunately, the cancer did win in the end as we knew it would, but Laura lived for nearly 5 years post diagnosis. I believe this was down to IOZK who are at least 5 years ahead of anything being done in the UK to treat Glioblastomas. Laura believed this too and she always felt better after returning from treatment. Having read some of the previous reviews I think it should be pointed out that IOZK is governed strictly and is not allowed to make profit, it has to break even and plough the money back into research. I would also like to add that even though Laura was under the supervision of many consultants in the UK, it was the straight forward advice and help we received from Professor Van Gool which we valued the most. IOZK was singularly the best decision we made in trying to help our daughter fight cancer.

The therapy is very solid and understandable. My thanks go to the entire medical team and to Mr. Altuntas, who looked after me very well during the treatment. I felt good here. Keep your positive attitude!

A calming and indeed promising alternative for those who want to boldly go their own way…!

I have been in treatment at the IOZK for quite some time and feel very well looked after in this practice. The therapy is not standard and requires thinking, which may not be the right thing for everyone. In any case, I found a contact person I trusted there, and I can only rate my experience as positive.

I have been here for 5 years now but the health care and doctor has changed a lot. It is better since a few months ago. I feel more comfortable now. Thanks a lot!
