Greetings to all, on February 12, 2016, I had an operation to remove the L2 schwannoma, the result exceeded even the wildest expectations! I am very grateful to the doctors and medical staff for their professionalism and care, I want to express special gratitude to Fatih Khan Bölyukbashy, a neurosurgeon, thanks to their equipment and the technique used, I have all the reflexes and full sensitivity, two days after the operation I rather confidently moved in the corset, after a month they allowed I am ready to begin my work, I am very glad that I went to this clinic. How does the ICSI method in IVF work for successful fertilization at Memorial Sisli Hospital?

Sisli Memorial: IVF ICSI IVF is an assisted reproduction method that is used for male fertility problems or other cases where the classic IVF method is ineffective. ICSI is one of the most successful methods of assisted reproduction.

The ICSI procedure is carried out as follows:

Preparation of eggs. The patient undergoes ovarian stimulation with hormone therapy to obtain multiple mature eggs. The eggs are then removed from the ovaries by puncture.
Sperm collection from a man. This can be done naturally or microsurgically.
Fertilization of eggs by ICSI. The best spermatozoa are selected in the laboratory under a microscope. The sperm is then injected into the egg using a microscopic needle.
Cultivation of embryos. Fertilized eggs are placed in a special incubator with optimal conditions for temperature, humidity, and gas composition. The embryologist controls the quality and speed of embryo development for several days (usually 3-5 days). Cultivation of embryos provides optimal conditions for their development to the stage when they are ready for transfer to the uterus of a woman.
Transfer of embryos into the uterus of a woman. This happens with the help of a thin catheter, which delivers one or more embryos (usually no more than two) through the cervix into the uterine cavity.
