Diagnosis: Glaucoma

Treated glaucoma in Assuta. I want to note right away that there are no template treatment protocols, an individual approach to each patient. Since I had an unsuccessful operation in my homeland, I needed microsurgical intervention, the laser in my case would not be effective. By the end of the day I began to see better, soreness, photosensitivity and other postoperative symptoms disappeared quickly.

Sent the test results to Dr. Adiel Barak. He reassured me, said that the operation can be delayed, the progression of glaucoma can be slowed down with the help of medications and physiotherapy. But I need to start treatment faster, so I will soon go to the Ichilov clinic.

Diagnosis: cataract + glaucoma

Recently, my mother (she is 70 years old) had a double operation for the treatment of cataracts and glaucoma in Assuta. Everything went well, no problems. We spent only a day in the hospital, she feels well.

I could entrust the treatment of glaucoma in a child only to Israeli specialists. I was advised by Khaim Stolovich. Very satisfied with the choice. He is an excellent specialist, he was able to restore my son’s sight.

Diagnosis: Glaucoma

Six months ago, I began to be disturbed by pain in my left eye. At first, I did not attach any importance to this, because in older people such unpleasant symptoms are quite common. But a month ago, the pain suddenly became unbearable. I went to an ophthalmologist at our local clinic, and after the examination, I heard a disappointing diagnosis – angle-closure glaucoma, an acute attack.

Of course, they saved me from terrible pain – drops were dripping, injections were pricked. But the doctor said that only surgery would solve the problem. I was afraid to have surgery, because at my age the recovery period will take quite a long time, but I decided to find out about other methods of treatment.

My daughter helped me find a suitable alternative – she found for me the Ichilov Medical Center in Israel, where angle-closure glaucoma is treated with a laser. A week later I arrived at the clinic, in just one day I underwent a complete ophthalmological examination and was ready for surgery. I was scheduled for a laser iridectomy. I was surprised how quickly and accurately the Israeli doctors work – the operation took only a few minutes. At the same time, I did not experience any discomfort, and the result exceeded all expectations – the pain does not bother me, and I can again lead a normal life.
