The hospital is very good, the team is very professional. I had a very complicated surgery but in the best conditions. The knowledge, interest and experience of the medical team is really good, I can't find anything to say bad about the care services, almost all the time 3-4 people are taking care of the patient at the same time and very dedicated. This was a place I knew of before, but as a patient this is my first time here. I would like to thank all of my doctors and the staff that took care of me.

All the tests and results were ready very quickly, and in 2 days we had a final consultation with a diagnosis and a plan of further action. The interpreter was also very helpful in translating and navigating. As an international patient, I am very satisfied.

The marrow transplant was performed for free. The physical facilities of the hospital are also of high quality.

It is the most successful place in the world for bone marrow transplantation. May God grant healing to all patients.

I am from Ethiopia. My relative was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer — mixed phenotype acute leukemia.
At first he was diagnosed with AML in Ethiopia, but at Aster CMI, after additional tests (bone marrow biopsy, cytometry, etc.), the diagnosis was refined as MPAL.

This is a rare and complex type of cancer.
The patient underwent 2 courses of chemotherapy following the UKALL2003 and FLAG-IDA protocols, and then a bone marrow transplant from a sister donor (100% match).

He was hospitalized for about a month in the transplant unit.
The transplant was successful, without complications.

We are grateful to Dr. Anoop and the entire team for the care, support, and professionalism.
Thanks to them, the patient beat cancer and is returning home healthy.

I visited Medicana Hospital in Beylikduzu, and overall it is a very good clinic — large, well-organized, and professional. Professor Yener, a hematologist, is truly excellent at his work. He is highly competent and carefully monitors the patient's condition step by step. The hospital also has a translation team that works wonderfully, especially Rama, the translator. She does not just translate but also helps, gives advice, and significantly facilitates all procedures within the hospital. She also coordinates appointments with the doctor and other organizational matters, thanks to which the entire process goes very smoothly. Honestly, my communication with the hospital was mostly through her, and she was extremely supportive. The only drawback is the very high prices. Without insurance, it is almost impossible to pay. My advice — get tests done outside the hospital, but follow-up monitoring and consultations are best done at Medicana, because both the doctors and the translation team are truly at a high level. 02/10/2025

Before going to Professor Yener Koc, be sure to get a second, and preferably a third, opinion. 10 years ago, we approached him in Antalya with my father's diagnosis — non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma. Without any consideration, he immediately said that my father's stomach had to be removed and scheduled the surgery date. The next day, we consulted another hematology professor, who explained that this was a medically very incorrect and dangerous approach, that for such lymphomas, removing the stomach directly puts the patient at risk, and that the proper treatment is chemotherapy. My father underwent treatment based on the second opinion and recovered completely after about a year. Had we followed the first advice, it is unknown whether he would still be alive today. Even if he had survived, he would have had to live without a stomach and on a large amount of medication. This experience showed us that even if a doctor holds the title of "professor," it does not mean that every decision he makes is correct. Especially in matters of life and death, one cannot rely on the opinion of a single specialist — it is essential to consult other doctors. It is also worth searching for previously published, but now removed from the internet, information about unsuccessful bone marrow transplant cases involving this doctor. 27/01/2026

In August 2018, I made an appointment for weight loss, elevated ESR and other symptoms. The first visit went well and the necessary tests were scheduled. When the results came back, he recommended a follow-up visit, which I made an appointment for. However, despite my desire to discuss the results in person, I was asked to show the results to his secretary first. I insisted on the appointment and was still admitted and scheduled for a biopsy. Everything went fine. Three days later, I came in with a quick question that would only take 10 seconds. I called to make an appointment for a follow-up appointment, but there were no spots available. When I got to the clinic, I wasn't even admitted for the short question. I explained that I was also a doctor and wanted to ask the question directly. However, there were complications and I was extremely dissatisfied. I do not recommend him from either a professional or deontological point of view.

Our family has known Dr. Gulyuz since 2013. Then we visited her at the Medical Park clinic for a bone marrow transplant. A couple of years ago, we also had a consultation at the Acibadem medical center, as my son had changes in his tests. She prescribed medication and everything went back to normal.

During the examination, the professor found symptoms of another illness in my child (son was 18 months old at the time) and referred us to the appropriate specialist. Early diagnosis made it possible to achieve a good prognosis for our boy. If Dr. Gulyuz Ozturk hadn't noticed bad results in the tests, it might have been too late in a few months! I thank her wholeheartedly.

Due to severe anemia in my 1.5-year-old son, we turned to a pediatric hematologist referred by our pediatrician. We arranged a meeting with Professor Gulyuz Ozturk and examined our son. The examination was very informative, we were diagnosed. Our disease is hereditary spherocytosis. Gulyuz herself is very friendly and sincere. We are very grateful to her. It's good that there are such people.

Dr. Fredi Aviv has been treating my father for the past few years for true polycythemia. He is punctual, knowledgeable about new treatments, friendly, always optimistic but will be honest with you about what your prospects are. He is never rushed and is always helpful even on the toughest days. He has offered us different treatment options and has always been honest about what works. One of the best doctors we have seen.

My son was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. First treated in the hospital in his city: Then the child went through several courses of chemotherapy and radiotherapy in Prague. A year later, however, a relapse occurred. After an initial request to the Assuta Clinic, I was contacted and all organizational issues were resolved. Upon arrival, Dr. Fredi Aviv scheduled an examination and, based on the results, determined the treatment course: chemotherapy with stem cell transplantation. After the lymphoma treatment, immunotherapy was additionally performed. My son recovered, there were no exacerbations.

After treatment in Krasnodar, remission of myeloma lasted exactly six months. This is very little, so I did not want to be treated here again. I turned to Israeli specialists at the Assuta Clinic in Tel Aviv. The treatment lasted 7.5 months, each course of 6 weeks. I got a complete response to the therapy.

It has been four years of fighting leukemia. There were temporary improvements after chemotherapy, but then the condition deteriorated again. Eventually metastases were discovered in the liver and lymph nodes, and it became clear that the situation was becoming critical. We carefully considered where to go and eventually chose a clinic abroad. We received feedback from the Ichilov Clinic through an online application via the website. In Israel, in addition to chemotherapy, they prescribed radiation and targeted therapy, immunomodulators. Now I am in remission, looking forward to the future with hope.

Never get sick! But if you do - the hematology department at Ichilov is excellent, with a great attitude toward patients, patients and subjects. I am in awe of Prof. Irit Avivi, who combines knowledge, skill, empathy and sensitivity in her practice.

My son has been suffering from Anemia for 6 months. I went to different hospitals and doctors for his treatment and medications however I did not get enough positive results. Recently, I got to know about Dr. Levin Dror, an experienced doctor at Sourasky hospital. I read a lot about him from anemia patients therefore I decided to book an appointment with him for my son's treatment. He treated my son and the results were miraculous. We came for our daughter's treatment in Israel on March 31, 2013. Our lead treating physician is Dr. Levin. We call him "Dr. Levin-shalom shalom.")) He says hello like that. My daughter had a very serious situation. After examination and confirmation of the diagnosis (Ewing's sarcoma) the doctor told us straight - a matter of life and death. But Dror Levin did not refuse, but took up the cause. High-quality treatment was carried out. And after almost a year we went home. For all doctors and for Dr. Levin our daughter is a miracle, they say so. Dr. Levin is a very professional doctor, a kind attentive person. We are always happy to meet him. Now we come to Israel for checkups. When the doctor announces to us good news about the tests, he is very pleased, very happy, and my daughter and I say in one voice - "Baruch Hashem ani nachom". In Hebrew it means "Thank God, I'm still breathing." It's a popular Hebrew expression. Dr. Levin is always so happy to hear it from us, and even in his native language, that he calls all the doctors and nurses to repeat it)). So according to Dr. Levin's expression - the daughter has everything "perfect", and Dasha - "miracle".)))) I hope this doesn't need to be translated. In 2011 my daughter was diagnosed with oncology in Russia. We came to Israel for treatment and got treated by Dr. Levin. The doctor repeatedly checked the correctness of the diagnosis before starting treatment. He is very responsible and serious about his work. It turned out that the Moscow doctors were wrong with the diagnosis. I am even afraid to imagine what would have happened if God had not sent us our favorite doctor. Our treatment was long and difficult, there were moments when we had to make a quick and correct decision. And here the doctor was always on top of things. The only right solution was always found. And what is important for a doctor - he is never indifferent to his patients. My daughter Alexandra has sincerely loved Dr. Levin. When we meet for check-ups she likes to hang on his neck or just sit next to him. The baby feels like she is in good hands and the doctor will not let her get hurt by a nasty disease. We will be visiting our doctor again as the treatment is still ongoing. And I am sure of success!!! I would like to wish the Doctor and his whole family good health!!! More would be such professional and kind doctors!
