I came here as a foreigner to undergo a full one-day women’s health screening package. Although the examinations were quite thorough and booking via WhatsApp was convenient, the overall hospital experience was disappointing.
There is no initial consultation here, no one reviews your medical history. I believe this is crucial information for a complete examination and the correct interpretation of results. So I was very surprised by the absence of an initial consultation.
I was prescribed medications without even being asked which drugs I already take. Nor was I given any instructions on how long to take them or what time of day.
During visits to various specialists, most doctors gave me only a few minutes. It felt like I was simply being rushed through a series of examinations, with no time left for questions or useful recommendations. I specifically chose this package because it included consultations in the areas that concerned me, yet most of my questions went unanswered unless they related directly to the results of a specific test.
During one appointment I was told outright that if I wanted additional advice from the doctor, I would have to pay for a repeat consultation.
Be aware that if any further follow-up is needed, you will most likely be referred to a narrow specialist for an additional fee — even for minor matters that could have been explained right away.
Foreigners expecting detailed explanations and a comprehensive approach should be cautious. This is far from the in-depth, personalized experience that is promised.

He helped us with all the paperwork and department registrations and liaised with the doctors on our behalf. We couldn’t have managed without him. Six days ago I had surgery. For the first four days I was not allowed to eat or drink, then I was permitted liquid food. Up to that point everything was fine, but after that the staff turned out to be so indifferent that they would bring food to the room at half past five in the morning and leave immediately. The only thing you could eat was a flour soup, but by the time you come round a little, it has already gone ice-cold.
When I asked them to reheat it, I got the reply: “We can’t reheat it.” Then you ask for a new one, and they tell you they will only bring it together with lunch. Such chaos is completely out of keeping with the level of this hospital.
I don’t even want to talk about the meals for companions. I’ll just say one thing briefly: good specialists and friendly nurses.

On 11.03.2024 I had gastric reduction surgery performed by Professor Dr. Mehmet Tahir Oruç. More than six weeks have passed, and I simply must leave this review to thank him and his wonderful team, including Afef and Zahid from Right Choice Home or Away, for a very important period in my life.
Before, during and after the operation they were incredibly attentive and constantly supported me. The medical staff were also superb. The hospital stay deserves a 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, attentiveness and professionalism.

First of all I would like to thank Professor Dr. Alper Demirbas, who performed the kidney transplant. Professor Alper Demirbas is a very compassionate, attentive and professional doctor with an impeccable attitude toward patients. He explained the entire process in detail and answered all my questions. As a foreigner who had never undergone medical procedures outside my own country, it was very important to me that Professor Alper Demirbas and his professional team made the whole process simple and clear.
Special thanks to the wonderful support team:
Aziza helped me from the very beginning of the process, interpreting, accompanying me to appointments and helping with the necessary documents. She is a true professional and knows her job perfectly. She did far more than required, which helped me feel calmer.
Madina helped me during the evening shifts. She accompanied me after the operation, helped voice my requests, interpreted and explained the further stages of treatment. She is a true professional with great compassion for patients.
Gulsum accompanied me at the initial and follow-up visits, helping with interpretation and finding my way around the hospital.
I thank the staff and medical workers of block A-7 who took part in my postoperative care.

We recently had to stay at Medical Park hospital in Antalya due to an emergency medical situation during our holiday. I want to note that the treatment itself was very good and fast. The doctors and nurses acted promptly and provided the necessary help, for which we are grateful.
The room was disappointing. It was very small, cramped and stuffy, with no proper space for the family. My husband had to sleep on the floor, as an extra bed was not provided. We were told they would try to find a second bed, but we never received any news and nothing was arranged.
Later at night I needed to have blood tests done, but I couldn’t turn on the light because our child was asleep. I went into the next room and was surprised to see a bed there that was unused throughout our entire stay.
There was also no bedding for my son, who had to sleep without proper linens. The food was poor quality, and the child was not provided with any food at all.
On the positive side, I want to mention the Russian interpreter Kamil and another member of staff who helped us the next day. They were professional, kind and very helpful.
Unfortunately, the English interpreter Rabia was extremely unprofessional and rude. She often raised her voice, left before the conversation was over, did not allow us to learn her full name and did not translate a significant part of what the medical staff said.
After discharge we found numerous errors in the discharge documents, including mistakes in nationality, the date the symptoms appeared and the general description of my condition. We had to push for corrections. In addition, the bills were provided only a week later.
It is also worth noting that for one night’s stay we paid about 2000 euros. This included medications, two ultrasounds, two blood tests and a specialist consultation. I consider this amount too high given the level of comfort, the room conditions and the quality of the food.
While I appreciate the quality and speed of the medical care, the lack of basic comfort, the communication problems and the rude behavior of the English interpreter made this experience far harder than it should have been.

I would like to thank you all for your help and endless care for my mother. Recently we brought her to the Gynecologic Oncology Center at Medical Park Antalya, where she underwent surgery to remove uterine cancer.
I would especially like to thank Professor Dr. Mehmet Karaca, who operated on my mother and cared for her. Thanks to his precise treatment planning, my mother recovered quickly.
I also thank the postoperative ward nurses Esra Cipdem and Hatice Nur Karatas for their endless help and care. They were incredibly kind and did far more than required, supporting my mother both physically and emotionally.
Our interpreter Zulfiya Khanum was also very helpful and remained available 24/7. Even after we returned home, she helped arrange doctors’ consultations and feedback.
Finally, I want to thank Hamida Garayeva, who helped organize the treatment and the trip from Uzbekistan to Antalya and supported us during this difficult time.

Hello! I was a patient at Medical Park in May 2023. I had a facelift performed by Professor Cemal Firat.
The hospital itself and the surgeon were good. However, after I left Turkey 10 days after the operation, a week later I contacted the team to arrange a video consultation with the doctor to monitor my recovery, as I had questions about rehabilitation.
I received a reply from Sarita Singh, my coordinator, that someone would contact me. However, a month passed and no one ever got in touch with me.
This is an unprofessional approach. There was no postoperative follow-up. After I left Turkey, no one from the hospital or customer support contacted me to check on my condition.

I am from Poland and came to Antalya for a holiday that ended with a stay in this hospital. I was brought here with unexplained abdominal and back pain, my condition was very serious, I couldn’t even walk. My hemoglobin level dropped to 7.
The medical staff immediately began performing numerous examinations to find the cause. I can say that they saved my life. I was in the general surgery department, and the head doctor was very professional, giving me all the information about my health.
I was given a blood transfusion and also received large amounts of medication and antibiotics intravenously. My hemoglobin rose to 10, and my life was no longer in danger.
There were also interpreters who helped me communicate with the doctors and other staff who did not speak English at a sufficient level. Both the interpreters and the nurses were very kind and friendly, always finding time to talk, explain the situation and even support me in the hardest moments.
This is the complete opposite of what I saw in Polish hospitals, so I was genuinely impressed.
Additional pluses: clean rooms, new medical equipment and a beautiful view from the hospital windows 😊 — practically the only thing left of my holiday.
To sum up, everything was done professionally, and my condition was brought from critical to stable, which allowed me to return to Poland on time.

We came from the UK for a short holiday, and our daughter needed an urgent medical examination. We managed to get an appointment for the evening of the next day.
On arrival we were already expected, and we were provided with a very friendly and responsive interpreter. In less than an hour our daughter had an ECG and an ultrasound examination by one of the professor-doctors, who turned out to be a very professional and competent specialist.

Today we had an appointment with a Gastroenterologist with my son. Everything is fine, a Russian translator was immediately provided, insurance was asked, everything is fine, we are satisfied, we paid 126 lira for insurance (80% of coverage). We need an endoscopy, they said everything will be sorted out with the insurance company and they will write to us, appoint a day for the examination. I’m satisfied, we’ll see how it goes. Gastroenterologist Erhan Alkan, excellent doctor. I found him on a recommendation, so I went to this hospital. Thank you for the promptness in service for smiles and attention to us.
