Dr. Cem Mesçi, who performed my surgery, was incredibly skilled and reassuring throughout the whole process. His expertise and calm demeanor immediately put me at ease, and the results of the operation exceeded my expectations.

The transition service from the airport to the clinic and back was seamless and very well organized, which made the whole experience stress-free, especially as a patient coming from abroad.

I came in for a rhinoplasty and I feel that, despite the language barrier, I was well taken care of. The nurses were attentive, and I really liked my room and bathroom. Everything I needed was there, and it was spacious.

My nurses were lovely, although I wish I could understand what they were saying most of the time, because I was nervous and on my own. The only other issue was the long wait. My surgery was scheduled for 10 a.m., but it was delayed until 11:15 when I was wheeled in for anesthesia (the nurses were soooo sweet about it). I stopped eating at 11 p.m. the night before, and my surgery didn’t start until 11:15 a.m., which meant I was starving all morning, which made me even more anxious, and I was never given my epilepsy medication at the time I told them (at 12:00).

We came for the first time in December, and I still haven’t seen any other hospital better than Memorial Bahçelievler Hastanesi. Very organized, they can offer you the comfort any other hospital would offer. The staff was amazing, very kind and responsive — from the receptionist, the interpreters (I must mention Ola and Elena), the nurses, the doctors and the professors — the whole staff is the best! I sincerely recommend Memorial Hospital Bahçelievler in Istanbul. My father was misdiagnosed with cancer both in my home country of Uzbekistan and at another hospital in Turkey. When I showed the MRI results to Dr. Melih Bozkurt, he reviewed them with great professionalism and said there was a 70% probability that it was not cancer. After further MRI and ultrasound examinations and surgery, it became clear that he was right — it was a different illness, not cancer.

We stayed at Memorial Hospital for two weeks, and during that time we received excellent care and service. The medical staff was very professional, attentive and extremely kind to the patient.

I am very satisfied with my doctor and your services, but even though I am a chemotherapy patient, every time I come in for chemotherapy I am charged a fee called a “procedure,” whereas in private hospitals chemotherapy is provided free of charge — the state pays for it. When I asked about this, I was told that the state only covers the cost of the medication, and we charge for the procedure. Since I cannot perform the procedure myself and pay for it, I consider charging a procedure fee at your hospital to be unjust enrichment.

I once went to the pediatrics department because of my son’s fever. Everything was clean and well organized. The staff’s behavior was good and respectful. As for their medical knowledge — I can’t give a specific opinion yet, because I wasn’t very involved. It was just a fever, they did a COVID test and gave us some medication. I didn’t receive any special service that would allow me to judge further.

But what I really didn’t like about this hospital is that even for five minutes of parking you have to pay 120 lira, whereas hospital parking lots are usually free. In addition, the consultation fee was 6,000 lira, and my son’s COVID test was 3,000 lira.

We came to Istanbul from America for a VIP women’s check-up at this hospital. Because of the reviews and popularity, we had high expectations, and I am happy to say they were exceeded. All our questions were addressed, and the tests were VERY thorough. Our interpreter/guide Kardelen made the experience even better. She was so friendly and responsive. I can’t say enough good things about Kardelen and the hospital experience.

Because of the surgery my father underwent, we spent one night at the hospital on 12/05/2025. Many thanks to the floor staff, our nurses, the IBB department staff and especially our doctor Kadir Serkan Orhan. BUT THERE IS A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM IN THE PATIENT ADMISSIONS DEPARTMENT. First of all, watch very carefully the amount you pay, because they don’t notice that you have overpaid. When you notice that you have overpaid, they say “oh yes, a mistake, we’ll sort it out at discharge,” and at discharge they say “we processed the operation at the end of the day, we’ll send it in 15 days.” By the way, the overpayment amount is 27,000 lira. The department manager is a separate topic; he creates obstacle after obstacle regarding the refund, and his manner of communication is in no way suited to a hospital department — he doesn’t see a patient, he sees a customer. In addition, 15 days have already passed and they still haven’t transferred the money.

The hospital is more than wonderful, I advised many friends. We are currently continuing treatment at the hospital, and we are performing chemotherapy. Thanks dr. Adnan and Dr. Serkana.

Greetings to all, on February 12, 2016, I underwent an operation to remove the L2 schwannoma, the result exceeded even the most daring expectations! I am very grateful to the doctors and medical staff for their professionalism and care, I would like to express special gratitude to the neurosurgeon Fatih Khan Belyukbashy, thanks to their equipment and the technique used, I retained all reflexes and full sensitivity, two days after the operation I was quite confident in walking around in a corset, a month later they allowed to start my work, I am very glad that I got to this clinic. I highly recommend this clinic and doctors to everyone.

Today I had a very good experience undergoing a comprehensive health check-up. My translator Ede, as well as all the doctors, nurses and technical specialists who helped me, were simply wonderful.

I really appreciate that everyone was friendly while strictly adhering to professional standards. For example, when I thought a stress test was unnecessary, it was explained to me that it had to be performed not because it was part of the package, but because their professional approach and concern for my health required it.

In addition, when some lab values turned out to be outside the normal range, I had the opportunity to discuss them in detail with specialists who gave specific and helpful recommendations. Amazing!

My only remark is that the names of the examination packages are too similar to each other, so it is easy to get confused about which list of services belongs to which package. But this is easy to fix and it absolutely cannot be compared with the high level of care that I received.

My dear doctor Safak Olgan, my beloved nurses Saadet, Deniz and Mufide, my wonderful embryologist Merih, as well as Bercem, Melisa, Derya and Gulhan, who greeted me with a smile every time — I love you all very, very much.

This was teamwork. Beyond everything else, motivation plays a huge role, and this team gave us even more of it than one could expect.

My dear doctor holds a special place in my heart, but each of you is also incredibly dear to me. If we were able to meet our daughter, then each of you contributed to it.

At this hospital, my husband’s sister was treated in the oncology department, and we visited her every day for several months.

Pros:

1. A new beautiful hospital with good equipment. But, by the way, it has no CT scanner — to perform a scan, patients are taken by ambulance to another hospital with which there is an agreement.

2. Good wards — TV, amenities, everything is more like a hotel. The room has a kettle, a fridge, tea and coffee are provided, you can choose dinner options, for example chicken or meat. There is a sofa for a companion, no one controls visiting hours — complete freedom.

3. Good strong oncologists and a very good department that deals with punctures and removal of fluid from the abdominal cavity.

But:

1. The oncology department is overcrowded. For example, an appointment at 15:00, but it only starts at 17:00. And this happens constantly. For the last two months, even with tickets, we always wait several hours. The question arises — then why issue tickets at all? It is very hard for a sick person to sit so long.

The doctors look tired and lately seem to give patients insufficient attention. I also noticed that patients with translators seem to go out of turn, even though everyone waiting has tickets. This looks unfair to other patients.

2. Perhaps we were just unlucky, but during the last week and a half of staying in the ward on the second floor, the nurses many times could not get into a vein. Once or twice is understandable, but not constantly. When we contacted the reception, we were told that everything was fine.

There was also a case when we asked for blood for a transfusion, and the nurses said that the blood service was not issuing it now. Later, through acquaintances, it turned out that the hospital had not even submitted a request for blood. Why deceive? Relatives of cancer patients are already at the limit of their capabilities.

3. In our case, stronger pain relief was needed, but we did not get it, although we asked repeatedly. In addition, we needed a specialist every day who knows how to work with fluid in the abdominal cavity — to adjust the tubes, do an ultrasound. But on holidays no one was there. The sick person was in great pain, the abdomen was swollen, and the hospital did nothing.

In general, if you have the opportunity to choose a ward not on the second floor — I highly recommend doing so. We stayed in this hospital on different floors, and we encountered such disorder only on the second.

P.S. If pricing information is important: for Turkish citizens an oncologist consultation is 2500 lira, the procedure for removing fluid from the abdominal cavity is 15000 lira, hospitalization is about 2500 lira per day.

We came on holiday from the Netherlands, and my father needed heart treatment.

We were accompanied by a translator throughout the entire process. The cardiologist also spoke English, which was very convenient.

The attitude towards patients here is exceptional, and I especially want to note the food. The female nurses were wonderful, but with the male nurses our experience was not as good.

This is a clean, safe, friendly and honest hospital. I must admit that it is even better than many hospitals in the Netherlands.

If you need treatment, this is exactly where you should turn.

I had to go through many stages of cancer treatment. I want to note that all the staff of this hospital are very responsive and highly professional.

Three weeks ago I had an emergency, and at other hospitals I literally went through real hell. I had to ask Professor Mustafa Ozdogan and his assistant Ayde to arrange my transfer by ambulance from that hospital.

They immediately arranged my transfer, and I immediately received all the necessary treatment and hospitalization with great care and attention.

I underwent all the necessary medical procedures, and then Professor Alihan Gurkan successfully performed the operation. He speaks English fluently.

Nazly Yavuzer Ture did everything possible to avoid surgical intervention, however my case was very complex.

I have a condition that was ignored for years in other hospitals — both in Turkey and abroad. Here they finally made the correct diagnosis and are doing everything possible to help me control the disease and become healthy again.

Yes, the prices are a little high, but it is a private hospital. I prefer to pay a little more than to face rude treatment and lack of attention in public hospitals.

There is only one remark: the cashier in the cafe (the woman who usually works on the right) is very rude.

I was very satisfied with Professor Koray.

However, the prices are really high, additional medical insurance is not accepted, and the meal menus were composed very unprofessionally.

Yesterday I had surgery to remove a hernia, I want to thank my surgeon Jenk Ermol and the other doctors who participated in the operation. I also want to thank the nurses who took care of me.

A year ago, we came to the Memorial clinic for the treatment of my husband by Professor Mustafa Ozdogan. Treated urinary tract tumor. The professor is excellent, attentive, and pleasant. After the therapy, an operation was performed by the wonderful professor Murat Savash. These professors have done a miracle – no cancer! Low bow to the professors. Last year, my son was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma in the collarbone region. We tried to be treated at home for six months, but to no avail. After that, we decided to look for help abroad. We flew to the Memorial clinic in Antalya. Fortunately, the doctors conducted additional examinations and gave hope that the son would recover. We underwent chemotherapy, after which he underwent surgery. We managed to defeat the disease, and we really hope that it will never return.

Professor Mustafa Ozdogan is a wonderful specialist. He helped me in solving my problem qualitatively, quickly, and very professionally. All treatment, the appointment from the first consultation, was comfortable, and I was definitely informed about the development of all diseases. It is rare to find such qualified doctors who meet easily in communication. I recommend everyone to go to him.

We came from Serbia for surgery on our daughter’s arm. Due to poor treatment and medical negligence in our country, the surgery was only performed a year after the fracture by Dr. Erhan Bayram. We were left with exceptionally positive impressions of this hospital. From the doctor who greeted us as if we had known each other our whole lives, to the staff — everyone was incredibly kind.

The surgery was complex, but the doctor performed it flawlessly. Even though his shift ended at 11 p.m. on the day of the operation, he called us to ask about the child’s condition and whether we needed help. In the following days he visited us constantly and did not let us return to Serbia until he was sure our daughter was fully healthy and ready to travel.

I am deeply impressed by the approach, professionalism and empathy of Dr. Erhan Bayram, his assistant Mr. Ali, the nurses and all the staff we interacted with.

It used to be a very good hospital with a strong team of doctors and quality service. After the transition to the Istinye University / Medical Park group, many good doctors left.

Now the level of service has declined: the food, cleanliness and organization are no longer what they used to be, despite the high prices.

Good doctors remain, but the overall quality of work has worsened due to the new management policy.

I had a full women’s check-up as a foreigner. The tests themselves were detailed and booking was convenient via WhatsApp, but the overall experience was disappointing.

There is no initial consultation or review of medical history, and medications are prescribed without clarifying current treatment.

The doctors spend very little time, everything goes too fast, without proper explanations.

If follow-up consultations are needed — they almost always offer a separate paid appointment.

For foreigners expecting a personalized approach, it is worth being more careful.

The hospital is expensive, Medipol is cheaper.

A week ago I gave birth. My doctor Aytaj Hanım is a wonderful person; thanks to her the pregnancy went smoothly.

But I cannot say the same about the hospital: after the birth the care for the baby was insufficient, and at discharge they unexpectedly demanded an additional payment, citing a “misunderstanding” and insurance coverage.

It was a very good experience staying at this wonderful hospital during my surgery. I want to sincerely thank Ms. Beyan, Mr. Mohammed and Mr. Ahmed — they were incredibly helpful and friendly and supported me throughout the entire operation.

By the way, I had a 360 liposuction with Dr. Yunus, who was also excellent.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Aytaj Mahmudova throughout my pregnancy and during natural childbirth. Dr. Aytaj is not only a true professional but also a very supportive and pleasant person. The whole team during the delivery was very attentive, and the atmosphere in the postpartum ward was like a good hotel, which allowed me to feel comfortable and calm after such an important event.

In addition, there was a photographer who took pictures of us and the baby the next day. Thank you, Medical Park!

My daughter underwent surgery 2 months ago at Medical Park GOP with “professor” Yakup Chil: abdominoplasty and breast lift with implants. The surgery has nothing to do with cosmetic surgery. He simply cut, took the money, and no longer cares about the patient. My daughter developed a fungal infection, the wound on her chest opened, and she was in severe pain. Communication with the coordinator and the professor was very difficult. The professor became rude and did not explain the situation.

All travel and hotel expenses were at our own cost, and no one takes responsibility. We filed complaints — with no result. In the end we turned to another clinic and paid again to fix the situation.

The hospital ignores complaints, the coordinator also does not respond. I do not recommend this clinic or Dr. Yakup Chil.
