An excellent experience from start to finish. I learned about the clinic from my brother. From an early age I worried about the condition of my hair and had already accepted that nothing could be changed. But now there are solutions. We chose this clinic after seeing impressive results on TikTok and Instagram.
We also liked that it is a small clinic that doesn’t take on a huge flow of patients and can give more attention to each one. Here I didn’t feel like just another number — I was treated very well, especially by the nurses and consultants after the procedure.
The pain turned out to be much less than I expected. So if that is what’s holding you back, don’t worry: at most about 10 minutes of sensation around a 6 out of 10, and then the procedure is painless. We were wonderfully looked after, and the clinic’s location right in the hotel was a huge advantage. There’s also a shop downstairs where you can buy everything you need.
Even after the procedure they keep in great contact with me — you can tell the team truly cares about the result.
My advice to everyone in the UK (and beyond) — forget the expensive clinics on Harley Street, celebrity surgeons and the many new “budget” clinics popping up in London, and get your hair transplant with the professionals at HairNeva in Istanbul. Before the procedure I did serious research and contacted several clinics in Istanbul, and also visited one of the budget clinics in London (it was awful!). Not only did HairNeva respond faster than everyone and in more detail to my many questions before choosing a clinic, but from the first contact until I went home on the second day, my contact person Sevil took care of my every need with exceptional attentiveness. Make no mistake: a hair transplant is not a minor procedure like an injection. My operation lasted almost 11 hours, and the very fact that HairNeva performs all their procedures in a real hospital should put them at the top of any shortlist.
I had a hair transplant in the hairline and temple area to add density. I had a wonderful experience with the HairNeva team. They explained the whole process to me in detail and gave recommendations on the optimal placement of the hairline.
I chose a straight hairline, since in my culture this option is considered natural. Once I was happy with the proportions and design, my head was shaved, after which the operation soon began.
The clinic team has considerable experience: according to the staff, all specialists have worked in this field for at least eight years, and the technicians placing the grafts for at least twelve years. During the procedure they gave me a blanket because I sometimes get cold. It was comfortable, and the staff attentively addressed all my needs. I even managed to fall asleep during the operation.
The most unpleasant moment was the local anesthesia, but it lasted about a minute. After that everything went smoothly and calmly. I recommend the clinic for the high level of work and the team’s experience. They don’t do ten or more operations a day here — usually a maximum of five. On the day of my procedure, in April, there were only four operations.

After I arrived, I was met and a private transfer to the Marriott hotel was arranged. The hotel was excellent, and the room was large and comfortable. They made a difficult procedure understandable and quite comfortable.
The next day I was given everything needed for about six to seven months of recovery: shampoo, vitamins, minoxidil and finasteride. I have nothing bad to say about HairNeva.

I booked a hair transplant procedure at HairNeva / DrGO after comparing patient reviews and studying the development of hair transplant clinics in Ankara and Istanbul. I saw that HairNeva had good reviews and found no serious weaknesses. Remote communication with the assistant was very prompt: after consultations with Dr. Öztürk, he prepared an individual report for me with treatment options and costs.
I especially liked the modern DHI method and its affordable cost at this clinic. Booking and paying the deposit were also easy, so I planned my trip from Switzerland two months in advance. At Istanbul SAW airport a driver met me and took me to the hotel.
At the clinic I was met by a very polite and professional team. Everything looked modern and clean. I was comfortably accommodated in the Marriott Executive apartments on the eighth floor. The hotel and clinic are in the same building, which saved time on transfers and made the trip less stressful.
On the morning of the operation day I met the head doctor and his assistants for a personal consultation. Dr. Öztürk explained the surgery strategy and marked the zones on my head. I had a DHI transplant using the Choi pen: 3000 grafts were transplanted, and the procedure itself took about six hours.
After the operation I was given products and medication for recovery. The next day I was examined again after the first hair wash. A post-operative support specialist contacts me daily via messenger.
A few remarks: the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. I also didn’t like sleeping in a semi-upright position with a neck pillow. Overall I’m very happy with the accommodation and the procedure. For now I give four stars, since I’ll only be able to assess the final result in the coming months.

My experience at this clinic was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Several employees communicated with me in person and via WhatsApp, so I didn’t miss anything and always understood what was happening.

I contacted the HairNeva clinic and Dr. Güncel Öztürk after being told that it might be possible to transplant about 6000 grafts. However, on arrival I was told that my donor area only allows about 3000 grafts to be taken — which is not enough for full coverage.
The clinic was clean and the staff polite, but I was disappointed that the initial assessment turned out to be inaccurate: I had already paid for the flight and lost time and money. So I decided not to have the operation.
To future patients I recommend requesting a detailed and realistic assessment of the donor area before the trip.
On the other hand, I liked their honesty and professional approach.
