Everything is organized very cool. I cannot believe that this is all for the taxpayers’ money. But in other hand, it is very expensive. Apparently, a good service costs so much. We came here to do an operation to remove a malignant tumor in our daughter. Were very pleased with the service. It is said that the pediatric oncology department in this clinic is, if not the best, then one of those.

I was undergoing treatment in the Nuclear Medicine Department in November / December 2018. I have a very good experience. Here you will be treated politely, they will explain everything and accompany you during the examination! I was treated by 4 different doctors, and everyone was competent and inspired confidence. Thank you very much! In addition, the therapy worked perfectly! You are cool!

I spent 4 bed-days in neurology. I must say that the doctors and nurses here are doing an excellent job. I mean that all the staff with whom I spoke were very pleasant and courteous. The doctor in the emergency room (night shift) was very polite and competent.

We made a decision that I should give birth to our daughter in the university hospital. We were very impressed with midwives, nurses, and doctors. The team of midwives is incredibly well chosen, it consists of younger as well as more experienced midwives, all of whom are highly professional and all of them are very knowledgeable. We have never seen such a good working team as in the delivery room at the University of Cologne! As well, the care was perfect in the neonatal ward! Super good nurses and midwives gave advice: how to breastfeed, how to hold the baby in the arms, do up the baby, and so on.

We are very excited! We highly recommend this hospital!

The clinic is worthy. The high level of professionalism of the doctors speaks for itself. I had big problems with the spine (the vertebral disc bones were literally crumbled). I have been treating lymphoma for a long time. I am very glad that I went abroad to Germany. I came across a wonderful hematologist, chemotherapist and not only Dr. Axel Shtang. A very reasonable person. I underwent chemotherapy with him, and I also underwent additional tests and revealed sensitivity to targeted therapy. Here she helped me. Yes, as always, the treatment was difficult, and with nausea and pain, but I went on the mend. And surprisingly, I went into complete remission. I’m happy, but I’m afraid to jinx it. The prognosis of treatment depends on what dose of drugs is given, on their combination. Dr. Axel approached me with a personal touch, deviating from traditional protocols. May God grant him health and prosperity.

I was operated on by Dr. Gerhard Gebauer, whom I also know personally. He is a wonderful person and highly skilled professional. First, he recommended several tests, after which he planned the operation. Everything went well and successfully, almost all cancer cells were removed. I am grateful for his efforts.

would like to recommend Dr. Gross as a true expert in urology. My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He himself lives in Russia, but my wife and I have been living in Germany for 10 years, so we decided without hesitation that we would treat him only in a German clinic. According to the reviews, we chose the Asklepios clinic and Dr. Andreas. Everything went great! After the operation, dad recovered quickly, he felt a little worse after radiation, but this also quickly passed. We were lucky that the cancer was detected at an early stage and that doctors such as Asklepios treated the pope.

After the accident, I started having problems with my knee and needed an urgent replacement of the joint. I decided to undergo treatment in this clinic, because I do not trust our doctors. The operation was successful and I have almost recovered. I feel great. It is in the case of health, it is better to overpay and be sure that everything will be fine.

A very high level and quality of medicine in the clinic. The doctor is competent. They took an extra charge for a single ward. I liked conditions of the clinic, everything is thought out to the last detail.

I was hospitalized for two weeks. After the operation (cornea transplantation), during which I was provided with excellent medical care, the nurses came to give me eye drops and were always available if I had any difficulties. Service, food, everything was very good and elegant.

I don’t know whether this is the best clinic in Germany in terms of other eye diseases (glaucoma, etc.), but they can restore the eyesight very successfully! I came back a week ago from Berlin, where I carried out a laser correction using the ReLExsmile method. It should be mentioned that they don’t touch the cornea with a knife. Therefore, to be sure of the result, I chose this clinic and did not regret it. It is, of course, more expensive (especially considering the flight), but eye health is important!

I had myopia and I was wearing contact lenses for 7 years. The lenses did not give me the desired quality of vision. When I saw Doctor Jorn Jørgensen for the first time, he immediately made me credible and was very impressed. I immediately realized that I wanted to do the LASIK surgery at him. I have had kidney problems since childhood. When I turned 25, doctors strongly recommended that I remove the kidney and look for a donor to transplant a new one. My husband has cancer. He was treated in Ukraine, but there was no result. We arrived at the Essen clinic, where all the examinations were quickly carried out, according to the results of which therapy was recommended. Although in Ukraine doctors could not find a treatment for Boris, in Germany, on the contrary, it was said that it was even good that the tumor was endocrine-dependent, because it is controlled by special hormonal preparations. To tell the truth, the drugs will need to be taken during the life – once every 4 weeks.
The clinic has a very attentive attitude of all medical staff and the professor himself – the head physician. Patients are monitored at a very high level.

The next day after our arrival, an appointment at the clinic and a preoperative examination took place. My brother and I were operated on the same day – we asked for this in advance in order to be discharged from the clinic at the same time.

My brother is schizophrenic. It’s sad to read about it, and to face it in life is even sadder. I grew up with the knowledge that my brother is what he is, that he is hopelessly ill, that there is no cure. But somewhere in the depths of my soul, I did not lose hope. Schizophrenia, of course, is incurable, but my brother’s condition has improved. He’s going to do math.

I have type 2 diabetes. Previously, I had to limit myself not only in sweets, but also in other products that are characterized by a high sugar content. Even confectionery products on fructose provoked headaches, dizziness and deterioration in my condition. It is very hard to live like this, denying yourself a lot. I decided to take a course of treatment in Germany, as I heard a lot of positive reviews about it. I underwent stem cell therapy at the University Hospital in Tübingen. Now I feel much better. The symptoms that bothered me before completely disappeared.

I am a medical worker, regularly underwent examinations and could not even think that someday I would hear a terrible diagnosis – breast cancer. Cancer was detected at an early stage. I asked for help from a mammologist in our hospital, then I decided to consult at the oncology center. The conflicting recommendations from different doctors were confusing at first. I ended up at the University Hospital of Tübingen with a diagnosis of prostate cancer. After reviewing the history of my illness, as well as the results of a biopsy and other tests. I was examined by several doctors and they suggested surgery with new equipment. As I found out later, the Da Vinci system allows you to perform laparoscopic surgery with great accuracy. Not all clinics, even in Germany, are equipped with such equipment, but the clinic in Tübingen has it. I don’t know what influenced the result more: the professionalism of the surgeon or the miracle device. More than six months have passed since the operation. In the results of the latest tests, there is not even a hint of a terrible disease.

With a diagnosis of cataract, I lived for almost 7 years (now I am 42 years old). My vision was constantly deteriorating and, if at first I somehow adapted, then over time I began to distinguish objects very poorly. My cataract progressed not too fast. However, the critical moment came when an operation was needed. Good friends of our family live in Germany. They advised me to contact the University Hospital of Tübingen. Thanks to their help and support, I did not experience any difficulties with the language barrier. In the clinic, I had phacoemulsification with ultrasound. The operation lasted about 10 minutes (so it seemed to me). I spent about 3 more hours in the hospital. Then my friends took me to their home. Now I can see just fine.

I highly recommend the breast cancer treatment center! The staff and nurses are very pleasant. An excellent young team of doctors who work very professionally and have extensive experience, even on weekends.
Based on many years of experience, we can say that they are constantly developing and take constructive criticism from patients seriously.

I had advanced ovarian cancer, and I can recommend this center of excellence to all women with a similar problem. Many thanks to Professor Harter and his wonderful team. I had surgery on November 2, 2021, using the R0 method. They saved my life.

Excellent care from the first contact to discharge. The reception desk works quickly, professionally, and attentively. I have already had three breast surgeries at the KEM clinic, and I can only say positive things about it. First, I was very thoroughly examined and admitted. All explanations about the upcoming surgeries were very detailed. The surgeries went without complications, and there were no secondary wound healing disorders. Special attention was paid to hygiene. The initial consultation, examination, and surgery at the gynecological oncology clinic went very well. The doctors, nurses, and orderlies were very kind and attentive. I felt I was in good hands before and after the surgery.

But then the real chaos began. The anesthesiologist left work without completing my discharge papers, and instead of the expected two weeks, I received the results only after five weeks (I called several times, but they explained that many employees were on vacation).

A week later, they called me and said they noticed my paperwork had been sitting around for too long, so they scheduled another appointment. No apology was offered.

Today, almost three months later, they called me while I was on vacation.

Thanks to Dr. Sherko Kümel from the Essen University Hospital for diagnosing breast cancer at an early stage. I came to examine the strange pigmentation on the breast and eventually heard a terrible diagnosis. Dear women, if you are in doubt and something is bothering you in your breasts, be it bumps or the formation of vascular networks, then it’s better to immediately go to a mammologist and demand detailed tests, because at an early stage breast cancer is essentially like a cold, which is successful and heal quickly!

In February 2015, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The first days after the diagnosis, of course, were terrible and full of fear, I was sent to KEM. The team led by Prof. Kümmel offers first-class medicine combined with humanity, respect and dedication. All the time I was advised how the therapy would go (at the highest level and with the supportive inclusion of naturopathic aspects of psychology and body). Not a single question remained unanswered, and the doctors – even the head physician – and the nurses were really always there for me. There were many questions about my health condition, you are really in good hands. I recommend Professor Kümmel and his team to anyone with a similar problem.

I was on treatment in April 2021 and I feel very good now. Even in the intensive care unit, where I was after the surgery, it was comfortable. I would like to express special gratitude to the nurses, whose names, unfortunately, I do not remember, and of course to the doctors who operated on me. The only thing I didn’t like was the food. I had a hip replacement. The clinic is good, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. I was with my wife, both were satisfied with the accommodation. Professor Kraft operated, and everything went at the highest level, he was very pleased, there were no complications, the same evening I was put on my feet, on the third day I was already walking along the corridor, on the 5th day I was sent for rehabilitation. It healed quickly, the seam’s pain did not bother me, and after 3 weeks everything went away. Professor Kraft is very attentive, he came personally, answered questions, and told the nuances. The junior staff did not speak English well which caused problems. Rehabilitation is very intensive and sensible. Gymnastics, exercise equipment, massages, walks, procedures – everything is selected individually and contributes to a quick recovery.

I really enjoyed my stay at the clinic. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Doctors are top notch, professional and responsible. The room is perfect, the food is good. I liked everything, and most importantly, they helped my problem. I am very glad. Thanks a lot.

I gave birth in this clinic on July 22, 2022 and am very satisfied. The midwives, both during the birth and in the ward, were great. They have always been happy and very helpful. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days. I couldn’t have imagined a better attitude and conditions.

I have come here 3 times already for a knee revision. The attitude of doctors and medical staff is always friendly. They smile even when they are stressed. Sometimes I had to wait a long time, but this is a hospital, emergencies always take priority.

I am now on my second inpatient treatment in a very short time. And I’m glad I chose this clinic. The doctor at the reception was very friendly, as were the nurses in the ward. And the doctors who treat are very professional. Here I still feel like a person, not just a patient. Doctors consider all questions and problems. In general, everything is very good.

Today I was with my 2.5-year-old son with suspected pneumonia and a temperature above 39 degrees in the emergency center at Helios Hospital. We didn’t have to wait a minute and we immediately took action to make our child feel better. For this we want to thank you very much! The nurses and the lovely blond doctor were absolutely professional. There was even a big chocolate bunny at the end to take home. Thank you very much!
