My brother is schizophrenic. It’s sad to read about it, and to face it in life is even sadder. I grew up with the knowledge that my brother is what he is, that he is hopelessly ill, that there is no cure. But somewhere in the depths of my soul, I did not lose hope. I was much interested in the state of psychiatry and specifically in the progress in the treatment of schizophrenia, I knew that great success had been achieved in this area abroad. As soon as the financial situation allowed, I took my brother and we went to Tübingen. There is a famous hospital, which is famous for the quality of psychiatric care. And, you know, they helped. Schizophrenia, of course, is incurable, but my brother’s condition has improved. He’s going to do math.

I have type 2 diabetes. Previously, I had to limit myself not only in sweets, but also in other products that are characterized by a high sugar content. Even confectionery products on fructose provoked headaches, dizziness and deterioration in my condition. It is very hard to live like this, denying yourself a lot. I decided to take a course of treatment in Germany, as I heard a lot of positive reviews about it. I underwent stem cell therapy at the University Hospital in Tübingen. Now I feel much better. The symptoms that bothered me before completely disappeared.

I am a medical worker, regularly underwent examinations and could not even think that someday I would hear a terrible diagnosis – breast cancer. Cancer was detected at an early stage. I asked for help from a mammologist in our hospital, then I decided to consult at the oncology center. The conflicting recommendations from different doctors were confusing at first. I realized that I can easily make a mistake when choosing one of the courses. I heard from a friend of a patient about the high efficiency of treatment in Germany. This is how I ended up at the Tuebingen University Hospital. The examination with treatment lasted a little more than 2 weeks. I managed without surgery. Now I will be examined, and if necessary, continue treatment only there.

I ended up at the University Hospital of Tübingen with a diagnosis of prostate cancer. After reviewing the history of my illness, as well as the results of a biopsy and other tests. I was examined by several doctors and they suggested surgery with new equipment. As I found out later, the Da Vinci system allows you to perform laparoscopic surgery with great accuracy. Not all clinics, even in Germany, are equipped with such equipment, but the clinic in Tübingen has it. I don’t know what influenced the result more: the professionalism of the surgeon or the miracle device. More than six months have passed since the operation. In the results of the latest tests, there is not even a hint of a terrible disease.

With a diagnosis of cataract, I lived for almost 7 years (now I am 42 years old). My vision was constantly deteriorating and, if at first I somehow adapted, then over time I began to distinguish objects very poorly. My cataract progressed not too fast. However, the critical moment came when an operation was needed. Good friends of our family live in Germany. They advised me to contact the University Hospital of Tübingen. Thanks to their help and support, I did not experience any difficulties with the language barrier. In the clinic, I had phacoemulsification with ultrasound. The operation lasted about 10 minutes (so it seemed to me). I spent about 3 more hours in the hospital. Then my friends took me to their home. Now I can see just fine.
