Epilepsy treatment abroad

He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 2004 as a medical doctor. In 2004, he started to work as a neurology assistant in Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Department of Neurology, and in 2009 he received his neurology expertise.

He worked as a research assistant and doctorate student at Ghent University, Belgium between 2009-2013. During this period, he made careful neuroimaging studies. He received his PhD in psychology in 2013. He received his PhD in psychology in 2013. In 2013 and 2014, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Gent University with a scholarship from Gent University research funds. In June 2014, he started to work as an assistant professor at Uskudar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Neurology Specialist at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital.

In 1989, Berin Aktekin graduated from the medical faculty of Akdeniz University. In 1995, she graduated from the neurology department of the same faculty, majoring in “Neurology”. She worked as a visiting researcher in the field of clinical neurophysiology (EEG-EMG-evoked potentials and transcranial magnetic stimulation) for 6 months between 1996-1997 at UK-Southampton General Hospital.

She received the academic title of associate professor in 2000.
From 2001 to 2002, she worked as a visiting researcher in the field of epilepsy and video-EEG monitoring and epilepsy surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in the United States.

In 2006, I received the title of professor at the same university.

In addition to his medical practice, Professor Uri Kramer is active in scientific work, helping young professionals from all over the world to treat epilepsy in young patients. During his work, the professor has published more than 150 scientific papers that help specialists diagnose and treat epilepsy in children.

One of the professor’s achievements is the development of a specialized Epi-Alert bracelet, which helps to warn of epileptic seizures in
children and adults. The bracelet is under development and is not yet available for sale.
