Main areas of research:

1. Bariatric surgery:

• Development and refinement of techniques: Minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and mini-open surgery are emphasized.
• Treatment of Complications: Researchers are studying various aspects of treating complications from bariatric surgery, including intussusception, bleeding, and wound infections.
• Long-term outcomes: The long-term effects of bariatric surgeries on weight, comorbidities, and quality of life for patients are being analyzed.
• Associated Procedures: The possibility of combining bariatric surgery with other procedures, such as abdominoplasty, is being investigated.

2. Abdominal Surgery:

• Acute pancreatitis: Various aspects of acute pancreatitis are studied, including diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
• Intestinal Obstruction: New methods of diagnosis and treatment of acute intestinal obstruction are being developed.
• Liver Surgery: Various aspects of liver surgery are being investigated, including the treatment of tumors and trauma.

3. Utilization of new technologies in surgery:

• Laparoscopic Surgery: The active introduction and improvement of laparoscopic techniques in various areas of surgery.
