How we select doctors

• 1. Recommendations and reputation analysis

  We gather recommendations from patients, doctors, clinics’ international departments, our local representatives in different countries and colleagues who have worked with clinics and doctors abroad for many years. We study reviews, public information, positive and negative mentions of the doctor, and check whether patients come to them through professional and personal recommendations. What matters to us are recurring signals about the quality of the specialist’s work and their medical reputation.

• 2. Experience and narrow specialization

  We look not only at the overall length of practice but at the doctor’s experience in the specific field: which cases they handle most often, how many similar operations or treatment programs they have performed, and whether they have a narrow focus and work with such patients regularly.

• 3. Qualifications and professional credentials

  We verify the doctor’s education, diplomas, certificates, professional achievements and scientific publications, if any. It is important for us to confirm that the specialist’s stated level matches their actual qualifications.

• 4. Work, techniques and approach

  We analyze examples of the doctor’s work, the techniques they use and their professional approach. In plastic surgery, we pay attention to the style of the results, the precision of the work, safety and how well the outcome matches patients’ expectations. In treatment, we look at the medical reasoning, the justification of prescriptions and experience with similar cases.

• 5. Clinic, medical infrastructure and team

  We assess not only the doctor but also the clinic where they work: the level of equipment, operating rooms, patient rooms, accreditations, conditions for international patients and how the doctor fits into the clinic’s work. We also check the doctor’s team: assistants, interpreters, the international department, response speed, quality of communication and readiness to work with international patients.

  6. Transparent prices and terms

  Experts Medical works with agreed clinic price lists. We know in advance what is included in the cost and make sure the agreed terms do not change for the patient along the way. The cost of treatment when you come through us is the same as when you contact the clinic directly: the patient pays for treatment directly at the clinic, with no additional markup from Experts Medical. Our fee is covered by our partnership terms with the clinic and does not increase the cost of treatment for the patient.

• 7. Support after your request and revision policy

  It is important for us that the doctor offers online consultations, stays in touch after treatment or surgery, and has a clear procedure for follow-up consultations and next steps if the patient needs a correction, revision or additional medical support.
