Graduated from the University of Bern in Switzerland in 1987.
He received his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1990.
In 1994, he completed his studies at Eppendorf University in Hamburg, Germany.
In 1997, he completed his training in pediatric surgery at Sisli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.

Clinical experience

GATA Military Hospital, where he worked in the pediatric surgery department from 1997 to 1998.
He then moved to Sisli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, where he worked in the Pediatric Surgery Clinic from 1998 to 2001.
From 2001 to 2014, the doctor taught at the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Ondokuz Mayis University.
From 2006-2007, he worked at Wayne State University, Detroit, USA.
He then returned to Ondokuz Mayis University, where he was Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery from 2014 to 2017.
In 2017, he took the position of Secretary General of the Turkish Pediatric Surgery Association.
He has been working at Ajibadem Altunizadeh and Ajibadem Atakent Medical Centers from 2018 to present.
