In October 2015 I was hospitalized at the Çapa Faculty of Medicine with a diagnosis of "liver cancer." After a year of anticancer treatment I was ready for transplantation, but at Çapa they kept delaying the operation because the risk of a fatal outcome was high. This continued until we found our Koray hodja. Koray hodja told me: "Since you are a complex case, no one will easily take on your transplant. We take the risk," — and gave me the green light. My donor was also ready, and as a result of a long (13.5-hour) operation, after which our hodja told my relatives, "This is the first time I have performed such a transplant," on November 22, 2016 I returned to life. I was discharged after 8 days in intensive care and 29 days in the ward. Follow-up continues. I am endlessly grateful to our hodja Koray bey and the entire transplantation department team.

I underwent a liver transplant at Memorial Şişli Hospital on October 10, 2012. May Allah be pleased with you all. Now I am very healthy, my liver is in excellent condition. Later a problem arose with my spleen — it was also removed. Apparently this is how Allah wrote it in my fate — I stayed in the hospital longer than anyone. Everyone was discharged on day 7, and I exactly on day 40. I caused the nurses and orderlies many difficult moments — I ask everyone for forgiveness. Great thanks to everyone, to the entire organ transplantation team, above all to Professor Dr. Münci Kalayoğlu, Professor Dr. Koray Acarli, associate professor Dr. Turan Kanmaz who was constantly by our side, operator Dr. Yücel Yankol, operator Dr. Nesimi Mecit. To my doctors, to the blood bank staff who sent blood when I needed it, to the general intensive care staff who fulfilled all my requests, to the angels of the hospital — our nurses and orderlies who came running for our every need, to the cafeteria and café staff who never left me without food, and to the security guards who ensured our peace — thank you.

In 2009 I was diagnosed and treated at many hospitals. The doctors at these hospitals said that I would not survive a transplant. The last time I lay in the hospital for 40 days, and my condition worsened even more. Then, after meeting Münci hodja and Koray hodja, I gained hope that I would recover. Based on the results of our hodjas’ examinations they said a transplant was possible, and on February 23, 2012 a transplant was performed from my twin. Now I have returned to health and am very happy. I am doing well, praise Allah. Enormous gratitude to the doctors who performed the operation — above all to the esteemed Professor Dr. Münci Kalayoğlu and the esteemed Professor Dr. Koray Acarli, the entire organ transplantation team, the coordinators Nilgün hanım and Altan bey, the nurses on the 7th floor of building B, and all the staff — for their attention and professional attitude toward their work.

Symptoms of ulcerative colitis bothered me from the age of 17, but several doctors failed to make the correct diagnosis. Only Dr. Fatih Oguz Onder was able to identify the disease and stop its development. I have been observed by him for 4 years now, and thanks to the treatment, I am in remission most of the time. I was in the transplantation department of Sourasky clinic, a wonderful department, good attitude, care, thanks to all the staff.

The liver transplant at Sourasky Clinic was successful and the organ was accepted by my body. I have regular check-ups at the medical center in my home country every 2-3 months. I send the results to Nir Lubetski, who is in charge of my treatment in Israel.

I was at the Ichlov Clinic to see Dr. Oren. He is a wonderful doctor who explains everything well and clearly.

I had hepatitis C many years ago, and I had a suspicion of liver cancer. I went to different doctors, and there was no consensus - even after a biopsy. Prof. Shibolet from the Suraski Clinic reviewed the results of my biopsy and said for sure: I don't have cancer. That was probably the greatest joy of my life.

I am making my second "run" at hepatitis C treatment. The first one (six months of interferon and ribaverine) ended in failure. At the Suraski clinic I was prescribed new medications. I was just happy that the treatment was not 6 months but only 2 months. Now I am finally doing well.

I had hepatitis C and my doctor recommended everything I needed: supplements, detoxification and diet. I went to Israel to discuss all his recommendations. In the hepatology department of the Suraski clinic I was told that I am healthy and can live as before, no additional treatment is needed. So I saved a lot of time and money.

I came to the Assuta Clinic for treatment of cirrhosis. After an examination, which cost me less than $1,000, I was told that I had stage 2. I was treated by Oren Shibolet, who offered me an expensive but effective method - stem cells. After their introduction, my tests became much better, and my health improved. I continue my treatment at home and take the medications prescribed by the doctor.

After my daughter was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, we found Dr. Volkan. He became our greatest blessing after God. Even after treatment, he never left our side, no matter what time of day it was. We met Dr. Volkan when my daughter at the age of 11 had Hodgkin's lymphoma again in 2013. In May 2014, a bone marrow transplant was performed using her own cells. In late 2015 the disease came back again and we started treatment again. This time we were told that a bone marrow transplant from a donor would be required. Fortunately, a suitable donor was found from Germany in April 2016 and my daughter had another successful transplant. Now everything is fine, my daughter is studying at the lyceum and preparing for university. We are always grateful to Dr. Volkan for his experience, knowledge, humanity and fatherly attitude. We overcame the disease thanks to his support and, of course, God's will. We still turn to him if any problems arise. We trust him completely.

I got sick for the first time when I was 5.5 years old. The disease came back several times. When it came back for the fourth time at the age of 16, I made the decision to have a bone marrow transplant and met Dr. Volkan. My son developed a tumor in his groin. We went to a government hospital from where we were referred to a research clinic. After biopsy, it was diagnosed as Lymphoma. We contacted Dr. Volkan and treatment started in 2017. The treatment was completed in 2018, but later that year our son developed a lung infection and Dr. Volkan again showed great care. My daughter was diagnosed with a tumor on the back of her hip and we were referred to an orthopedist. The diagnosis was later clarified as a Muscle Tumor and we needed an oncologist. Our child was diagnosed with a brain tumor. We went through a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. After a year, the disease came back and after our research, we concluded that the best treatment would be a stem cell transplant.
