His primary focus lies in hernia surgery, with a specialization in laparoscopic procedures.
With over twenty years of experience as a consultant surgeon, including one year in London, UK, and five years in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, he has acquired extensive expertise in a broad spectrum of surgical interventions, both elective and emergency. These procedures, in which he has served as the primary surgeon, encompass:
- Gastric resections for benign or malignant conditions, along with open and laparoscopic fundoplication (Nissen’s and Toupet’s).
- Hepatectomies, pancreatectomies, bile duct surgeries, laparoscopic and open cholecystectomies, and laparoscopic and open splenectomies.
- Colectomies and rectal resections with TME, performed via laparoscopic and open approaches.
- Hernia repair procedures, conducted through laparoscopic and open techniques, as well as thyroid and breast surgeries.
- Collaborative work with bariatric teams.
Following the completion of his gastroenterology training, he has also gained proficiency in upper and lower GI endoscopy.
