Botulinum toxin is injected into the muscular wall of the stomach during an endoscopy under sedation. The drug temporarily weakens the stomach muscles, which helps you eat less; the effect is temporary and lasts about 6 months.
Gastric balloon
a non-surgical method
A balloon is placed in the stomach through the mouth and takes up part of its volume. The balloon stays in place for a set period and is then removed.

Gastric Botox injections are performed to provide non-surgical weight loss. For these injections, same botox materials are used for facial procedures. With the injection, stomach muscles are eliminated and they can’t expand with the food intake. This cause less food intake and weight loss.
