I would like to write about my experience with Dr. Konstantin Siminenko. I researched the internet for the best plastic surgeons in Turkey. Konstantin texted me on WhatsApp. He asked me a few questions about age, what I want to do and send him my photos. He asked me when I am planning the surgery. I planned in August, as I have trips in July, but Konstantin suggested that maybe have the surgery earlier before my trip and I realized that this was the best solution. After that, there was an answer that he would find out who would suit me in terms of price and quality. He received a response from Professor Yakup Cil. Everything was written in the contract, what operation, cost and everything that is included in this cost. So it’s happened so quickly and spontaneously, but this is all thanks to Konstantin’s confident voice and his qualified and competent answers to my worries. I asked him a lot of questions and how I can pay, it’s great that it’s not a problem with a credit card from foreign country. Konstantin was always in touch with me, 24/7 despite the time difference, and he gave me confidence that everything will be fine. Then he connected me with the manager Eldar, whom I didn’t bother with so many questions, and already he sent me the details of the meeting at the airport, and so on. Interpreter Nargiz contacted me, a very nice, smiling girl, and upon arrival she was helped by another translator Sevil very pleasant, and we also had a good conversation with her. On the first evening after the surgery, I wrote to Konstantin: “In general, I have already had a surgery. Until I saw the result) in any case, thank you for your help. Your voice and answers were very encouraging and I didn’t look for anything else and rushed to the embrasure :)”. Once again I thank Konstantin, thanks to him I decided on such a difficult decision that was important for me. It had to be done now or no one knows when. I thank the whole team, and of course to professor Yakup Cil of the Medical Park hospital.

Kidney Transplant Review at Medical Park Floria Hospital Istanbul. I would like to share my feedback about my treatment and living donor kidney transplant surgery at Medical Park Floria Clinic Istanbul. I am 36 years old, from the city of Kyiv. I found out about my illness because I started looking for the cause of high blood pressure and the first numbers of creatinine that I found out were 517. According to Turkish units, this is 5.17. All my visits to the hospitals of Alexandrovskaya, Zaporozhets and Shalimov were reduced to the desire of the staff to transfer me to dialysis. This is the only treatment they can offer and the imaginary waiting in line for a cadaveric organ. Let me clarify right away: in 2022, a total of 275 operations were performed in Ukraine, taking into account related donors, priority for children, cadaveric organs and all blood types. In other words, the prospect of being tethered to machines (with 85% of dialysis patients contracting hippatitis due to lack of sterility and negligence) or death. I chose to operate abroad. Why Türkiye? – because Türkiye is one of the leaders in transplantation in the world. More than 3,000 operations per year and the cost of operations is 15-18,000 dollars. So: Clinic Medical Park Floria Istanbul. The coordinator Natalia also worked with us remotely. She very attentively and competently helped us with the documents for departure, organized communication with the doctors. It is extremely important that they look at the tests and analyze your condition and readiness for surgery. Otherwise, you may need additional treatment, which also costs money. We knew everything beforehand. She also organized our first meeting with doctors and translators from the international department. Natalia remains a lobbyist for your interests in the hospital. She treated us like a relative. On our first visit, we were immediately met by the head of the international department – Timur. A very responsible employee, he knows Russian and immediately assigned us an interpreter Shahida. An interpreter is not only for its intended purpose, it is your assistant, guide and friend throughout the hospital. Shahida is just smart, a bee and a hard worker. 24/7 is very smart, competent and humane. As for the hospital, I can say that it is a modern hospital of the highest and professional level. All wards are built competently for the needs of patients. Starting from beds, shower placement, sinks, toilet paper, equipment, TV, daily cleaning, linen change, 3 meals a day. In terms of equipment, this is a rich hospital. There is everything and in large quantities: all x-rays are mobile, ultrasound is mobile, CT, everything, everything is in abundance and there are serious manufacturers. By staff: 24/7 supervision, the junior medical professional is very serious and attentive. Many people know English. Everything is done with a smile and attention. For 3 days I passed all the tests and 2 days before the operation I was hospitalized. The operation took 6 hours under the influence of good anesthesia and I spent 12-18 hours in intensive care. Separately, I want to say about resuscitation and the operating room: everything is new, sterile new devices, all the equipment is top. Resuscitation is individual rooms with all sensors for the end of droppers, indicators, etc. In the morning, all the responsible doctors came to the intensive care unit: 3 surgeons, a nephrologist, a nephrologist who is responsible for further post-operative support, they did an ultrasound, an x-ray and every step was documented under a signature. Then they moved me to the ward and visited me daily: a surgeon, a nephrologist, and a sea of doctors and nurses. It turns out that after the operation it is hard to walk and you need to walk around)) but after 7 days I was already at the hotel. Further, we go to the delivery of tests and adjust the amount of medication. I will add: the level of the hospital is top and trust your life to professionals. In Kyiv, they said that without dialysis, they would not perform an operation on me, but here they said that it was not necessary to do it since I was walking and sane. Important: this is my personal experience, not a guide to action. Deciding to do or not dialysis is necessary in conjunction with doctors. I went for an operation with creatinine: 1215 or 12.15 in Turkish.

I had a wonderful experience at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital, especially with Dr. Berkay from the physiotherapy department. I brought a close family member who suffered from severe back pain and difficulty moving due to muscle tension and posture problems. From the very first session, Dr. Berkay was extremely professional, attentive and genuinely caring.

He thoroughly assessed the condition, clearly explained the treatment plan and made sure that each session was tailored to the patient’s needs. Thanks to his experience and dedication, we noticed a significant improvement in mobility and a reduction in pain within a short time. The monitoring and support throughout the entire recovery process played a huge role.

Every time I come, I ask myself “Why am I here?”, but for the sake of such valuable doctors as Deniz and physiotherapist Aslı, we keep coming. It’s good that they are there.

In 2024, our child had a VNS implanted at this clinic. Manager Arslan provided enormous help with the paperwork, hospitalization and adaptation. The operation was performed by Dr. Sait Öztürk. We were completely satisfied with the inpatient conditions and the postoperative results. Everything was done quickly, taking our wishes into account. Despite the fact that we do not know Turkish, communication was not difficult, thanks to the work of the very sensitive and caring interpreter Zarina Gedaeva, ready to come to the rescue at any moment. Zarina is not just an interpreter, but our guide, helping to overcome not only the language barrier, but also any organizational issues. From the moment of the operation to this day, the child is monitored at the clinic by the competent, highly qualified and attentive neurologist Türkan Uygur Şahin, who has deep knowledge of modern methods of treating epilepsy in children. At Medical Park Bahçelievler, from the first days we felt confidence and a professional approach. The professors and doctors of the transplant department explained each stage of preparation and the transplant itself in detail and calmly, were always in touch and inspired complete trust.

The nurses and staff of the department are attentive, patient and very caring, which is especially important during the post-BMT period.

I had a full check-up at this hospital. I chose from 5 different hospitals, and in this one the ratio of price to the list of procedures turned out to be the most optimal. The check-up took place from 9 to 15. Since the hospital is very busy, I had to wait a little for the appointment, but the check-up department staff tried very hard to do everything as quickly as possible. The doctors approached the examination and complaints attentively. Also, a pleasant bonus was that if additional examinations are needed, they give a discount on the doctor’s appointment, and the check-up department specialists themselves can schedule you. There was no inflating of the bill, as written in other reviews. The only wish is to organize the doctors’ visits so that all the procedures where you need to be fasting (blood, ultrasound) are done first, then let the patient eat, and then everything else. Because the first time during the day I managed to eat breakfast was at 13:00 (that’s 7 hours after waking up). This was very hard for me. For this I take off a star.

How successful is the liver transplant at Medical Park?

IRODaT data shows that in 2021 Turkey was in second place in the world in the number of liver transplants from a living donor

295 liver transplants were performed at Medical Park Transplant Centers in 2021 with a success rate of 93% for patients with the following diseases:

The sampling of a part of the liver is performed only from a related donor up to the 4th degree of kinship. The donor stays in the hospital for a week, the patient needs one month on average for rehabilitation.

How is cancer treated in children and adults at Medical Park Cancer Centers?

To confirm the diagnosis and clarify the stage of cancer, technologies such as MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) on the latest generation tomographs and PET-CT (positron emission tomography) with the introduction of various special contrast agents into the blood are used. What neurosurgical operations are performed in the clinic?
