Everything went perfectly, starting with the organization of the trip from Spain, which was supervised by Hanim, and the accompaniment of the interpreter Lale, for which I thank them for their professionalism, attentiveness and care throughout the trip. Research activities and publications

Main research areas:

Bariatric Surgery: Dr. Seyit is actively studying the efficacy of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, including long-term outcomes, cardiovascular effects and hormonal changes.
Oncology: Dr. Seyit’s research includes studying biomarkers such as nectin-2 and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) levels in the diagnosis and prognosis of colorectal cancer.
Minimally invasive techniques: He develops and implements new techniques such as direct trocar insertion with vaginal elevation of the rectus abdominis muscle to improve surgical safety and efficiency.
Psychological Aspects: Dr. Seyit investigates the effects of bariatric surgery on patients’ psycho-emotional well-being, including changes in sexual function, anxiety and depression.

Publications:

Dr. Seyit’s research articles have appeared in reputable international publications including Surgical Endoscopy, Bariatric Surgical Practice and Patient Care and Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques.
