Professor Gökhan Boyraz is a Turkish gynecologic oncologist with 18 years of medical experience. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Ankara University as the second in his class and completed his residency at one of the country’s leading hospitals — Hacettepe. In 2013 he ranked first across Turkey on the national subspecialty examination in gynecologic oncology. His strengths include uterus-sparing surgery for multiple and large fibroids — when other doctors recommend hysterectomy — as well as complex surgery for ovarian, cervical and uterine cancer.
He holds a European ESGO diploma (European Gynaecological Oncologist), a HIPEC certificate after training in Hamburg with Paul H. Sugarbaker — one of the developers of the technique — and has completed fellowships at the German clinic Essen-Mitte and the Austrian University of Graz.

Professor Gökhan Boyraz is the author of numerous national and international scientific articles, book chapters and presentations in the field of gynecologic oncology.
