It was my first time at Bangkok International Hospital, and I was very impressed from the very first step and throughout my entire stay. Being ill on the day of an important anniversary was not the most pleasant experience, but the doctors, nurses, staff and the butler team of the 6BIH (Neurology) ward made this experience truly special.

We are very grateful and could not have wished for more. The entire hospital staff were polite, professional and extremely attentive. This truly deserves the highest praise.

All the nurses in ward 16D were wonderful. They showed great care, responded quickly to any request and made our stay in room D1618 as comfortable as possible. All the staff were excellent, but I would especially like to mention Alaylina, Pornthip, Laksika, Pattama, Warnaporn and Vilaiporn.

The doctors at Bangkok Hospital have outstanding knowledge and a high level of professionalism, while genuinely caring about their patients. This is already our fourth visit to Bangkok Hospital, and we are sincerely grateful for the treatment and care we received. We would like to express our special appreciation to doctors Ratkawin, Aroon and Jirawadee. We wish Bangkok Hospital would open a branch in Bangladesh and make world-class medical services available to the people of our country.

I am absolutely satisfied with my treatment experience at Bangkok Hospital and the Spine Center. I underwent a complex spinal surgery, and Dr. Vit, a spine surgeon, proved himself to be a true professional. He explained all stages of the treatment in detail and answered all my questions.

The level of medical care and attention was excellent. Dr. Chaiyadej was also actively involved in the treatment and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. I am the mother of a patient who recently underwent scoliosis surgery, which was performed by Dr. Wit from the Spine Department. My daughter was admitted to ICU3, Building D for one day, and then continued her recovery at Ward 4, 4th Floor, BIH for an additional five days.
From the initial stages of pre-operative preparation, including the health check-ups with Dr. Thitirat and Dr. Pongpak, I was deeply moved by the attentiveness, thoroughness, and professionalism of all the medical personnel involved. Their dedication to minimizing risks and ensuring the best care for my daughter was clearly evident.
Prior to the surgery, I was extremely anxious, as it was a major procedure. However, once we were admitted to Ward 4, 4th Floor, BIH, I was comforted by the kind, gentle, and attentive nursing staff, whose warm care greatly eased my worries. Speaking with the doctor before the operation gave me even more confidence that my daughter would be in the safest and most capable hands.
Throughout my daughter’s stay, I witnessed firsthand the seamless teamwork and dedication among specialists from multiple departments: the Spine Team, Pediatricians, Pediatric Hematologists, Rehabilitation Physicians, Anesthesiologists, ICU Doctors, the Physical Therapy Team, along with the nurses in ICU3 and Ward 4, 4th Floor BIH — as well as the housekeeping team who kept everything impeccably clean. Everyone carried out their responsibilities with genuine care, compassion, and professionalism.
I truly believe that quality care must encompass both physical and emotional well-being. The exceptional care provided by everyone here significantly contributed to my daughter’s swift recovery and enhanced her overall well-being.
In addition, the operating room was equipped with the most advanced technology currently available, ensuring the highest standard of treatment. The ICU was fully prepared to provide intensive care, and the patient room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped — all of which offered great reassurance to both the patient and caregiver.
In closing, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for their outstanding medical care, service, and exceptional attention to detail — far beyond our expectations. P.S. Even while staying in the hospital, my daughter remained cheerful – thanks to the lovely nurses who did her hair every day and even helped wash it for her.

I had a great experience with the orthopedic team. They are highly professional, providing clear and precise diagnosis and treatment. The service was excellent, and the doctors focused on the right issues, ensuring a quick recovery exactly as promised. Highly recommend for anyone needing quality care!

Our 3 year old daughter, was in this great hospital having a strong bacterial infection while on holidays in Thailand. Having to be here a few nights. In IV, antibiotics, blood exams. I can only thank the whole team that was supporting us. Everyone very caring and thoughtful. Her pediatrician was amazing as well. Thank you so much guys for being so caring and thoughtful with our daughter thru this difficult time. It definitely made things easier for us.

I’m very impressed with the children’s department here! The staff is incredibly attentive, patient, and truly cares for each child’s well-being. The check-up went smoothly, and the doctor explained everything clearly. However, I was charged for an additional treatment I hadn’t asked for and wasn’t told about. I was disappointed with the lack of transparency in the billing.

I have just had a surgery in Bangkok Hospital Phuket (wrist bone fracture and dislocation).

At first I was a bit surprised by the pricing (I didn’t really expect to get virtually the same quotation as in Shanghai..). To give an idea, the original estimation was 230K-300K for, basically, 36 hours at the hospital and a 1.5-hour surgery (it will be close to the lower mark in the end I guess – including pre-surgery expenses like CT and post-op which is ongoing). By the way, the deposit is paid on arrival before the surgery and is equal to the lower mark of the estimation, and then they bring detailed daily bills before noon.

After the surgery, I do understand where this price comes from.

First, the hospital itself: it’s a big, spacious, clean, well-designed and very well-equipped hospital. I felt I was staying in a hotel room: wooden pallets on the wall, wardrobe, big bathroom, sofa and armchair for my nearest and dearest, dining table, fridge, TV, cleaning, good AC, bedding etc. And nice food! Mind that I had a standard room.

Second, professionalism: this includes smart equipment, doing everything that’s necessary and not doing what’s not, perfectly organised and fast processes, explanations, clear instructions, etc.

Third, the staff: very polite and kind, caring, always on guard, always check patient’s state, reacting fast, and they all speak English (at least where it is necessary and to the extent that is necessary). I was very stressed before this experience as last time I had to stay at a hospital was at birth. Therefore, the way everything was handled made me feel as at ease as possible. Good environment and attitude are also very important for me.

So it’s totally a good value for money. Wonderful hospital!

I came to Medstar Hospital in Antalya in August 2024 in a very serious physical condition. I had no diagnosis, no knowledge of Turkish, in short, I was helpless. Luckily in the hospital we were lucky to have an interpreter Saida, a person of high organization, competence, and professionalism. We managed with her help to get all the necessary tests done in a week, get consultations with specialists and the diagnosis and treatment was determined within 2 weeks. I am now in the process of treatment at the hospital. I don’t want to imagine how much harder my hard road to recovery would have been if it wasn’t for the help of specialists like our Saida, Dr. Oncologist Prof. Mükremin Yusal, nurses. My husband and I are very grateful to all the staff at the hospital and we are very hopeful for recovery.

This is a message of gratitude. On February 19, Professor Semsettin Okuyucu performed surgery on my three-year-old son to insert ear tubes and remove adenoids.

A hospital where I was made to wait in every department and was not seen on time in any of them 🙂

Right now I am in radiology and have already been waiting for 50 minutes.

My father Omer Ipek was operated on at Medicana hospital by Professor Dr. Ismail Hakki Ozhan, and our experience cannot be put into words — we were incredibly satisfied.

Dr. Ozhan showed the highest professionalism, thoroughness and humane attitude, becoming a true source of healing for my father.

From the preparation for the operation to the postoperative period, he thought through every detail with great attention, explained the whole process clearly and helped us stay calm at every stage. Thanks to this, both my father and our whole family felt completely safe. My father’s words: “I did not expect the operation to go so smoothly” best describe the skill of our doctor.

As someone who came from Canada for a kidney transplant, I can say that I had never been to Turkey before, but I was very impressed by the hospitality of the Turkish people — from the airport all the way to the hospital itself.

When I entered the hospital, I was pleased to meet a medical team completely devoted to their work. All the staff were so professional that I immediately felt confident that my problem would be solved successfully. This was made possible by the availability of the doctors, the ease of communication, and the work of the international patients department led by Mr. Onur and his team.

All the departments we needed were located in one building — from the third basement level to the first floor, which allowed us to complete all pre-operative examinations in less than a week. That is truly impressive.

My donor and I received approval for the transplant. When the time for the operation came, I can confirm that it was carried out professionally and with full dedication. After the operation I felt neither pain nor dizziness, especially compared with my previous treatment experience in my country of residence.

I would like to express special gratitude to our nephrologist Professor Siren Sezer, surgeon Dr. Ulas Sozener, and their teams. After the operation I was placed in the intensive care unit for a day to monitor the function of the new kidney. Thanks to the care of the nurses, especially Mrs. Esra, I felt very well.

After being transferred to a regular ward, I was warmly welcomed and cared for by the nurses on the ninth floor. Thank you, Mrs. Irem, and your entire team.

I am happy to report that as early as the fifth day after the transplant, both my donor and I were healthy enough to be discharged.

For all the good that I saw in this country, and especially at Medicana hospital, I will gladly recommend that my friends with similar problems consider this treatment option.

In the first month of pregnancy, on a friend’s recommendation, I met Dr. Emre Gunakan. Despite my anxiety, which only intensified during pregnancy, thanks to him I spent very comfortable and calm nine months. Every time I started to worry, he helped me calm down — like an older brother or father.

When labor began, his very presence in the operating room and in the corridor gave me a sense of security. The whole operating team was very kind and dedicated. I especially thank the anesthesiologist Mr. Gazi — he greeted me very warmly and helped me get through the cesarean section without extra stress.

On the first night the nurses were attentive, and I am especially grateful to Mrs. Bedriye, who helped with breastfeeding, and to nurse Ayuca.

Now about the hospital’s downsides. After the birth of the child, the first examination by pediatrician Mr. Ali and his nurse turned out to be extremely superficial and indifferent. Later, another pediatrician, Mrs. Banu, while examining my baby, discussed New Year’s Eve plans with a colleague as if we were not even there, and did not even look us in the face. It is precisely because of this experience that I will no longer choose this children’s department.

These are my impressions and observations. And to the whole team of the obstetrics and gynecology department and the floor staff — many thanks and love.

On 29.01.2026 I had a premature birth, and I want to thank with all my heart Dr. Deniz, who was by my side throughout this period and supported me not only as a doctor but also as a person.

From pregnancy to the birth itself, he accompanied me at every stage with patience, understanding and great dedication. He always answered my questions sincerely, eased my worries with his calmness and helped me feel safe. I felt support that was not only medical but also psychological.

At such a special moment in my life, I was incredibly lucky to meet such an attentive, knowledgeable and trustworthy doctor. I sincerely recommend him 🥰

On December 17, 2025, I paid for and underwent an MRI of the knee joint. When the results were ready, I naturally asked for the MRI recording on a disc.

It turned out that you have to pay for this too. For an ordinary disc worth about 5 lira, I was charged 350 lira.

Until then I had always agreed to all the conditions, considering it a private hospital, but such a fee is too much. Even private medical offices these days do not charge for such a service.

Very shameful. In the past, when it came to health, I always chose this hospital. Now I will come here only if I cannot find an appointment elsewhere.

Last week I came to Medicana Ankara hospital for a follow-up examination, and overall my impressions were positive.

The hospital is modern and clean, the waiting areas are comfortable and well organized, and great attention is paid to hygiene. The staff are attentive, help with navigation, and registration is quick. The doctors are professional, explain everything in detail and patiently answer questions.

The only drawback is that during peak hours you have to wait a long time in some departments. The medical equipment is modern and inspires confidence.

Overall, this is a reliable, comfortable and high-quality hospital for both planned and emergency visits.

My review concerns the endocrinology department and Dr. Mina Gulfem Temizturk.

I came for a general preventive examination, but the doctor was very gloomy and tense, so after the appointment you seem to lose all your energy for the whole day.

This is not a doctor with whom you can feel comfortable communicating. I do not plan to consult her again.

Our paths with Bahar Şentürk crossed in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. And it is good that there are such doctors. He is an incredibly responsive and warm person. He helps with all sincerity. Many, many thanks to him. I also have to thank the nurse Elif Topsoy. Today she helped me with my sugar loading and blood draw procedure. She calmly explained and followed every detail step by step. Yesterday I underwent a minor surgery in the general surgery department. I am grateful to my doctor OSMAN YUKSEL and also to my nurse SUMMAYA. You took such a wonderful care of me, thank you very much.

We can’t thank our women’s health and obstetrics doctor, Associate Professor Dr. Faika, enough. She always supported us both before and after labor. She is not just a doctor, but more like a member of your family, supportive both psychologically and spiritually. Despite her busyness, she is always on call, with a smile on her face and with inexhaustible positivity – a unique woman, doctor and mom. Alp and I are very happy. We are glad to have you, doctor. Doctors like you should be appreciated in this country. To receive dozens of patients and newborns day and night, paying attention to each with such dedication and labor – it is very difficult. Your labor is impossible to appreciate. A huge thank you to Medicana and to you.
Also endless gratitude to the breastfeeding nurse and educator Filiz Hanim. The first moment after giving birth is so important. Were you able to breastfeed? Or will you be able to manage your milk properly to help your baby? She supported us psychologically and was always there for us, keeping us from thinking about such questions. My son is now 8 months old and we are still getting useful information from her and that makes us very happy.

On January 6, my wife underwent a cesarean section surgery. We went to Dr. Emre Günakan, Associate Professor, on recommendation and we were very satisfied throughout the whole process, from start to finish. Thank you to the anesthesiologist Dr. Gaza Akkurt and the entire operating room team for their care and attention. My wife was pain free and quite comfortable until discharge. The nurses and all the staff on the ward were also very helpful.

I had a bone marrow transplant in the bone marrow department, everything went well. I would like to thank Ekin Kurchali. I would like to thank the nurses of the department Merve Ezbek, Onur Atak, Hatice Yarar, Ishinsu Shark. They were very helpful, very diligent and very skilled in their work.

My third child was born, and all three were born in private hospitals. Medicana was considered the best among them, and we paid a high price. But it was here that for the first time I paid for the baby’s first check-ups — the jaundice test and so on, whereas in the other two hospitals all the checks within the first week were free. An indifferent, absurd atmosphere, staff with stony faces. In the maternity ward almost no one came to me — neither for the baby nor for me. No friendliness, no attention, no willingness to help… I did not like it at all.

Today I had an angiography with my doctor Murat Can Guney, and I want to thank him once again for his attention and care.

I especially want to thank nurse Mehtap Corlu — she cared for me as if I were her own child. I send her five stars for her attitude.

I also thank the other nurses and the staff member who accompanied me around the department. Although I do not know their names, you were all very attentive, considerate and polite people.

In the waiting area of the obstetrics and gynecology department, fathers sit while pregnant women stand.

In my opinion, men should not be in the women’s clinic area. If they want to see the child, they can be invited inside one at a time, and the rest of the time they should wait outside.

Hello, we came from out of town to see a thoracic surgery doctor, Dr. Rekha. I can’t say anything bad about the doctor, he is a true professional, it’s good that our paths crossed with him. We stayed on the 10th floor, the nurses Gulnaz hanm, Esra hanm, Aybyuke hanm, Simge – all very attentive. Nurse Meral – I was very satisfied with your help, thank you very much!

Had an operation at the orthopedics department and stayed for a day. The close attention of the medical staff (especially Ms. Ece, my nurse) and the competence level of my doctor, Prof Dr. Şadan Ay were amazing. I don’t recommend anybody to get sick but if you are sick this hospital is the right chouce to receive the best treatment.

The hospital is very crowded. In the children’s department there is chaos and crowds of people every time. A routine appointment and blood test take hours.

Last week, in an emergency situation, the doctor prescribed an IV for my son, but there were no places in the emergency department, so we were admitted as inpatients. For an hour-long stay in the ward, the money was charged to the insurance company.

My dad was suffering from tumor in between his eyes. He was operated on by Op. Dr. Hakan Yakupoğlu. My dad woke up a few hours after the oppression and he wasn’t in too much pain. And he even started walking the next day. We thank Allah for leading us to a nice hospital and a great doctor. Totally recommend.

I’m a patient after kidney transplantation, so it’s extremely important to me to keep a certain level of medicine concentration in the blood because I can loose the kidney. I came to Medicana to pass the specific blood tests and I needed the results to be ready the same day. The guy on the reception promised they would send the results to my email the same day but after they actually took the blood it appeared that the most important test would be ready only tomorrow! This is totally unacceptable!!

On 27.07.2021 I had hernia surgery. We were very satisfied with our doctor Hakan Emmez, as well as with the 7th floor nurses Onur Ates and Mrs. Zeynep.

The only complaint is that the paperwork and procedures at the hospital take too long. But overall I am satisfied with the result.

The hospital is modern, but managed, in my opinion, with a provincial mindset and a clear emphasis on making a profit. If it were not for a few very valuable surgeons and experienced doctors, we would not have chosen it.

During the pandemic, safety measures were reduced to posters and hand-sanitizer stations: temperature was not measured at the entrance, the HES code was not requested. The elevators were overcrowded, including with staff. Relatives were allowed into intensive care only in masks, without protective clothing or shoe covers.

An elderly patient after a serious operation was given food that was hard to digest — beans with rice. The approach to the emergency room is inconvenient, and cars get in the way of ambulances.

I hope we will not have to deal with this hospital again.

Although I arrived at radiology exactly on time, I had to wait in line for 45 minutes.

The fact that the MRI would be with contrast should have been mentioned at the time of booking, but I was told only just before the procedure. I was simply given a prescription and sent to the pharmacy to buy the drug.

A very strange organization.

My father was in the hospital for three days after the operation.

The nursing care could have been better. It is wrong when the main part of monitoring the patient is effectively shifted onto the accompanying relative.

The hospital is overcrowded and now differs little from a public one. The only difference is how much money you have to pay out of your own pocket.

There is practically no parking — you have to circle around the hospital for a long time looking for a spot.

The hospital has good and qualified doctors, but the radiology department is a real nightmare.

The staff work very inefficiently, which greatly affects the quality of service. Even for a simple MRI you have to wait for hours. Radiology always has the longest queue in the hospital.

The doctors, nurses and medical staff here are excellent, but the administrative staff, unfortunately, let it down. In terms of hygiene everything is well organized — there are sanitizers on every floor.

On February 15 I had surgery to remove my gallbladder. Now I feel well and want to thank Professor Dr. Onder Surgit, who operated on me.

I also thank all the 4th floor staff for their work and care.

My wife had an angiography. While I waited for the results outside, no one seemed to understand the state the patient’s relatives were in.

I went after the doctor and asked how it went. He briefly replied that everything was fine and the nurse would explain everything. When I found the nurse, she said I would have to wait another six hours.

In the end I was terribly exhausted and remained very dissatisfied.

The cardiologists here are good. But there seems to be not enough staff, and the waiting time is too long.

My wife underwent surgery for a brain tumor. Many thanks to Professor Dr. Gokhan Kurt and his assistant for their attention, care and kind attitude.

May the Almighty not deprive us of such people. It is good that you exist.

Of course, everyone’s experience is different; I also read other reviews. My twins stayed in this hospital for 6 months in the neonatal intensive care unit. I went back and forth for 6 months, but since we gave birth in a state hospital and then transferred here, we didn’t have to pay. If this option hadn’t existed, I could never have stayed here financially — if you have money, this hospital is private for you.

But regarding the department, I must say: the cleaning staff, nurses, and doctors are amazing. The neonatal intensive care unit is really excellent. First, thanks to God, and then to the doctors, I owe them my gratitude. Many thanks to Professors Tuğba and Kalender and everyone else — you reunited us with our children. Best hospital i’ve ever had treatment in, and the first time in my life i had a surgery, which was a pretty serious one, but i was taken care so good by the amazing doctors here leading Çağatay Taşkıran, Melis Canturk, Oytun Turkkan and all the rest of their staff including the great and highly experienced and sweet nurses in the gynocology unit. I was so worried since it was the first surgery I’ve ever gone through and they made me feel so safe at all times. Also the stay here is a great experience, very comfortable, simple and super clean and everything you would need under your hand. I had a delivery in this hospital. My gynecologist Dr.Adil Hakan İlhan is the best doctor in the world, he totally deserves 5 stars, and I choose KUH for delivery only because of him.
I stayed 2 days after delivery. But the thing that disturb me so much was that some of the nurses were using too much perfume and my newborn baby was even smelling after they were bringing her from checkups. I fell the strong smell of cigarettes from some of them as well. They don’t tie their hair as well. I think that newborn babies and mothers should be kept away from such strong smells and no perfume should be used while working with newborns as well as smoking should be completely prohibited!

I highly recommend Koç University hospital. My mother had her second surgery (benign brain tumor) in January and the experience was wonderful. From the medicine staff to the doctors, everyone is professional and kind. My mother had all the tests done before the surgery even though the same tests were done in my country. The operation was led by dr. İhsan Solaroğlu, to whom we are infinitely grateful. Doctor, professional and human. I must also recommend the staff of the Gamma Knife department led by Dr. Selcuk Peker. After the operation, my mother had to go for Gamma knife treatments and for now everything is fine. We thank God for everything. As a negative experience I can only mention that it is very rare that any of the staff speaks English.. Although everyone is young and kind but no one speaks English. Too bad. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

If I could I would give 10 stars to this hospital. Especially to Dr. Emel Ahishali, the professionalism, knowledge, kindness, respect, I could go on and on about this person. She has earned my respect in every point of view. All Hospitals staff are super nice. When I arrived I got that warm welcome that I just felt safe and there is no Hospitals in the world where you can just feel like that, other than KOC University. The doctors and medical team are truly fantastic people, very kind, sensitive, and empathetic. They treated my daughter with great care and compassion. The doctor visited us daily, constantly making sure everything was fine.

The nurses were absolutely wonderful. My daughter has a phobia of needles, and inserting a cannula is almost impossible due to her tiny, deeply hidden veins. Despite this, the nurses went all out to make the procedure as smooth as possible, and did not hesitate to call for support from the pediatric department.

The room was spacious and had everything needed to feel comfortable. The only downside was the lack of a comfortable sleeping place for the companion. But then again, it is a hospital, not a hotel!

We had the privilege of working with one of the most professional and tactful young interpreters I have ever met. Dorian played a key role in making the experience stress-free.

The organization was flawless, including airport transfers. There were no hidden costs, and everything was transparent.

I give 3 stars because the service is very fast, the interpreter was very efficient, and the gastroenterologist was fine too. I am not giving 5 stars only because of the prices. Extremely expensive. I can understand 200 euros for a consultation, but a colonoscopy for 2500 euros? And an upper abdominal MRI for 1800 euros? I double-checked prices at a London private hospital, and they are cheaper. People need to know that this hospital in Turkey is not cheap at all. However, the service is excellent and very fast.

Very lucky to find this hospital during a holiday in Istanbul in December. My daughter had an injury and we were looking for a hospital in the Istanbul area. The problem was the language barrier. After searching online we found Memorial. From the moment we entered the hospital, we felt at ease. We were assigned an interpreter, Denis, who was with us from the very start. Then Dr. Hakan, the orthopedist, explained every procedure step by step, making us less worried. The hospital also explained the cost at every stage, so you do not feel burdened. They provided us with all the documents, including an English translation for our insurance. We were just very lucky to have found Memorial. Thank you, Denis, Dr. Hakan and the Memorial staff.

At Memorial Hospital in Atasehir my wife stayed for 5 days. Our doctor, general surgeon Vahit, is an outstanding physician. His assistant nurses Doguhan and Merve are, in my opinion, a super team.

Everything at Memorial is wonderful, but the admission and discharge procedures could not have been more poorly organized. Zero information, zero communication. You need to review this process.

My experience was great , stayed for four days ,I have been looked after very well . Loved my doctor Dr Ercan Karacaoglu , he is an incredible person and great doctor , you can trust him your eyes shut.

We visited three times this hospital. Everything was fine. Doctors are professional, they gave reasonable advices on treatment. As foreign patients we had a good experience with the translator at this hospital during the recent appointments with a pediatrician for our baby and a mammalog. Her name is Shapagat. She translated all my questions to doctors and able to explain all medical terms and doctors’ answers in a way that was easy for us to understand. Her informative and understandable communication skills, combined with her professionalism and positive attitude, made our doctor’s visits much more comfortable and stress-free.

Shapagat was easy to communicate with through WhatsApp, making scheduling appointments and asking questions incredibly convenient. She provided excellent support throughout the entire process, and her polite and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and at ease.

We are grateful for her hard work and dedication and will certainly request her services again in the future

On February 7 I consulted Professor Dr. Soylu for an examination of my heart condition. He was with me throughout all the tests, and his explanations and suggestions were exceptionally good. In addition, the staff who assisted me during my stress tests and echo studies at the cardiology clinic were very polite and responsive. I highly recommend.

For two years in a row now I have had my check-up here. Last year it was very hard and tiring in terms of organization, but this year the check-up desk employee Irmak Gündüz and all the rest of the staff did a wonderful job. The doctor who did the heart ultrasound greeted me extremely politely with the words “how are you, welcome,” and while performing the examination explained in an accessible way how the heart works. The doctor who did the abdominal ultrasound was also very attentive and courteous. The gynecologist Özge was also very polite and attentive. I especially thank the check-up staff for the quick organization of the whole process, as well as all the doctors and staff for their politeness and smiles.

The hospital has a very good staff of doctors. But based on my experience dealing with different departments, when you need to contact a doctor or a department by phone — it is practically impossible to get through (unless the doctor or assistant has given their personal number). Even though I already had a contract with the hospital, I had to face coordination problems. There are very good doctors and nurses, but making sick people wait in line at the desks does not befit such a large hospital complex. First of all, I would recommend checking the work of the registration desk staff, since scheduling failures are often a consequence of incorrect work precisely there.

I would separately note that the hospital’s home medical care department is really very attentive and does its job well. For any needs at home — blood draws, an antibiotic IV drip, etc. — they respond promptly and arrive fully equipped. Especially the nurse Zeynep, with her smile and moral support, truly loves her job and performs it with special care.

Our oncologist referred my mother for radiotherapy to the Medical Park Göztepe hospital. Those who took care of us there — the technician İrem, Mr. Coşkun, the nurse Merve, the desk staff Şeyma Öztürk and Çiğdem Esen — I thank from the bottom of my heart for their attention and care.

In general, there were no problems with any of the hospital’s departments. But the room labeled ULTRASONOGRAPHY-2 is a department that will truly test your patience. I’m starting to suspect that they select people for it as if for the North Korean army. Those who have a nervous breakdown while waiting get weeded out. Because you wait in complete uncertainty. They give no information at all. You can wait anywhere from 2.5 hours to 45 minutes — depending on your luck. Whether you have an appointment or not can shorten your wait by maybe 60 minutes at most.

I honestly don’t understand it. They don’t even tell you that you need to hand in your slip inside (don’t assume it automatically goes into the system through the computer). After you wait 20 minutes for the “mysterious door to open,” you have to quickly thrust your slip into the hands of the woman sitting inside. If you don’t do this — you’ll definitely go crazy.

By the way, the doctor who treated me is a wonderful person. Examines carefully. But the time and the waiting are terrible. Each examination has an average allotted time — this can be set up with a simple program. Over the year I had to come there twice. A third time I won’t be able to bear.

My husband underwent a kidney transplant on 11.04.2025. The doctors gave us very attentive and clear information. Many thanks to Dr. Soykan and Dr. Süheyla. There were difficulties with the nurses: even though, by the doctor’s order, visitors were not supposed to be allowed into the ward, they were still let into the transplant ward. My husband has diabetes, and because of that there were problems — the nurses did not come on time. Hygiene is not all good. There is not enough staff. We were satisfied with the doctors. We thank them.

It was the first medical procedure of my life, and I was quite anxious. However, thanks to my doctor’s polite and reassuring explanations and his friendly attitude, I felt safe and decided to go through with the procedure.

The birth took place on November 2, after which we stayed in the hospital. Many thanks to our doctor Eda Akalın for her approach and attention throughout the entire process.

We were also very satisfied with our ward and especially the nurses who supported us with breastfeeding and baby care. We thank everyone separately.

The newborn and pediatrics department had been renovated and became very comfortable, but the temperature control in the rooms is a bit problematic — it’s worth noting.

We were asked to move the appointment from 11:50 to 9:30. When we explained that we would be coming from another city, we barely managed to arrange 10:25. And now, at 11:20, we are still waiting for this appointment 🤷‍♂️

P.S.: The reason they wanted to change the appointment is that Dr. Türker Kılıç needed to leave after 11:00. I suppose because a public holiday begins at noon today.

P.S. 2: When we suggested an online consultation to make it more convenient for them, they said it would cost extra money.

So, in essence, it seems that all they care about is what is convenient for themselves.

Today I had a very bad experience. I barely managed to pick up the children early from school and, through the traffic jams, somehow brought them to the hospital, and the assistant in the orthopedics department said: “The doctor (Abdülhamit Mısır) is resting, go to your next appointment and then come back.” Fine, I said, and 40 minutes after finishing my errands, I came back. This time, with a half-smile, they said: “Oh, you came too late, the doctor will see you in an hour.” I didn’t wait, I’ll go to another hospital. I hope you experience something more than I did.

With our dear doctor Fatma Nur Temel’s move to this hospital, we too got acquainted with Göztepe Medical Park. Our doctor is very experienced, attentive, a wonderful physician. On September 17 I gave birth without problems. Our pediatrician Ayberk is also very attentive, loves children so much; his attention, care, and guidance — everything was excellent. Also, one cannot pass over the children’s nurse Büşra — she informed me very well, my milk increased, mothers should definitely drop by to see her — I was very satisfied. Apart from this, the information desk is fine, but we were very dissatisfied with the night-shift nurses on the floor where I gave birth: for hours they didn’t change my baby’s diaper, didn’t inform us, and were not there at all. The day staff were a bit better, but there was little attention. Also, a woman in a headscarf in her forties took me into the CTG room — she was very rude and spoke harshly to my husband. In the delivery room they are also a bit rude; you can’t behave so strangely with anxious relatives — they couldn’t coordinate among themselves: while ours were waiting, the baby had already been born, they didn’t inform us in time, it was unclear where. If the hospital put its inattentive staff in order, it would be better — because their doctors are good.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Simge Berrak Beyoğlu Oruç for her care, patience and professionalism during my childbirth — one of the most special moments of my life. I am grateful for the sense of safety, calm and understanding she gave at every stage.

A very disappointing experience. Unprofessional nurses and poor service overall. Even basic things were ignored — the clock in the oncology patient’s room did not work and was not fixed despite repeated complaints. This is just one of several examples of careless and indifferent staff. I do not recommend this hospital.

I want to evaluate the treatment I received at the Medical Park Göztepe hospital. First of all, I thank my doctor from the pulmonology department, Merih, for her smile, patience and for answering each of our questions in detail. Merih is a very trustworthy, wonderful doctor. I also want to separately thank the respiratory-test nurse Dilara. Every time I said “it probably won’t work,” she insisted “let’s try again” — probably no one would show such patience. If it doesn’t work — even she doesn’t give up. Sweet in communication, patient, a very hardworking nurse. (When drawing blood, her hand is very light. I didn’t even feel the needle.) I am grateful to these two for the confidence they gave me throughout the entire treatment.

We express our most sincere gratitude to Professor Asım, Ms. Pınar and Ms. Ayşe. Thanks to their outstanding dedication, professionalism and humane approach during two successful operations after my father’s “cancer” diagnosis, we got through this difficult period much stronger. The support they gave us both medically and morally is priceless. To meet such valuable healthcare professionals is truly great fortune.

I had a vascular stenosis in my right hip joint. They said there was no doctor who could perform angiography of this vessel at the Istanbul Koşuyolu hospital. As a result of my search, I reached Professor Mehmet Yazıcı. That same day, angiography of the narrowed vessel in my leg was performed. And when he checked my heart, he noticed that 2 vessels were already on the verge of blockage — he placed stents in these 2 vessels and essentially brought me back to life. This is truly a doctor without equal. Again and again I thank him.

Among private hospitals, this is one of those I prefer. In many specialties the doctors are good and attentive to patients.

I came for a check-up. The reception was very warm, refined people. Endless gratitude to these women. But because a doctor was supposed to see me, I waited 2–3 hours. The appointment was at 9:30. Blood, ECG, lungs — all finished by 11. The doctor came at 13:30 and said nothing. Sent me to another, who also mumbled something. If you can’t tell anything from three blood tests — then why steal people’s time? These tests should be more comprehensive even in the smallest package. I went to the gynecologist’s appointment. Appointment at 14:00 — there too I’m waiting for the doctor. If the doctor doesn’t come on time — then why give an appointment? I also have my own things to do and a schedule. Are we donkeys?

We have been familiar with the hematology department since January because of my mother’s multiple myeloma — we went through a long period of treatment both as inpatients and outpatients. During this period, I thank first of all our doctors, as well as the desk staff, the nurse who drew blood, the assistants and every worker on the department floor. The way our doctors share each stage with us and give information step by step, the way the assistants help us day and night in our difficult moments, the attitude of every staff member on the floor during our stay, their smiles and love — I am grateful that they made this difficult period bearable for us. The emergency department is a bit crowded, and while you lie there, you are exposed to noise. The doctor does not come to you personally and does not check on you. However, the doctors are qualified, and the nurses work well.

I went to the breast-disease doctor, was referred for an ultrasound, made an appointment there, but a day before the appointment the hospital called and, without any clear reason, canceled the appointment — they promised to arrange a new one, but no follow-up came. After 2–3 weeks I called the hospital again, they told me — a request would be filed, there would be follow-up, but unfortunately no one ever called. They took money for the appointment, and the check-up window passed because of their own mistakes. When I last called the hospital, they said I needed to come for a new appointment and pay again. I started to object — they filed a request again, no follow-up, another 2 weeks passed. In short, the one who lost — is me, with the appointment payment!!!

The children’s doctors are very good, but the breastfeeding room is right next to the toilet, an incredibly tiny space. Mothers stand in line or look for another free doctor’s booth. A lot of difficulties. The patient-rights department said they would look into it. To the question “when” there is no answer.

From the neurology department, my doctor Leyla had a wonderful style and approach — she is a very polite and attentive doctor; first of all, a huge thank-you to her.

I want to thank Dr. İkizler, Burçay, Saltanat, Nurayka and the desk staff for their kindness and help today with my dermatology appointment. As a tourist, I am grateful to Burçay for arranging everything for me in advance. Since I speak very little Turkish, Saltanat and the desk staff helped me prepare for the appointment. He took the time to answer all my questions and resolve all the concerns that bothered me, which immediately reassured me. Even before I decided to come for a consultation, he was extremely attentive on the phone and took care of all my worries; I am very grateful for that! Considering that before the call I had spent months just “thinking” about this operation… A week has already passed, and I can still reach out to him if I have questions or concerns — that’s great when you’re a person prone to overthinking!

The interventional radiology department is very good, they provide quality services — especially Hatice, a very responsive woman. They did a biopsy on me here, and Dr. Mehmet performed it beautifully. Very satisfied.

Although this is a private hospital, the staff often behave indifferently.
I’ve seen several different doctors, but they tend to give brief, technical explanations and end the consultations quickly — it feels like they’re focused on patient numbers rather than quality care.
From a cost–benefit perspective, the hospital is well-equipped and modern, but the doctors’ approach to patient communication needs improvement.
