Israel Oncology Hospital LISOD

Good afternoon! Dr. Taran Tamara is a very good specialist and a person with a capital letter! I came to her at the Lisod clinic from Odessa, since here I couldn’t find someone who would solve my problem.

Good afternoon. I came to you for a consultation from Lviv. And I took a return ticket with a small interval (children at home and I needed to return as soon as possible), so all the staff: the driver, the administrators, the personal administrator and the doctor helped me catch the train. That is, I received a full professional consultation from Andriy Valentinovich, and all the related staff created conditions so that I would not worry and arrive to the children on time. This is priceless! All the way home I thought about this with gratitude 🫶

I was helped, I am very grateful to my doctors, Yermakov Maxim, Bilas Stella, surgeon Zhygulin Andriy, and other specialists, nurses and the male nurse, as well as the administrator Oleksandra, for professionalism, humane attitude and help in all matters, and especially for the optimism they gave me during treatment.
I sincerely recommend the clinic, because with such a serious illness you need professionals. If there is such an opportunity — contact them.

I underwent treatment at the LISOD hospital — radiation therapy. This is one of the best hospitals in Ukraine, which has modern equipment and the best professionals.
Great thanks to everyone — the doctors, the medical nurses, the administrators, the hospital management for the quality help, friendliness and support.
Very good team at the hospital. Once again, sincere thanks.

Professionals of their craft.
Comfort, coziness, respect for the patient.

I want to express words of gratitude to the Lisod clinic. A clinic where patient care is polished to the smallest detail. This is especially noticeable when you are a doctor yourself and also dream of a high level of medicine for your patients. But it turns out that it also happens that you find yourself in the patient’s place. It is somewhat hard to accept.
What I see, and I do see: an elusively refined service, the doctor’s qualified reflections for the best solution to the problem, competent support from the beginning, a maximally homely atmosphere, where I met patients who smile despite everything.
Such a result is worth a great deal.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the oncodermatologist Anastasia Volodymyrivna for the professional approach and excellent result! Some time has already passed since the removal and now I still want to comment.
The removal procedure went quickly, painlessly and in a comfortable atmosphere. The doctor explained each stage in detail, answered all questions and gave recommendations on skin care after the operation, after which not a trace was left.
I really liked the attentive attitude, humanity and modern equipment. Just tastefully done. I am completely satisfied with the result and can confidently recommend this doctor to everyone!

We want to express sincere gratitude:
Pryndiuk Serhiy Ivanovych — oncologist, urologist.
Kasyan Natalia Mykolaivna — head of the chemotherapy department.
Syniavska Anna Olehivna — oncologist, chemotherapist.
Klymenko Inna — administrator.
Kironda Olena — administrator.
And also to the nurses for their care and professionalism.
On behalf of the whole family, we thank you for being able to stabilize and prolong the life of a person dear to us! The quality of service is at the highest level, friendly staff, doctors — true professionals of their craft.

In the life of every person there is a period when we reach a dead end and do not know what to do and how to cope with the situation, especially if it concerns life, especially if your own life.
My main feeling that I experience now is GRATITUDE.
The Lisod clinic, as the best professionals, was recommended to me by my close and respected person — Dr. Ilya Davidovich Gotsadze.
I want to express my GRATITUDE to all the staff of the Lisod clinic: for the professionalism and golden hands of Serhiy Viktorovych Baido, Subotina Inna Vitaliivna, Dmytro Andriyovych Holub, Volodymyr Ivanovych Zhuk, Illia Andriyovych Diachenko, the sorceress Yuliia Viktorivna Dubynska.
We thank each and everyone — from the diamond administrator Annushka at the main entrance to the clinic, Viktoria, Maryna, ALL THE NURSES, ending with the cooks and the cleaning ladies who create comfort and a friendly atmosphere during difficult treatment in the fight for life.
Professionalism, humanity, empathy, care and support in this difficult period that we are now going through together, and you really feel — “we”, not “I alone”… It is woven from professionals who at every stage become your support and guide in this difficult period of your such fragile and precious life.
God’s blessing to you and the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos 🙏🙏🙏
MANY AND BLESSED YEARS.
With respect, Maryna. Odessa.

So far we are undergoing diagnostics, but the renovation seems to be from the early two-thousands, everything is somewhat old and neglected, the canteen is like in Soviet times in a hospital.
In the second building there is no toilet(!), but there is a coffee machine 👍. The prices for examination are higher than in the well-known premium clinics. I was very surprised.

The price of just an online consultation is 5150. While at a good private clinic in Zaporizhzhia they did not take a single penny from me for a consultation at all! Although they gathered a council for my sake there.

I want to thank the entire hospital staff for the atmosphere of coziness and calm, for competence and professionalism!
I turned to LISOD to perform a surgical operation — a bilateral mastectomy with simultaneous reconstruction with implants. The head of the mammology center Andriy Zhygulin is a doctor from God. Before the operation, he explained all the nuances, told what to expect and what options are possible.
I am grateful to the nurses of the surgical department, who were nearby every minute, helped and supported.
I liked the conditions — a comfortable and convenient ward, which has everything necessary. Very tasty food.
There were no postoperative complications. Everything is wonderful, thank you to the true professionals!

I express sincere gratitude to the doctors of the surgical department of the Israeli oncology hospital LISOD Volodymyr Zhuk, Serhiy Baido, Dmytro Holub, Vadym Korpiak, as well as to my personal oncologist Andriy Izhyk, his personal assistant Oleksandra Pashchenko and my personal administrator Oleksandra Hryb for high professionalism, humanity and respect for patients.
I wish all of you health, inspiration, optimism, professional growth, peace and victory!
With respect, your patient Rakovska Nataliia Pavlivna.

The clinic is good, well at least they take payments well, in general it’s good that it exists. You can take tests (provided that you have money, if not — then basically lie down and die).
That’s not the point! Among other things, instead of thinking about the people who accompany patients (you are fighting the coronavirus, it is clear that this is dangerous for sick people), make a waiting room somewhere separate for accompanying people who sometimes spend more than an hour behind the wheel before arrival.
But no, everything is aimed at squeezing out the maximum.
A separate topic is the toilet. In two years of COVID it was never made normal, and there stands (thank God, at least there is one) a stinking, without water, dirty, partially broken portable toilet.
And this is in such a cool clinic, where PET-CT already cost 25000 UAH back then (in a country where the average salary is 6000 UAH), and I’m not even talking about the cost of treatment.
Business has no human face.

I do not recommend it. My mother has oncology. We started treatment in this institution because we heard that in Ukraine this is the best clinic that specializes in oncology.
But as a result… You can’t get through to the doctors during the breaks between chemo courses, as if they don’t care at all, especially if it’s a day off. You can’t get sick on a day off!
My mother developed spots after chemo and a temperature of 38. The doctor cannot answer even in private messages what to do. Does not pick up the phone.
At the last chemo my mother was almost killed. Although upon admission to the hospital we warned that she is allergic to certain medications. They almost gave her this drug, my mother literally caught the nurse by the hand. Made a remark, they seemed to hear. But then in the recommendations these medications were written down again.
They work, apparently, according to a template — the same treatment for all patients, no individual approach, despite the crazy money.
And last time after chemo, on top of everything, with high blood pressure she was almost discharged from the ward. We already lay there a week instead of three days. They couldn’t even properly lower the blood pressure or recommend some medications so that the person would even get home alive.

Yes, indeed professionals, a new European clinic. But regarding cancer and possible complications after chemotherapy they do not inform.

From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate the team of the clinic with the past and upcoming holidays, I wish you great health and immeasurable happiness. I would like to personally thank Viktoria Georgievna Kosinova, thank you for my second birth! The doctors at the regional clinic told me that I was not a tenant, and you gave me a full, healthy life. This is simply a miracle, you are a specialist from God. Alla Borysivna was the first to refute the incorrect diagnosis of the state hospital and prescribed the correct examinations and made the correct diagnosis. I also want to thank the administrator Halyna Molodetskaya for her understanding, concern and constant support in any matter. Also, many thanks to psychologist Ie, without the support of a qualified specialist, I would not have coped with such an illness. May God grant you and your families good health and prosperity. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

A wonderful clinic where real professionals work. Valentyn Yaroslavovich is a doctor from God. A huge thank you and a low bow. Unfortunately, our family didn’t even know that such doctors existed. In a difficult time, he was always there (the only doctor who did not turn his back on us!) We wish you and your family good health! And professional success and amazing discoveries to the Lysod clinic!!!

My sincere gratitude and affection forever) Accurately, professionally, and on time. Anya overcomes all difficulties with affection, a smile, attitude, and confidence to go to work, giving patients confidence in their recovery. And health and longevity to you!!

Thank you for the great LISOD team that makes my mother’s treatment possible! Huge thanks to Andrii V. Saulov and Alla A. Lychko for their professionalism, individual approach, understanding and the right words! We thank Tetyana Kushnir and Tetyana Kudryavtseva for their promptness, patience, responsiveness and constant willingness to help! I greatly appreciate your work! Sincerely, Larisa

I want to thank the doctors and all the staff of the Lysod clinic. This is a wonderful professional well-organized team. High level of sanitary and epidemiological control, crossing the threshold of the institution. Special thanks to my doctors who helped me cope with the disease. These are: Alla Borysivna, Serhii Viktorovych, Dmytro Andriyovych, anesthesiologists Volodymyr Ivanovych, Oleksiy Tarasovych. These doctors are from God, low bow to them, health, peace, good in their homelands and all earthly blessings. I also thank the rehabilitation specialist Svitlana Grigorievna. Nurses Roman and Oleksandr, administrator Olga Ivanova.

The Syrykh family is sincerely grateful to the doctors, nurses, and service staff for their professionalism, sensitivity, and excellent attitude towards patients. Lena Kironda worked as an administrator from the very beginning – we are very grateful to her for her good attitude and understanding. We wish health, happiness, respect from people, all the best.

When you imagine a hospital where cancer is diagnosed or treated, you recall terrible pictures with blue walls and queues in the corridors. But this is not about LISOD.
The hospital grounds resemble more a country hotel. No queues and no angry orderlies. The staff is friendly and smiling, ready to come to the rescue and answer visitors’ questions even a hundred thousand times.
This is a place from which the patient leaves calm and confident: he is not alone, nearby — a team of real specialists.
We turned to the hospital in 2013 on the advice of an acquaintance who at LISOD successfully underwent treatment for cervical cancer and entered remission.
At that time my mother had stage 4 breast cancer. Thanks to the recommendations of LISOD specialists and the prescribed treatment, my mother lived another 5 years.
I only regret that in 2006, when my mother was diagnosed with the disease, the hospital in Ukraine was not yet operating. Perhaps then she would have had a chance of recovery…
I am sincerely grateful to all the doctors of LISOD for the important work they do! May God protect you!

A clinic purely for pumping out funds. I was simply shocked by the mercenary attitude of the doctors.
We came with one single question regarding immunotherapy, since there were doubts, although a biopsy before immunohistochemistry had already been done and the drug to which the tumor is sensitive (36%) was clearly identified and prescribed. We came with all the tests, CT and MRI.
The consultation actually consisted of communication between the doctor and the translator. I was asked only a few questions. When I realized the absurdity of the discussion, I started communicating with the doctor without a translator.
I was shocked when the doctor suggested thinking about switching to another chemotherapy. In our case, the current chemotherapy shows positive dynamics and a reduction of the tumor. But just because the patient feels bad after treatment, it was suggested to try another regimen. And who feels good after chemotherapy at all?
To hear the answer to a simple question, we were invited to the next consultation and billed 12 thousand hryvnias — two more consultations, a conclusion and other additional services, although we had fresh CT, MRI, all blood tests and other examination results on hand.
And, of course, they suggested experimenting with another chemotherapy specifically in their clinic.
They just pump out funds, because people are ready to give their last.
P.S. I have not seen such schemes in any oncology clinic in recent months. Horror.

I was treated at the Lysod clinic, I am very satisfied with the attitude of the doctors, accurate diagnosis, an individual approach to each patient, the doctors do not intimidate or extort money, although the prices are a bit high, but you know what you are paying for at the cash register and you don’t need to “thank” anyone anymore. no voluntary contributions as usual in public hospitals! I recommend

The prices are just astronomical, unaffordable for most people. Moreover, while they examine you, you will only pay and pay, but in the end they may simply refuse you because they find some risk for the operation or something else.
We were forced to turn to another clinic, but the funds had already been spent in vain.
I wish everyone health 🙂

My sincerest thanks to all the staff of the hospital and, in particular, to Serhii Ivanovich Prindyuk personally! My husband’s treatment took place in the difficult conditions of the coronavirus pandemic and in the presence of severe concomitant pathology in the patient. A clear plan for examination and treatment, surgery and quick discharge home. Thanks to the highly professional approach and unsurpassed skill of the surgeon, it was possible to obtain an excellent result. This is not our first visit to this and other clinics, so there is something to compare with. Lisod – as always, at a height. Here, quality diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation are combined in the best way. It is very important that the patient is in proper conditions during the entire stay in the clinic. I recommend it to everyone

The treatment is high-quality, strictly according to the scheme, under supervision. The treatment tactics are decided by a council of doctors. By the way, that is why I see no point in overpaying for an Israeli specialist when choosing a doctor.
But if something goes wrong or complications arise, they immediately “wash their hands” and at best will say that they do not deal with this, and at worst — “well, what do you want, such a disease, come to terms with it”.
Communication is built through an administrator who is not a doctor, so it is very difficult to get any information: either make an appointment a week in advance, or run around the clinic chasing the doctors.
The setting and the grounds create a feeling of calm and comfort, more like a resort than a clinic. The patient is comfortable here.
The prices at that moment were approximately as follows: consultation of an Israeli oncologist — 3000 UAH, CT with contrast — about 8000 UAH, a day of hospitalization — 4000 UAH, a blood test — 600 UAH.
There are no complaints about the treatment, but I believe that for such money one could treat patients more sensitively and attentively. And it is completely unnecessary to tell a daughter in the eighth month of pregnancy that her mother will die…

The hospital is good, attentive doctors and staff, equipment and diagnostics at a high level.
I did not like the cafe/canteen at all. The staff is unfriendly, tasteless, expensive.
Patients and relatives spend a long time at the hospital, and the opportunity to have a tasty lunch, drink coffee, hear “Enjoy your meal” — that is what is missing.
But this is not the main thing, because people come here to be treated.

The clinic is well-kept, convenient. The staff is highly professional, quickly responds to requests. They performed a complex operation on my mother, which other hospitals would not undertake.
