I flew in from Ireland to get my foot surgery done at this clinic. I have to say that the only reason I am here to post my review is because of the amazing job that Karina, the coordinator, did to do my surgery, I have never seen a woman who works so hard and takes care of patients with extreme patience. I had surgery before in another hospital, but I have never seen anyone treat patients so well. I would also like to thank the nurse Olivia, she is great, she communicates with patients and makes sure we have the best care after surgery.
I will definitely come back to have another surgery with them.

Pluses: Very nice and friendly staff, pretty short notice for getting an appointment, quick result delivery, especially in comparison with Germany.
Possible improvements: most of the staff speak primarily polish, so you need to have at least some basic level of it; even knowing some basics of the language, I sometimes did not understand what’s going on; also I had to spend way more time at the hospital than originally planned, to cover all the treatments. Which is fine, I got the expected results in the end. But you should plan the time accordingly. The final bill also turned out to be way higher than originally calculated. Would be good to communicate all the issues around the price upfront

What made my experience great?
From start to finish this was a seamless experience, the initial handling and arranging a surgery date, to the KMC driver being there at the airport to picking you up, the clinic was efficient and prompt, everything is run like clockwork. I would and have recommend KCM Clinic to everyone and anyone who wants to listen. My friend recommended them and filled me with confidence prior to.my decision to undergo surgery. Everything was a plus. I’m almost 5 weeks post-op and had absolutely no complications, I’m healing well. We have a support group for questions afterwards and these guys have been a blessing to understand and stay on track.
Professional operation, more detailed information could be useful
The operation itself was professional. The outcome was positive.
The schedule of the measurement day (MRI, blood, heart, etc.) and operation day was a bit unclear and more info on these days could be useful for non-polish-speaking people. After the operation, the patient should have written instructions for the first 2 weeks. Traveling to Jelenia Gora is not the easiest one when you have back pain, since there is no airport in the town. Transport to the nearest airport was available.
I went to the KCM clinic to do diagnostic tests for both me and my partner. In the UK, these tests are atrociously expensive privately, while KCM offers a great price for the service. Widyane, our international coordinator, did an exceptional job in making sure we did all the tests and she was always there for us ready to help. The clinicians and staff speak well in English and are very nice. Overall great experience.
I had a gastric sleeve and l have not looked back
The operation was very successful l had a gastric sleeve done and I have absolutely no complaints or complications. The size of the showers in the rooms are tiny and none of the nurses spoke English and at times l felt they were very rude and abrupt. The car service to take us to and from the airport was excellent. Be prepared for the pre op examination’s it can take a whole day but they are very thorough. The hotel was nice l wasn’t there for a holiday I had the surgery that I so badly needed and I have not looked back. I am so grateful for the job that they did so l would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of having any kind of surgery.
Just because it’s private don’t expect 5 star!
Hospital is clean, surgical staff are wonderful and very caring as are the nurses and care coordinators. However language barrier from nurses looking after you before and after surgery can sometimes prove difficult. Rooms are very basic, TV has no English speaking channels, shower in very very tiny and the grounds the hospital are set in doesn’t seem to be what is advertised on their website.
I used the nurse call bell on 2 occasions both times it took the nursing staff and extremely long time and on the 2nd occasion I had a very embarrassing yet unavoidable accident in the bed which left me feeling very ashamed of myself and upset.
Overall would I go back…. Yes I probably would, but I would need to brush up on my polish and ensure I had a bed pan close by!!!
Great care when in hospital for operation, aftercare brilliant. Clean hospital and lovely town. 1 star was knocked off as the tests you go for before operation need to be done a lot more efficiently as you can be left for hours waiting on a doctor. Other than that was really good.
Definitely recommend this clinic, for any surgery’s, spotless clean, very attentive, 24 hr service.
Very professional.
I got breast reduction, I’d no pain, just it weak and sore. I was up and about the next day. Taking it easy tho.
I wouldn’t hesitate and going back if needed.
