Dr. Teuta Zoto Mustafayev — radiation oncologist of the radiation oncology department at Acıbadem Maslak Hastanesi in Istanbul. She specializes in one of the most technologically advanced areas of modern radiation oncology: MR-guided adaptive stereotactic body radiotherapy (MR-guided adaptive SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
Received her medical education within the MD-PhD program in pharmacology of Hacettepe University in Ankara. Completed residency in radiation oncology at the Department of Radiation Oncology of the same university and finished it in 2017. Since 2017 she has been working at Acıbadem Maslak Hastanesi.
In 2026 she was admitted to the Fellowship program in radiation oncology at the University of Toronto, Canada.
In clinical practice she uses the MRIdian Linac system (manufactured by ViewRay) — a linear accelerator with integrated MRI, as well as TrueBeam, Rapid Arc units and equipment for intraoperative radiation therapy. She treats tumors of the lungs, prostate, adrenal glands, spine, brain metastases, cervical cancer and head and neck tumors.
She is the first author of a 2024 publication in the BMC Cancer journal on the clinical and radiological effects of bevacizumab for radionecrosis after stereotactic brain radiotherapy — a multicenter study involving 10 centers. Co-author of works on MR-guided radiotherapy in the journals Cureus (2019), British Journal of Radiology (2021) and Strahlentherapie und Onkologie (2024). Co-author of multicenter studies of the Turkish Society for Radiation Oncology (TROD) on nasopharyngeal cancer.
Collaborates with the team of professors Enis Ozyar and Banu Atalar of Acibadem University, as well as with the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, USA.
Is a member of the Turkish Society for Radiation Oncology (TROD).
Accepts patients in Turkish and English.

Acıbadem Maslak Hastanesi is one of the largest clinics of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group, with international JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation.
The oncology profile is one of the central directions of the clinic: work is conducted in a multidisciplinary format with the participation of specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, neurology, molecular oncology and pathology.
The key advantage in radiation oncology is the availability of the MRIdian Linac system (manufactured by ViewRay), which combines MRI and a linear accelerator in real time; Acıbadem Maslak Hastanesi is among the first medical centers in the world and became the first in Turkey to install this system. In addition to the MRIdian Linac, the clinic uses TrueBeam, Rapid Arc units, the Da Vinci surgical robot, a whole-body MRI scanner and equipment for intraoperative radiation therapy.
