My mother was diagnosed with Lumbar Canal Stenosis (LCS), which caused lower back pain radiating to the legs. The condition was so severe that it prevented her from performing normal daily activities.

Our visits to physiotherapists, chiropractors, and orthopedists did not yield results. Then we turned to Dr. S.K. Rajan, and he immediately recommended surgery. He convinced us that it was a standard operation and that they were able to achieve a good result. In the end, he fully lived up to his reputation.

Dr. Rajan is a very calm, balanced, and patient-oriented professional. He listened attentively to my father's problems and explained the next steps — examinations, checks, and surgery.
We understood that without surgery my father, who was practically bedridden, would not be able to move normally, so we were prepared for it. We followed his recommendations, and after a complex surgery and a period of rehabilitation we saw a significant improvement in my father's mobility. A truly exceptional doctor and a wonderful person.

Not only Dr. Rajan himself deserves praise — his coordinator Mr. Praveen Soni also proved to be a very sensitive, caring, and responsive person. Without his help, this journey would not have been so calm and organized. He accompanied us at every stage of the treatment.

I am happy to share my experience of treatment with Dr. S.K. Rajan. At the age of 86, I suffered from excruciating pain due to a fracture of the D12 vertebra and secondary spinal canal stenosis, which severely limited my mobility. Although other doctors did not consider surgery necessary, Dr. S.K. Rajan carefully made the diagnosis and decided to perform the surgery, which became a turning point on the path to my recovery.

Note: I had previously undergone two spine surgeries at SMS Jaipur and Fortis Noida, which were unsuccessful.

Thanks to the skill and dedication of Dr. S.K. Rajan, my condition improved significantly after the surgery. Now I can walk and move with much less discomfort, having regained a sense of lightness and independence. I am immensely grateful to Dr. S.K. Rajan for his outstanding skills and caring attitude throughout the entire treatment.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Parveen and Mr. Bhupinder Ji for their invaluable help in organizing all the stages before and after the surgery. Their efforts played an important role in making the treatment as calm and effective as possible for me and my family.

The behavior of Mr. Parveen Kumar, the coordinator of Dr. S.K. Rajan, head of the neurosurgery department, leaves much to be desired. He is an extremely rude person. If you have questions or need to urgently contact Dr. S.K. Rajan, Mr. Parveen does not answer calls even in emergency situations.

If you have even the slightest problem, you will have to go to the hospital in person. Parveen does not pick up the phone, even if you call him 50 times. If you give him money, sweets, or other gifts, then resolving issues becomes easier.

I ask the management of Artemis Hospital to take strict measures regarding such employees.

Even 4–6 months after writing this review, the Artemis management has not taken any serious action. His behavior has remained the same, regardless of how concerned the patient is. I cannot understand how a high-level hospital can keep employees with such a mindset and attitude toward people.

One of the best hospitals in India. I was operated on by Dr. S.K. Rajan after a severe cervical spine injury sustained in an accident. Now I am completely healthy, have returned to sports, and all this is thanks to the doctor.

The treatment went very calmly and comfortably, and I owe my life to the neurosurgery department of this hospital. The anesthesiologists were very kind and attentive to me; thanks to them the surgery went smoothly.

My wife Rekha Tanwar was operated on by Dr. S.K. Rajan on 28/03/2023. Dr. S.K. Rajan is an intelligent, soft-spoken person, almost like a divine figure. But the support staff seemed a little inhumane.

The Artemis team should better train the support staff to improve the attitude toward patients and their companions. Dr. S.K. Rajan's staff are good, especially Singh Saab. However, the staff of the billing department, TPA, and other services need to significantly improve their behavior.

Patients and their relatives are in a difficult emotional state, so they need a more supportive and respectful attitude from everyone connected with the medical field. Despite this, I believe that about 70% of the staff were nevertheless responsive and cooperative.

Thank you. I hope the Artemis team will continue to improve the humane attitude of its staff.

Some people told us that they only make money here, but we were satisfied: yes, they charge for services, but at the same time they give patients and their families 100% of their attention and effort.

My mother had grade 4 spondylolisthesis L5-S1 for 5 years. We consulted many surgeons in Gurgaon, but my mother was not satisfied. Dr. SK Rajan recommended TLIF surgery.

On March 12, 2020, my wife and I visited Artemis in Gurugram for the first time. We had no difficulties with registration and payment, although it took the staff about 45 minutes to prepare the documents for three doctors. Overall, everything was organized systematically.

I consulted Dr. Tarun, Dr. Hitesh Garg (through Dr. Tarun), and Dr. S.K. Rajan about spinal pain, and my wife consulted Dr. IPS Oberoi about knee pain.

All three doctors are magnificent; they gave enough time to understand, diagnose, and explain our problems and treatment methods in detail. We are completely satisfied with the overall level of service at Artemis Gurugram Hospital.
