Coronary artery disease, heart bypass surgery

The treatment was good, but the administration is very weak.
My father had bypass surgery in October 2024 with Dr. Ramji Mehrotra. The operation itself went well, and the care and attention from the doctor and his team were excellent.
However, after being moved to the ward problems began: basic items were missing, there was confusion between departments, delays in dispensing medications, lack of staff, and communication issues.
The discharge was chaotic — the medications were not prepared on time, instructions were delayed by several hours, and no one was resolving the issues that arose. In the end we were discharged only at 11 p.m., even though the documents had been ready since 6:30 p.m.
The good impression of the surgery was completely spoiled by the organization.

I underwent bypass surgery at BLK Max Hospital on 13 May 2022. Two days before the operation I had a CT angiography and an invasive angiography, after which the surgery was performed.
I was first consulted by Dr. Naresh Bhalla, and then I was treated by a team led by Dr. Ramji Mehrotra. The doctors made regular rounds, and everything was organized clearly and professionally.
From the operation to the ICU and the ward — at every stage I received very attentive care. I was discharged on 20 May.
Special thanks to the ICU team, to physiotherapist Dr. Pankaj and to the staff for their care and assistance. The level of treatment and care was excellent.

We were lucky to choose BLK Hospital for our mother's open heart surgery. The doctors are true professionals.
Dr. Niraj Bhalla and Dr. Ramji Mehrotra provided the best treatment. The staff is very polite and responsive.
Mum is already at home and has received all the recommendations for further recovery. I highly recommend this hospital.

The worst hospital in my life, the one that took my father from me. He died after heart surgery due to negligence and very poor postoperative care.
I do not know how to keep living. Never go to this hospital — they may take your loved ones from you. Dr. Ramji Mehrotra is one of the main doctors responsible for the operation going wrong.
