I suffered from a left shoulder rotator cuff tear for four months, after which I went to Dr. Mahajan.
He performed an excellent arthroscopic surgery at BLK MAX Hospital on Pusa Road.
Now I feel well.

Very disappointed and consider the doctor inexperienced. Both knee replacement surgeries performed by Dr. Rakesh Mahajan at BLK MAX Hospital turned out to be unsuccessful.
Even after the surgery I told him that it had been done incorrectly, as the pain was severe and the shape of my legs had become deformed (O-shaped). However, he kept assuring me that the surgery was performed correctly.
Later his junior doctor and other specialists recommended a repeat surgery. After many discussions Dr. Mahajan acknowledged that the surgery was unsuccessful.
Now I am undergoing treatment at AIIMS, where the doctors officially stated in their report that the surgery was performed incorrectly.
Later Dr. Mahajan told me that I could go to the consumer protection court for financial compensation, since they cannot do anything more.
I have all the documents and evidence of medical malpractice, so I categorically do not recommend going to this doctor.

Hello. My mother suffered from severe knee pain over the past 10 years, and her condition gradually worsened. Her spine was also affected.
Knee replacement was recommended, but my mother hesitated for a long time about the surgery. However, the quality of life kept declining.
That's when I learned about Dr. Rakesh Mahajan — an experienced joint replacement specialist. After examination, he recommended replacement of both knee joints as the only option.

I am very grateful to Dr. Rakesh Mahajan, who is an extremely experienced surgeon, and to his highly experienced, professional and knowledgeable team with a wonderful attitude — Dr. Pramod Pasari, Dr. Noor Arshad, Mr. Bheem Sehal — who performed total knee replacement on my 75-year-old mother successfully and with excellent treatment. Special and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pramod Pasari, who gave my mother complete confidence and motivated her for the surgery, and performed a wonderful operation.

My mother had severe shoulder pain. For 3–4 years she could only sleep on one side and went through many sleepless nights. Many doctors prescribed painkillers and calcium, which gave only temporary relief. Eventually I went to Dr. Mahajan at BLK Max — it was by chance, I knew nothing about him in advance. Based on the X-ray studies he recommended arthroscopic surgery. The surgery was successfully performed in December 2021. For 14 months now my mother has felt fine and can sleep on either side.

Dr. Rakesh Mahajan and Dr. Pramod are very good and supportive specialists. They performed ankle surgery on my brother, and the team members — Bharat ji and Bheem ji — are also very helpful and polite. I highly recommend.
