


Assist. Prof. Mustafa Sungur is an orthopedist, traumatologist and educator. He received his higher medical education at the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University (2011), where he also completed his specialization in orthopedics and traumatology.
Since 2015 he has been working at Acıbadem Health Group, where he conducts clinical consultations, performs surgeries on patients and participates in the multidisciplinary management of cases. He is an active member of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council, contributing to the professional training of specialists and the development of educational programs.
In his work, he follows a patient-centered approach and the principles of evidence-based medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. He pays great attention to continuous professional development, teaching activities and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Assist. Prof. Mustafa Sungur is actively engaged in scientific and educational activities: he participates in the training of specialists and the development of educational programs in orthopedics and traumatology, and is also the author and co-author of scientific publications in peer-reviewed medical journals.

Acıbadem Maslak Hastanesi is the largest hospital in the Acıbadem Healthcare Group network, opened in 2009 in Sarıyer (Istanbul). After its expansion in 2018, the hospital occupies 106,000 m² and has 248–288 patient rooms, 20 operating rooms, and 27 ICU beds. It is JCI-accredited and LEED Gold certified.
For patients with injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, the hospital offers a well-developed orthopedic service: a department of orthopedics and traumatology, sports medicine, the Advanced Limb Reconstruction unit headed by Levent Eralp, an orthopedic oncology department, and joint replacement (endoprosthetics).
The hospital provides modern imaging methods (3 Tesla MRI, CT, PET/CT), arthroscopic surgeries, and knee, hip and shoulder joint replacement.
