





Professor Mustafa Ozguroglu is a medical oncologist from Istanbul who has worked for many years at the intersection of clinical practice and international scientific research. Today he is a professor at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, and heads its Clinical Research Department.
His main clinical focus is genitourinary tumors (cancer of the prostate, bladder, and kidney) and lung cancer.
Alongside his university work, he sees patients privately at Medica Tıp Merkezi in Istanbul. According to patient reviews on Turkish portals, he is described as an attentive and empathetic specialist.
Author and co-author of more than 400 scientific publications in international medical journals. The doctor’s works have been cited more than 35,000 times by other researchers, which speaks to the high scientific significance of his research.

The professor has participated in major international Phase III clinical trials dedicated to the treatment of lung cancer, prostate cancer, urothelial cancer, kidney cancer, and breast cancer. These studies were aimed at evaluating the efficacy of modern immunotherapy, hormonal, and targeted therapy drugs in patients with advanced and metastatic forms of cancer.
Among the most well-known international projects are the PACIFIC, LATITUDE, TROPIC, BOLERO-3, ADRIATIC, AMPLITUDE, and KEYNOTE-361 trials, the results of which were published in one of the world’s most authoritative medical journals — The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).
He also took part in studies by the Turkish Oncology Group Kidney Cancer Consortium (TKCC), dedicated to modern approaches to the treatment of kidney tumors and other urological oncological diseases.
