Associate Professor Muazzez Suzen — oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in orthognathic surgery and implantology in Turkey.
The doctor’s main strength is her narrow academic expertise in orthognathic surgery, especially in Le Fort I osteotomy (surgical correction of the upper jaw) and analysis of aesthetic parameters after it.
The doctor has confirmed publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Her co-author is often one of the leading Turkish maxillofacial surgeons — Professor Sina Uckan (Bahçeşehir University). These works analyze how orthognathic surgery changes the appearance of the upper lip, smile dynamics, the shape of the nose and nostrils.
