We spent two weeks at this hospital, and first and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank Dünyagöz Hospital Altunizade. I can confidently say that this is a world-class hospital with highly qualified specialists that truly meets international standards.
One of our family members had a severe condition and a very serious eye disease that could not be successfully treated in Georgia. Therefore, we decided to seek treatment in Turkey. Today, we can confidently say that the professional help and treatment we received here have met our hopes and expectations.
I would like to express special gratitude to Professor Levent Akçay, who successfully performed such a complex and serious operation. His professionalism, experience, and confidence were of immense importance to us. I also want to thank all the doctors who helped us during this difficult period and supported our family.
However, this result is not only due to one doctor but to the joint, professional, and dedicated work of the entire team.
Separately, I want to express immense gratitude to Ms. Nina. A few sentences are simply not enough to describe everything she did for us. For us, she was not only a highly qualified administrator and interpreter but also a guide, helper, and someone we could always count on.
Nina contacted us almost every hour to check how we were doing. Her support was not limited to the hospital – she gave us advice and helped us navigate the city, helped us get a phone and a transportation card, showed us routes and important places, and tried to make us feel comfortable in an unfamiliar country. Before the operation, her support and positive attitude helped us stay calm and approach such a difficult moment with much less anxiety.
After the operation, we felt her care even more strongly. She was constantly by our side and even stayed in touch during her free time when we needed her. A whole story could be written about all her attention and kindness.

I would also like to express special gratitude to our nurses – Melike, Tuana, Esra, Ayşe, Hilal, Burcu, and Mehtap.
They took care of us around the clock, 24/7. They comforted us, gave us hope, kept our spirits up, and, when necessary, performed their work at the highest professional level. Their attention and sincere human warmth were no less important to us than their medical professionalism.
These are truly highly qualified nurses with many years of experience and, most importantly, with exceptional care and compassion for patients.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of them!
I also want to thank the cleaning staff. They were very warm, positive, and attentive people. We especially thank the team responsible for catering: the dishes were delicious, met the patient's needs, and were always delivered on time.
Special thanks also to the security staff. They were always friendly and attentive, often asking about our condition and even showing care in small gestures, such as offering us tea. Such an attitude means a lot to patients and their families.
The hospital cafe is also a very cozy and pleasant place.
I don't want to leave anyone without gratitude, because many people supported us during these two weeks. Therefore, I sincerely thank every employee and every doctor of Dünyagöz Hospital Altunizade who was with us during this difficult period.
Your professionalism, care, and human attitude left an indelible impression on us. This is truly a world-class hospital where medical knowledge and experience are combined with genuine warmth and care.

Professor Dr. Levent Akçay operated on my husband's eyes. He completely ruined his eyes and absolutely refused to admit his mistake. A man with a big ego. Now he needs another surgery with a different doctor. The money spent was in vain. The hospital needs to pay attention to this.

About 6 months ago, I underwent lower eyelid surgery. Unfortunately, a previous light filler procedure under my eyes damaged this sensitive area, so I had to have surgery.
The surgery at Dünya Göz Hospital in Suadiye was performed by Professor Dr. Levent Akçay. The surgery was very successful, and I am more and more satisfied with the result every day. But most importantly, what made this process truly special and safe for me is that Professor Dr. Levent Akçay never left me unattended after the surgery. At every stage, he showed understanding, support, and focused on resolving emerging issues. Thanks to this attitude, I always felt safe.
We continued the post-operative examinations at Dünya Göz Hospital in Altunizade. Frankly, I was much more satisfied with the attention, communication, and attitude of the Altunizade staff. Throughout the process, I was regularly invited for follow-up examinations, every complaint of mine was patiently listened to, and efforts were made to resolve the issues. At no appointment did I feel rushed or underestimated.
Today was my last follow-up examination. The stitches have completely healed, only a slight swelling under the eyes remains. Professor Dr. Levent Akçay said that it will pass over time, and I sincerely trust him. I know that this process requires patience, so I calmly await full recovery.
Professor Dr. Levent Akçay is not only a very successful specialist in his field but also a very valuable person: without ego, able to empathize, and truly understanding the condition of another person. In such a process, meeting such a doctor is a great stroke of luck. I sincerely thank him and the team of Dünya Göz Hospital Altunizade.
If I have any eye problems in the future, my only and correct address will be Professor Dr. Levent Akçay.

We were very pleased with the doctors and thank every specialist who examined us, especially Professor Levent Akçay. My one-and-a-half-year-old child was indicated for eyelid suspension surgery. We decided to have the surgery here, trusting the doctors and especially the experience of Professor Levent Akçay. We were quoted an incredible amount – 500 thousand Turkish Liras. Later, one of the staff members said that the cost of this operation could be 400 thousand Turkish Liras.
A few days later, we called and asked for a small concession on the price, as we wanted to have the surgery at your clinic. We were refused in a tone that practically said: “Don't have the surgery here.” This was completely unprofessional behavior, more like a casual conversation than communication from a medical institution.
Now I need to have this surgery for my one-and-a-half-year-old child to prevent vision deterioration. You should not only serve wealthy patients or patients coming from abroad. We have been coming to your clinic since birth, and putting a child in such a position is completely unethical.
