Recently I consulted Dr. IPS Oberoi for a second opinion regarding a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). I fully trusted Dr. I. P. S. Oberoi for my mother's knee replacement, hoping that his experience and the robotic approach would ensure a smooth recovery. Over more than 50 visits I heard many reassurances. However, in the end the surgery turned out to be unsuccessful, and now, just two years later, we have to undergo a corrective revision surgery.

Despite his credentials, Dr. Oberoi seems overloaded and rushed — he simultaneously runs several surgeries and sees patients in the OPD. I have several times seen him moving between the operating room and the office, which raises serious doubts about his concentration on the surgery and patient safety.

The much-advertised robotic knee replacement, as it seemed to me, has been recently introduced and is poorly organized at his center. The postoperative result was worse than expected: persistent pain, instability and functional problems that have not been resolved despite repeated visits.

For such a life-important procedure, patients deserve full attention, clarity and genuine care — not just promises. I deeply regret our choice and strongly advise everyone considering robotic knee replacement here to investigate the issue carefully, get a second opinion and ensure quality postoperative support.

My mother had hip replacement surgery in 2024, but the experience turned out to be extremely negative. In my opinion, Dr. Oberoi did not live up to the trust that the status of a doctor implies. The joint was put in place, but the sutures had to be opened again a few days later, and the wounds have continued to ache and the leg to twitch since then. My mother was hospitalized for more than a month due to complications, and she still suffers from the consequences.

In my view, Artemis is more like a commercial corporate site than a hospital that genuinely cares about its patients. The impression is that the main thing is to fill as many operating slots as possible. The doctor's post-operative rounds are more like a formality than real communication with the patient, because the wards are overcrowded and there is not enough time for full care.

In 2025 my mother had a second hip replacement surgery on the other leg, and we chose another doctor at Max Hospital. The recovery was excellent, and she was discharged on the fifth day. Just six weeks have passed, and she has recovered beautifully on the second leg, but continues to suffer from the first surgery.

I leave this review out of sincere concern for other people considering surgery or treatment here. Namaste.

I had knee replacement surgery. I have a very negative experience. After the joint replacement many problems appeared, and I discussed them with the doctor, but he does not listen to my complaints. I cannot walk normally and continue to experience difficulties.

We will remember this doctor all our lives — he combines knowledge, skill and empathy. In September 2020 he performed reverse shoulder replacement on my father. The surgery was successful. The kind of confidence Dr. Oberoi gave us we did not get at any other hospital — and he did exactly what he promised.

Today, if we recall or consider Artemis Hospital for other consultations, it is only thanks to Dr. Oberoi.

The best doctor I have ever met. Bilateral hip replacement was performed on me by Dr. Oberoi himself. After COVID treatment I developed avascular necrosis of both hip joints, and I could not even walk normally. Daily activities turned into real torment.

I consulted several doctors, I even had decompression surgery at Manipal Hospital in Delhi, but with no result. Every doctor I consulted advised joint replacement, but choosing the right surgeon is the key to success, so I chose Dr. Oberoi.

The surgeries were performed on May 30 and June 2, 2022, and today I happily do everything that previously seemed like hell. Thank you, Dr. Oberoi! I am proud that our country has doctors like you.

Dr. I. P. S. Oberoi is an outstanding, highly professional doctor in the field of joint replacement. For me he is a second hope and a second God.

I arranged for my mother's knee replacement surgery using revision implants. She had been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for 26 years. Back in 2008 a doctor recommended knee replacement, but due to fears and prejudices she was not ready. By 2021 the condition of the knee and hip joints had deteriorated significantly due to multiple deformities.

In February 2021 the surgery was performed by Dr. I. P. S. Oberoi. Before it my mother was completely bedridden and could not get up, but after the surgery and complete recovery she now walks with a walker (due to hip joint deformity).

Before the consultation I had already turned to doctors at Medanta, Fortis and Max Hospital clinics, but it was Dr. I. P. S. Oberoi who explained everything in detail about the surgery, possible complications and the placement of the implants. After watching videos of surgeries and the images, we decided to undergo surgery with him — the case was very complex.

Now I am planning to turn to him again — for hip and shoulder joint replacement. A huge thank you!
