I fully trusted Dr. I. P. S. Oberoi for my mother's knee replacement, hoping that his experience and the robotic approach would ensure a smooth recovery. Over more than 50 visits I heard many reassurances. However, in the end the surgery turned out to be unsuccessful, and now, just two years later, we have to undergo a corrective revision surgery.
Despite his credentials, Dr. Oberoi seems overloaded and rushed — he simultaneously runs several surgeries and sees patients in the OPD. I have several times seen him moving between the operating room and the office, which raises serious doubts about his concentration on the surgery and patient safety.
The much-advertised robotic knee replacement, as it seemed to me, has been recently introduced and is poorly organized at his center. The postoperative result was worse than expected: persistent pain, instability and functional problems that have not been resolved despite repeated visits.
For such a life-important procedure, patients deserve full attention, clarity and genuine care — not just promises. I deeply regret our choice and strongly advise everyone considering robotic knee replacement here to investigate the issue carefully, get a second opinion and ensure quality postoperative support.
