Laser Vision Correction and Lens Replacement

About a month ago, a fragment, like a plastic bullet, hit my eye. Thinking I had lost my eye, I urgently went to this hospital in the evening. The first aid was provided by the esteemed doctor Nedime Deveci — she not only treated me but also supported me psychologically. Even then, I understood that the treatment would be long but successful. Due to the injury, my vision was almost zero. After approximately 4 weeks of recovery and examinations, we made a decision: to implant an EDOF lens in my left eye, where a cataract had developed due to the injury, and to perform laser surgery on my right eye, as I have myopia. At this stage, thanks to the explanations, support, and guidance of the esteemed Professor Hüseyin Bayramlar, I, as they say, blindly trusted his hands. Yesterday, he performed both operations in about 20 minutes. I felt no pain. The friendliness and calmness of the staff set the mood in advance — it was my first time on an operating table, but I didn't panic at all. Thank you all.
About the laser surgery, I can say one thing: I regret not having it done sooner; I suffered for so many years for nothing. After just half an hour, seeing people's faces and reading signs was very, very pleasant.
It's too early to say anything definitive about the left eye; the treatment is ongoing. I hope to cope with this too, thanks to the esteemed Hüseyin Bey and the hospital team. Thank you to the Dünyagöz team for everything.

Strabismus Correction Surgery

I am 56 years old. I had strabismus for 15 years. Even with thick prismatic glasses, I saw very poorly. A year and a half ago, Professor Hüseyin operated on me, and, thank God, my health returned. Now I can do without glasses entirely and see quite well. My quality of life has greatly improved. Today was a follow-up examination — fortunately, there is no deterioration. I am also very pleased with the doctor: a delicate approach, attention, and detailed explanations about my condition.

Strabismus Correction Surgery

After reading reviews and on the advice of my ophthalmologist from Antalya, who specializes in strabismus, I contacted Hüseyin Bayramlar. His kindness convinced me that he is successful in his field. I underwent strabismus correction surgery. Despite my 60 years, the operation went as well as it could. For three years, I saw everything double — now it is 100% corrected. No doctor said it would be 100% corrected. How good it is that I met Hüseyin Bey: he has extensive experience in treating strabismus and cataracts. In 3 months, I will also have cataract surgery.

In the summer of 2021, due to strabismus and poor distance vision (4 diopters), I wore glasses and, on recommendation, consulted Professor Hüseyin. First, he said an open surgery would be needed, then he took an image and said laser correction could be done instead—and it was. This summer will be 4 years, follow-up examinations continue, there has been no deterioration. A very successful doctor.

Strabismus correction surgery

For the last 5–6 years, I had gradually worsening convergent strabismus in my right eye. Recently, I experienced constant double vision and image problems.
A friend, whom Hüseyin Bayramlar operated on 10 years ago, strongly recommended him to me — and it's good that our paths crossed.
From the first examination and throughout the treatment, the detailed examinations and the doctor's approach showed even my squinting eye how competent and reliable a doctor he is :) With such trust, I unhesitatingly agreed to the proposed treatment method, and on July 10, I underwent surgery with a diagnosis of “convergent concomitant strabismus.”
After the surgery, all complaints ceased. Today was the last follow-up examination, and, thank God, the result is flawless.
I once again express my respect to Professor Hüseyin.
When I was looking for a doctor myself, I read reviews, so I want to describe the process in detail and openly to help people in a similar situation.

Repeat strabismus correction

After strabismus surgery 12 years ago, a small but bothersome outward deviation appeared in the same eye, and I started looking for a doctor. For this, I came to Istanbul from another city and spent 3 days visiting various doctors in private hospitals and clinics. Some advised exercises, others saw no need for intervention due to the small deviation, and still others said that after intervention, the eye might shift inward, and would only undertake treatment if I agreed to this. Professor Hüseyin Bayramlar was the last to examine me. Primarily because he communicated with me very attentively and instilled trust, I agreed to the proposed treatment. He reassured me by saying that he would correct the deviation, and in case of an undesirable result, he would perform a repeat intervention without expecting anything in return — and he eliminated this very small deviation. Now I am satisfied with the treatment. With his experience and communication skills, Hüseyin Bey primarily inspires trust in the patient. I thank him.

Pediatric Ophthalmology

On March 22, 2023, we came for an eye examination for my 3-year-old daughter at Dünya Göz Hospital in Sultanbeyli. From the first to the last minute of the examination, my daughter cried a lot because the doctor spoke loudly. The examination was unsuccessful because the doctor could not handle the stressful situation. To my attempts to calm my daughter, he reacted with an attitude of "don't interfere with my work, I am a professor with 30 years of experience." When the situation became completely unpleasant, I had to interrupt the examination and say that we did not want to continue. We would not wish such an experience on anyone. Therefore, I do not recommend this doctor.
