Hepatologists in Israel

I still can't believe that I was able to be cured - that I have a healthy liver in my body. I can finally look forward to the future and dream about what I will be doing in the coming years. I have no words to thank Prof. Nir Lubecki and the entire wonderful team at Suraska - the anesthesia and intensive care staff, the transplant surgeons, the pathologists and the liver department, the oncology department and the medical technologist who operated the perfusion machine. Thanks to all of you, I am healthy and happy here!

I was in the transplantation department of Sourasky clinic, a wonderful department, good attitude, care, thanks to all the staff.

The liver transplant at Sourasky Clinic was successful and the organ was accepted by my body. I have regular check-ups at the medical center in my home country every 2-3 months. I send the results to Nir Lubetski, who is in charge of my treatment in Israel.

I was at the Ichlov Clinic to see Dr. Oren. He is a wonderful doctor who explains everything well and clearly.

I had hepatitis C many years ago, and I had a suspicion of liver cancer. I went to different doctors, and there was no consensus - even after a biopsy. Prof. Shibolet from the Suraski Clinic reviewed the results of my biopsy and said for sure: I don't have cancer. That was probably the greatest joy of my life.

I am making my second "run" at hepatitis C treatment. The first one (six months of interferon and ribaverine) ended in failure. At the Suraski clinic I was prescribed new medications. I was just happy that the treatment was not 6 months but only 2 months. Now I am finally doing well.

I had hepatitis C and my doctor recommended everything I needed: supplements, detoxification and diet. I went to Israel to discuss all his recommendations. In the hepatology department of the Suraski clinic I was told that I am healthy and can live as before, no additional treatment is needed. So I saved a lot of time and money.

I came to the Assuta Clinic for treatment of cirrhosis. After an examination, which cost me less than $1,000, I was told that I had stage 2. I was treated by Oren Shibolet, who offered me an expensive but effective method - stem cells. After their introduction, my tests became much better, and my health improved. I continue my treatment at home and take the medications prescribed by the doctor.
