Dear Mr. Gokhan, how good it is that you exist. My wife Demet Aydin was a patient with lung adenocarcinoma. In 9 months, he cured her with targeted therapy — Giotrif and Tagrisso — and the disease, thank God, retreated. A decent, honest, polite, respectful, noble doctor — I highly recommend him. If you manage to get an appointment, do not leave his door. A good doctor, a good person.

In 2010, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I met my doctor. Thanks to his treatment, I overcame the disease. He is one of the most upright people who have come into my life, both as a doctor and as a person. Praise be to God for Professor Gokhan Demir. He complements his professional success with nobility, politeness, and modesty — a great fortune for all his patients.

Today, the fact that my mother is alive I owe first to God, and then to Mr. Gokhan. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and it was the most aggressive form. But thanks to the proper treatment prescribed by Mr. Gokhan, my mother defeated cancer. It is a blessing that there are doctors like Mr. Gokhan. Greetings from Azerbaijan.
Professor Gokhan Demir is one of Turkey’s most renowned medical oncologists. He combines deep academic training with active clinical work and broad participation in the national oncology infrastructure.

According to the official academic profile AVESIS of Istanbul University:

Acıbadem Maslak Hastanesi is the largest hospital of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group network, opened in 2009 in Sarıyer (Istanbul). After expansion in 2018, the clinic occupies 106,000 m² and has 248–288 inpatient rooms, 20 operating rooms, and 27 intensive care beds. JCI accreditation and LEED Gold certification.
For oncology patients, the clinic is one of the main hubs of the Acıbadem network. It hosts strong departments of medical oncology (coordinated by Professor Gokhan Demir), radiation oncology (led by Enis Ozyar), as well as oncological surgery and oncogynecology.
Modern radiation therapy methods are available at the clinic (TrueBeam Stx, MR Linac, Gamma Knife Icon, CyberKnife), as well as da Vinci robotic surgery, PET/CT diagnostics, genetic testing, and immunotherapy. This is critically important for patients with breast cancer, lung cancer, neuro-oncological diseases, and colorectal cancer — the main areas of Professor Demir’s work.
For international patients, the Health Point Center operates with coordination in 20+ languages and the organization of transfers, interpreters, and accommodation.
