















Dr. Dilip Panikar is one of the leading neurosurgeons in Kerala (India). He is currently a Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at Aster Medcity Hospital (Kochi). His practical experience exceeds 31 years.
Before joining Aster Medcity, he held major academic positions: Professor and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (Kochi), Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute (Thiruvananthapuram).
His strength is microneurosurgery. He performs complex neurosurgical interventions: operations for brain tumors, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, endoscopic skull base surgery, epilepsy operations in children and adults, and reconstructions for craniofacial deformities.
He is a visiting consultant at Aster Hospital in Doha (Qatar). He has published more than 25 scientific articles and is a neurosurgery instructor for postgraduate programs.
Author of more than 25 scientific articles in leading Indian and international medical publications.
Teaches neurosurgery to doctors undergoing postgraduate training and is an examiner at a number of universities in India. Regularly conducts practical sessions for surgeons.
