Professor Bora Basaran — is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon. This means he simultaneously practices classical ENT surgery (nose, sinuses, larynx, ear) and more specialized head and neck oncological surgery: operations on the thyroid gland, salivary glands, and laryngeal tumors.
He graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1999. He then completed his specialization in otorhinolaryngology from 1999 to 2004. Since 2010, he has been working at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine.

Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital is the flagship of the Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals network, one of the oldest and largest private medical networks in Turkey. The main building is located in the Şişli district on the European side of Istanbul.
