Dr. Arun Kumar Goyal is a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with more than thirty years of experience.
He specializes in open heart operations: coronary artery bypass grafting (including off-pump surgery, without the use of the heart-lung machine), valve replacement, repair of congenital defects, and peripheral vascular surgery.
Throughout his career he has performed more than 5,000 heart operations. He was one of the first surgeons in Southern Rajasthan to start performing bypass surgery without the heart-lung machine — a technique that reduces the risk of complications and speeds up patient recovery.
From 2002 he served as chief consultant cardiac surgeon at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi. In 2019 he launched a cardiac surgery program at RAK Hospital (UAE) as deputy medical director. He currently practices at Sharda Hospital in Greater Noida.
He is a member of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (IACTS) and regularly takes part in medical events and conferences.
