About clinic
Urology Clinic Munich-Planegg was founded in 1970 by Doctor R. Castringius. At that time, it was the only profile center in Bavaria specializing in the treatment of malignant tumors of the prostate gland.
Today, the clinic specialists render services for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric and adult urological diseases, erectile dysfunction, urolithiasis, and cancer of the urinary system. The clinic has 18 andrologists and urologists, 120 medical staff workers. Each year, 2500 patients are treated in the clininc and 4000 people are treated on outpatient basis.
The structure of Munich-Planegg includes the Center for Research, Center for the treatment of diseases of the pelvic organs, the Center for the treatment of urolithiasis. Much attention is paid to the level of comfort for the patients: a modern cafe with a terrace and a garden, comfortable wards with electric multifunctional beds and high-tech equipment, good meals. For international patients there is an International department. The modern equipment of the clinic allows for early diagnosis of diseases, which provides a quick start of treatment and a positive result.

Due to the high level of services provided, the Mönchengladbach Clinic has established partnerships with adjacent specialized medical institutions and a Certified Prostate Treatment Center to exchange experiences and receive advice for their patients.

The best urological clinic! I had 4 surgeries here (3 surgeries to remove stones from the left kidney and one small intervention to move the kidney tract), the staff took care of me very well. I am very pleased with everything that this clinic has.

I was in this hospital for 16 days, I’m just full of praise. All staff works at the highest level. I had kidney cancer. Surgery and postoperative care (very difficult) were better than I expected. For me, the clinic deserves the best rating. I always recommend it!
