Indimasi Healing Village is a truly special place. Quiet, peaceful and filled with deep meaning, it lets you disconnect from everyday worries, stress and outside noise — and finally hear yourself.

Here the care for body, mind and soul is combined in an amazing way. Indimasi has a medical team of various specialisations, and there is a rare opportunity to consult several doctors at once, receiving a holistic, thoughtful and highly individual approach to wellness and recovery.

I especially want to note the exceptional care, attentiveness and delicacy of the doctors — you truly feel their sincere involvement, willingness to help and deep respect for the patient.

I also want to note the wisdom and vision of Guruji, who created this magical space. This is not just a clinic and not just a retreat — it is a place where both soul and body are truly healed. After a personal conversation with Guruji, what I had long wanted to let go of simply went away — gently, without pressure, as if it dissolved by itself. It was a deep and truly healing experience.

I was also very touched by the meeting with the astrologer — subtle, respectful and full of understanding. It gave me a new sense of awareness and inner support.

The approach to the practices also impressed me: yoga, kalari and body cleansing programmes — everything is carefully thought out, harmonious and adapted to each person’s abilities. These are not formal procedures, but a living and conscious path of recovery.

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank: Dr. Praveen and Dr. Sandhya Nair — for professionalism, wisdom, care and humanity; the therapists Sadida and Bindu — for their gentle hands and sincere attentiveness; all the restaurant staff — for the warmth, care and love put into every dish; especially Shali — for the kindness, involvement and bright smile; the yoga instructors Vinaj (whose classes I particularly enjoyed) and Rupa — for the depth, inspiration and conscious guidance; and also all the staff who, through their daily work, made our stay at Indimasi truly unforgettable.

Special thanks to Swapna for help with the booking — everything was arranged calmly, clearly and thoughtfully.

My name is Natali, and I went through the programme at Indimasi Healing Village from 27 November to 14 December this year. I can confidently say: this is a place you arrive at tired and leave renewed, fulfilled and a little closer to yourself.

Indimasi is a space of silence, awareness and real healing.

A place where care heals, wisdom guides, and true health begins from within. ✨❤️

My first time visiting Indimasi, and it won’t be my last! From the beautiful, peaceful, serene surroundings, amazing organic food to the kind and super attentive staff, the whole experience was completely rejuvenating.

The treatments were fantastic and very effective, I’d lost 7kgs in 20 days. The doctors are highly knowledgeable and super attentive. They take time to understand your health concerns, explaining the treatment process clearly and in detail, and they regularly monitored your progress, making adjustments as deemed necessary.

I have to give a special mention to Guruji, whose guidance, infinite wisdom and radiant energy, truly does rub off on you, providing you a renewed capability to develop inner strength and finding your light.

THANK YOU Indimasi for sharing your magic🙏🏽

therapists Letha and Deepa;
yoga instructors Guru-ji, Vinaj and Roopa;
and of course, Gowri and Swapna.

Everyone on Indimasi’s team is highly professional, kind and dedicated with each member playing an integral role.
Their care and expertise in Ayurveda, yoga, meditation and healing made my stay truly memorable.
A special thank you as well to the restaurant staff, and everyone else who contributed to my experience.
The spiritual atmosphere at Indimasi is unmatched, and I left feeling greatly rejuvenated and in harmony with myself.

One suggestion: A cooled library space with books on Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation would be a great addition for guests to connect and learn.
Thank you Indimasi!

Diagnosis: Ayurvedic treatment

I spent 19 days in Indimasi in December 2025 on the Panchakarma program. The clinic is located among the jungle hills, surrounded by small Indian villages with incredibly smiling and kind locals. The atmosphere is one of absolute calm and tranquility. However, I was unlucky; the first week coincided with the local municipal elections, which happen only once every four years, and there was a lot of noise from the campaigners. Otherwise, it was complete peace and quiet. Huge thanks to the Guru, the team of doctors, and all the staff for the care and attention I received throughout my stay. I would especially like to mention the work of my massage therapists Suja and Aranya; they have golden hands, they relieved my neck and leg pain, and were incredibly caring and attentive. If I go again, it will largely be to be their patient again. I also want to mention the work of the yoga instructor Vinoj – he is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever met. Thank you to the wonderful doctors – Dr. Satya and Dr. Praveen – for their help and care during my Panchakarma treatment. And, of course, the Guru is unique as a Kalari teacher. As for the downsides, perhaps 30 minutes of yoga a day wasn’t enough for me; I would have liked to increase that time. In the evening, I had to choose between yoga and Kalari, and I wanted to be everywhere. Also, the soundproofing in the rooms is not very good.
I had previous experience with a similar program at another hotel. In Indimasi, the approach to the program is significantly more serious and thorough. Here, it’s real treatment and cleansing, during which transformations occur in your body and soul. If life allows, I will definitely return here.

An amazing experience at Indimasi.

Although the centre is relatively new, the attitude towards guests here is truly impressive. Not only are the treatments themselves effective, but the personal attention from the doctors and guest relations staff is simply incredible. The quality and taste of the food do not make you miss your usual diet. The cleanliness of the rooms and the whole territory also helps you feel comfortable and calm.

And finally, most importantly, the sessions with Guruji, as well as yoga and meditation, are a life-changing experience.

I hope to come back here again in the future.

This is the perfect place to reset the mind and body. The territory is set in a quiet environment, away from distractions, which allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. The service is excellent, and all the staff are attentive, caring and sincere. This whole place literally radiates spirituality and kindness.

The teachers are very professional and provide enormous support. The daily meditation, kalari and yoga sessions help you tune in to the right mood for the whole day. Special mention goes to the food — always fresh, healthy and varied, carefully adapted to each guest’s needs. The doctors and staff provide exceptional care, and the daily therapeutic treatments offer a wide range of options for restoring health.

Guruji — Yoga Guru Shivan — is the real gem of this place. His incredible energy, deep knowledge and inspiring personality have a healing effect and motivate you to move forward.

Highly recommend.

Diagnosis: Body rejuvenation programme

Spent 3 days here on a recovery and rejuvenation programme. Overall the experience was very positive, comfortable and relaxing. It is a more intimate place compared to large Ayurvedic retreats — there were about 20 guests, and the staff knew everyone by name.

At first the price seems high, but if you look at everything that is included, it is quite justified. We had yoga and meditation twice a day, kalari once a day. The price also included an Ayurvedic massage (90 minutes daily), doctor consultations and 4 meals a day.

The rooms are very clean, comfortable and modern. The bathrooms are good, equipped with a bidet. The air conditioning in my room did not work very efficiently, but the staff offered another room and even tried to fix the problem.

The restaurant provides four meals a day. Ayurvedic Indian vegetarian food is served. The dishes were tasty and pleasant. Each guest’s diet differs slightly according to the doctor’s recommendations.

Yoga and meditation classes were held twice a day. Before yoga there was a 30-minute meditation. The morning yoga was quite basic, the evening one of medium difficulty. Here yoga is seen not as the main practice, but as an important tool complementing the Ayurvedic treatment. If you are looking specifically for a yoga retreat, this is not quite the right place — the main emphasis here is on Ayurveda and wellness. Although I enjoyed the yoga classes themselves.

The kalari classes were very interesting, exciting and unusual.

The centre is located about 40 minutes from the airport on a hill. Airport transfer is often provided. Uber and Ola are not available in this area. The last 10 minutes of the road to Indimasi run along sections with numerous potholes and steep climbs. Because of this, exploring the surroundings can be difficult. For excursions the centre provides transport — minimum 4 hours for 2500 Indian rupees. For me this was a small downside, although many guests like simply staying on the territory and fully immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the place.

The Ayurvedic doctors were very friendly. It seemed that many people come here to achieve specific goals — weight loss, treatment of chronic diseases and other tasks. The daily 90-minute massage was very pleasant, and the treatment rooms were kept perfectly clean.

The staff were incredibly kind and very attentive.

This was our first visit to the Indimasi Ayurvedic health and wellness centre in Trivandrum, and it turned out to be wonderful.

From the very beginning the experienced, effective and responsive Ayurvedic doctors, led by Dr. Sandhya Nair, accompanied us through thorough examinations and personalised treatment programmes, which became a real contribution to our health and well-being.

Every day was filled with meditation, yoga and carefully selected individual treatments — oil and other types of massage performed by a talented and dedicated team. All of it felt like real magic.

The warmth and friendliness of the Indimasi staff made our stay especially pleasant and unforgettable. Along the way we met many guests who return here again and again, and this did not surprise us at all. We are already thinking about our next visit ourselves.

We sincerely thank all the wonderful people at Indimasi, whose care and dedication made this experience so special.

Diagnosis: Panchakarma

If this is your first experience of panchakarma, it may seem that everything is fine, but when comparing it with other places it becomes clear that the level here leaves much to be desired.

If you set aside the spiritual trappings this place is surrounded by and pay attention to the quality of the treatments, the attention from the doctors, the kitchen and the yoga — all of it is disappointing.

The territory is indeed large, especially by the standards of Ayurvedic resorts (this is one of the few pluses), but hilly. If you have problems with your knees, heart or other limitations, you will have to constantly ask to be driven, since a full loop is about 500 metres up and down.

Construction of several buildings is going on in the territory, with many workers.

The doctor gave lectures several times, which I found quite interesting. This shows that he has knowledge, but the question arises — why is this knowledge not applied in practice?

There is no individual approach: the treatments are the same for everyone, regardless of dosha. There is no adjustment of the programme as the condition changes during panchakarma. The doctor insisted that I needed more days to solve my problem, but in fact nothing was done for it except prescribing pills. This made me wonder whether the offer to extend the stay was connected solely with the desire to increase the cost of treatment.

Now about the yoga. It is presented as something special, but in reality these are the simplest asanas, repeated every day, which quickly gets boring. Meditation is mandatory, but it will suit only fans of spiritual practices.

I want to say separately about the food. The food was often cold and dry, with few soups and vegetables. You can explain this by saying the food is “correct”, but in my experience proper nutrition does not have to be tasteless. The kitchen clearly needs improvement and more variety. The restaurant staff try, the waiters are smiling, which is a pleasant moment. However, on many issues you have to make allowances for the fact that this is India and simply accept what is happening as it is.

When we realised that we would not get a full panchakarma here, the only pleasant moment was the kalari classes. The intense workouts were interesting, but they are completely unsuitable for the panchakarma period, when the body needs complete rest.

The same applies to the excursions. They were organised regularly, which may appeal to those who want to get to know India, but it seemed inappropriate to me. After the treatments the body needs rest, but no one tells or explains this. For example, while taking medicinal oils a person should limit activity as much as possible, so that the body can calmly collect and remove toxins.

In the end this place looks more like a business project than a centre where they really help restore health. After this panchakarma I unfortunately lost my health rather than gained it, as I had expected.

Result: 20 wasted days, ruined digestion and huge disappointment.

The stay at Indimasi left very pleasant impressions. It was our first experience visiting an Ayurvedic retreat.

Every employee was very responsive, attentive and polite, always ready to do more than was expected of them. The accommodation conditions are good, everything is kept in order and well organised.

The only problem I encountered concerned the food. The food seemed too monotonous and boring to me. The absence of bread and porridge for breakfast was an inconvenience, although they did provide them specially for me. Overall the dishes were not tasty enough. Yogurt and soured milk were also absent. If the food were more adapted to the tastes of North Indian residents, it would be a big plus.

I especially want to note the restaurant staff, the Ayurvedic treatment staff and the guest relations service — they all worked excellently.

Special thanks to Pinky MJ, Gowri, Ashish, Alex and Anandu. Dr. Mubarak was exceptionally attentive and always ready to help.

It would also be useful to create a comfortable lounge area or resting place where guests could communicate with each other, share experiences and read literature on Ayurveda.

Indimasi is a good place for an Ayurvedic retreat if you have any health problems or illnesses.

The doctor is friendly and answers all questions. The women who carry out the treatments do not speak English very well, but we still had very pleasant conversations literally with the help of gestures 😊. They were sincerely interested in learning about my life and the country I came from.

This is a good place for those who want to completely distance themselves from their usual life for a few days. There is practically nothing nearby, so you will need a car to get around.

If, however, you are looking for a spiritual or yoga retreat, it is better to choose another place. I spent 12 days here, and every day there were the same meditation and yoga classes, which rather resembled stretching.

The food is very good, although the menu hardly changes.

For my first Ayurvedic retreat it was a good experience.

I visited Indimasi Healing Village in Feb 2020 for a month. The place is lokated at Trivandrum, Kerala State, South of India. I’m so gratefful that I was given the opportunity to improve my healt in such environment. I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago and last year my oncologist told me that there was nothing else they could do to help me and that I have 6-12 months to live.
My trip to Indimasi Healing Village and meeting they qualified doctors and caring team of people brought encouragement to my live in a fresh way.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with daily room service.
During my stay I had numerous consultation with Ayurveda and Homeopathy doctors who then choce for me dietary supplements and suggested practices to strenghten my immune system. I think daily yoga sesion, organic food, breathing exercises, Ayurveda Treatments and medicines have helped me a lot. All the team members at Indimasi did an outstanding jobs, were always very caring and friendly.
Indimasi gave me a lessonon the importance of food as medicine. Organic food at Indimasian incredible an experience and the way it was served was amaizing. The yoga and meditation with Yogi Sivan was unforgottable experience. In my free time I attendet to pool or to the Art therapy with lovely Aniel who talked with everyone or prayed if they wanted to.
While at Indimasi I met many people who had many serious health issues like cancer, arthritis etc and I witnessed how their well-beining improved.
Thanks to everyone for what you did for me. I am forever grateful for your kindness, support and massive encouragement and above all you believe that my health wil be restoret. I am thankful for planty of sunshine and the vegetable garden. All this made me so happy and filled my heart with good memories.
