I came to DunyaGoz to undergo SMILE LASIK surgery on my eyes with Dr Volkan Matben. He was very professional and spoke English.
I came for a consultation and was approved for the surgery, so I had it done on the same day. Perhaps this is how it goes for everyone, but my recovery was incredibly fast! I came for preoperative preparation at 1:30 p.m. for the paperwork, payment and preparation. At 2:15 p.m., I was already out after the surgery. The surgery itself on both eyes probably takes less than 15 minutes. Afterwards, I had severe light sensitivity. But by 8:00 p.m., I could see perfectly with my eyes wide open.

Hello!
Exactly 3.5 months have passed since my surgery. I did not want to leave a review immediately after the surgery because I wanted to provide more objective information about the process and its results.
All the necessary examinations are performed before surgery, and treatment is planned according to the method that is best suited to your eyes. Following the assessment performed together with Associate Professor Dr Veysel, we decided that SMILE Pro would be the most suitable method for me.
The surgery was genuinely very easy. There was no need to tense up or be afraid. The laser procedure takes approximately 10 seconds for each eye, and everything is completed in about 10 minutes in total.
After surgery, it is natural to experience blurred vision, eye sensitivity, difficulty looking at light and difficulty opening the eyes. For me, all of this passed within about one day. The next day, my vision began to become clearer. Despite some blurriness, I could already see my surroundings.
The biggest problem for me was the tingling, burning sensation and dryness, which continued during the first three months. In the mornings especially, after waking up, my eyes were so dry that it was difficult to open them without using drops. I was told that dryness would be less pronounced with SMILE Pro than with other laser methods and that the result in terms of clarity and HD vision would be better. However, at present, the clarity I expected is definitely not there.
If you ask how I realized that my vision was not clear enough: when I wore glasses, the image was genuinely very sharp. Those who wear glasses know this well. After the surgery, I see better without glasses, but I still do not have the clarity my glasses gave me, and after this much time I no longer think it will appear.
Now I really see much more comfortably and better than before. However, I still experience tingling, dryness and slight blurriness from time to time. Especially when I am tired, I can even see a person next to me as a blur. You could say that I constantly encounter this problem when trying to focus on distant or nearby objects, as if a veil occasionally appears before my eyes.
I cannot say that I am completely satisfied with the result of the surgery. There was practically no postoperative attention or care. Nevertheless, compared with the period before surgery, everything is much better, as it should be. Everything has improved — watching television, driving a car and everyday life. I recommend it to everyone.
My only wish is that my vision does not become worse than it is now.

My daughter had vision of −12.30 in her right eye and −15.00 in her left eye. We were told that the ICL procedure could free her from glasses, and we decided in favor of this method.
For the first eye surgery, we were the doctor’s fourth patients of the day. From the moment she entered the operating room until she returned to her room, approximately 35 minutes passed. After a follow-up examination in the afternoon, we were allowed to go home.
Today, surgery was performed on the second eye as well. This time, she was the first patient, and everything took 27 minutes from leaving the room to returning.
God willing, this eye surgery will also be successful and we will return home safely. May God bless our doctor Volkan and grant him many long years of life.

I came from the United Kingdom to have laser surgery with Cem Alay. This is a real hospital, and Cem is a fantastic ophthalmologist — experienced and passionate about his work.
I am also afraid of hospitals, but the hospital itself looks so modern and luxurious that it does not trigger my phobia at all. Cem and the entire staff are very reassuring, never rush you and take the time to make sure you understand what is happening. Cem speaks English fluently, so you will not have to panic or wonder what is going on.
In short, I had a wonderful experience. I now have perfect vision, the postoperative care was good, the procedure went perfectly and took less than a minute per eye.
It is definitely worth coming here if you want to have laser vision correction in Turkey. When I arrived, I did not know which type of laser correction I would receive. Your eyes are examined to determine the most suitable procedure, and everything is explained to you.

Dr Cem Alay examined me and approved me for iLASIK surgery within just a few days. Throughout the entire process, I felt no pain, only slight discomfort.
