Unfortunately, I became one of the rare unsuccessful results of a rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Guncel. Before the surgery, I had no problems with the bone structure of my nose — the only issue was a very fleshy and drooping nasal tip.
My surgery was done in 2016. I was completely satisfied with the operation itself and with the photo of my nose immediately afterward. During the first-year check-ups, the doctor said it would take time for the nose to fully take shape.
However, over the years, the opposite happened. While I was waiting for the swelling to subside completely, the tip of the nose dropped even further. From the front, the nose became wide, resembling an eggplant in shape, and an asymmetry appeared when I smiled. Now I almost never take photos from the right side or from the front. Only the left profile looks more or less acceptable, but I am completely dissatisfied with the front view of my nose.
Of course, compared to the initial condition, there are changes — the tip used to be even lower. I chose Dr. Guncel precisely because I wanted a natural result. But in my opinion, the naturalness turned out not to be beautiful, but unfortunately the opposite.
It has already been almost 10 years. Over the last two years, I have had fillers in my nose several times to at least slightly correct the drooping tip, but I have not been able to solve the front-view problem.
I chose this doctor because I really liked his work, but unfortunately I realized that luck also plays a big role in aesthetic surgery.
I never dared to have a revision surgery, so I am forced to live with a nose that I really don’t like.

I sincerely cannot recommend Dr GO strongly enough. I would go through the whole experience again without any doubt. He is exactly the kind of surgeon who truly cares about making the result look good not only now but also years later.
He doesn’t just agree to everything — he studies the facial proportions and creates a nose that truly suits you. The result is so natural that you still look like yourself, just more refined and harmonious.
Traveling to another country for surgery was, honestly, nerve-wracking, but the care I received made this experience one of the best of my life. The nurses were incredible: constantly checking on me, making sure I was comfortable, and helping with everything I needed.
The recovery surprised me. I had almost no bruising, and it went away in 1–2 days. This really shows how precise Dr GO’s technique is.

Initially, I came to Turkey because of eye surgery for my wife, and we had a day and a half left before returning to the UK. I walked into the clinic — it was very clean, with a relaxed atmosphere. After a consultation with a medical advisor, they were able to give me approval for the procedure that same day.
The surgery itself turned out to be quite different from what I expected, even though everything had been explained to me during the consultation. At first the anesthesia was painful, and the whole procedure took about 8 hours, including toilet and dinner breaks.
The next day, I was shown how to use the aftercare products. Overall, I would recommend this clinic.
