Dr. Sudhir Dubey is one of the leading neurosurgeons in India, Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at the large private clinic Medanta in Gurgaon. During his career, he has performed over 10,000 operations on the brain, skull base, and spine.
His key specialization is minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Dubey was one of the first in India to apply endoscopic neurosurgery, which allows the removal of pituitary tumors through the nose (endonasally), without the need to open the skull. This significantly reduces recovery time and lowers the risk of complications.
A special area of his work is endoportal surgery of deep brain structures and minimally invasive spine surgery, including percutaneous procedures. These techniques allow the patient to get up and walk on the day of the operation or the next day.
Dr. Dubey is the only specialist from India to be recognized with the “Young Neurosurgeon” award from the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. He graduated from King George’s Medical College with a gold medal, received an M.Ch degree in neurosurgery at NIMHANS, and completed a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh (USA) and other leading centers worldwide.

Medanta — The Medicity is one of the most renowned private multidisciplinary clinics in India, located in Gurgaon (Greater Delhi area). It opened in 2009 and is accredited by JCI and NABH — international quality standards.
The clinic has a separate Institute of Neurosciences, combining neurosurgery, neurology, neuro-oncology, neuroradiology, and rehabilitation. This allows examination, surgery, and recovery within the same walls. Intraoperative navigation, endoscopic systems, and a CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery center are available.
The clinic receives international patients and has a separate support department for foreign patients: assistance with visas, interpreters, accommodation, and insurance support.
